01:37The Alan Wake franchise has moved more than 3 million copies since.

01:46But when the game was released,
01:50that was not the case immediately.
01:53And even though we worked hard on it,
01:56the sequel was not happening.
01:59The time wasn't right for that.
02:01Sure, we could have gone ahead
02:03and created something malicious.
02:06But we felt that that wouldn't have done
02:08justice to you guys, to us.
02:11We want to be really proud of everything that we create.
02:14And certainly wouldn't have done justice to Alan Wake.
02:20We always have many ideas in the works
02:24and things that we are excited about.
02:27And happily, we got a full backing for something new.
02:33A new concept, a new IP.
02:37Something big.
02:38Bigger than what we have created ever before.
02:43Something where we could take everything
02:45that we have learned from Alan Wake.
02:48Everything that we have learned from Max Payne.
02:51And we were able to put that all together
02:54and to create what could be called
02:57the ultimate Remedy experience.
03:00Now, going back to Alan Wake.
03:04Wake is really dear to me
03:06and to everyone at Remedy.
03:08We knew from the beginning
03:10that when Wake ends up in the dark place,
03:14getting out there is going to be
03:17a long, hellish journey
03:20and a hard struggle.
03:23And I guess that where we are now
03:26is fiction becoming reality.
03:29We definitely want to keep on working on Alan Wake.
03:34I definitely want to create something
03:38new for Alan Wake
03:40when the time is right.
03:44You guys are really, really important to us.
03:48You are a big reason why all the hard work
03:51we put into these experiences makes sense.
03:55And as a token of our appreciation,
03:58we have created an awesome Alan Wake package
04:01that includes all the games so far,
04:04the collector's items
04:06and some never seen before materials
04:11that we've been saving for a special moment.
