00:55Mr. Scratch is darkness shaped in Wake's image

01:01when Wake disappeared at the end of the first game
01:04a legend was born
01:06and it's been repeated over and over again
01:09and the legend has turned real
01:11it's kind of like the classical boogeyman
01:13you repeat his name three times and you evoke him
01:16so we are obviously drawing from pop culture here
01:18using the archetype of a serial killer
01:22Mr. Scratch keeps taunting Wake
01:25leaving him messages video recordings to find
01:28of his horrifying deeds
01:30yeah and personally I think he is quite possibly the coolest
01:34and most disturbing bad guy ever seen in video games to date
01:37but that's just me
01:38yeah but I mean there is a lot more to it
01:41I mean we have three beautiful women touched by darkness
01:43and Wake has a nail gun
01:44and what's not to love
01:46yeah and in addition to that there is this high octane
01:48arcade action mode called fight till dawn
01:51with new enemies and a whole lot of new weapons
01:54scoreboards and plenty of unlockable rewards
01:56you know and in the arcade mode
01:58you are setting this kind of spooky deserted locations
02:01armed with an arsenal of weapons
02:04flashbangs, flares
02:05and a flashlight
02:06and a flashlight of course
02:07yeah I mean it's really intense action
02:09you are dodging your enemies
02:10you are using your crossbow to fight them
02:12throwing flashbangs and so forth
02:13it's a high octane action packed sequence
02:16and the enemies keep attacking
02:18they become stronger
02:19more and more of them
02:20if you survive till dawn
02:21you win
02:22and really
02:23American Nightmare is made
