00:18I got offered over the phone from my agents
00:20They said, oh, they want to do a narration
00:22And I said, cool
00:23When the first time the script came
00:24I found it very shallow
00:27I felt the action was there
00:29I felt the storyline was there
00:31The development of the character
00:34He was almost humanoid rather than being human
00:36And they said, well, talk to us
00:38And we basically rebuilt a bit of Sam's character
00:42And that was the very first game, I think
00:43What's different about what we're doing on this title
00:45Is we're combining face, body, and voice
00:51And we're doing so in a live volume
00:54With as many characters as we need
00:55We're not layering it
00:57We're not adding voice later
00:59It's a fully demanding character now
01:02It's a fully demanding process, physical
01:03We needed somebody that could bring the physicality to the dialogue
01:08Meaning it needed to be captured at the same time
01:10So we needed to have breathiness
01:12We needed to have exertion
01:13We needed to have off mic, on mic
01:15Really to make it feel real in there
01:17So Eric, because of all his TV and film experience
01:21Could walk right into this
01:22And plug in physically
01:25Perfect physique
01:25Great height and body
01:27That match our skeleton
01:31And physically fit
01:32So that I can just bring in a stunt coordinator
01:34And get him to do a lot of the action
01:35Kevin, who we have as the stunt double
01:38Is really a real life Sam Fisher
01:41He's amazing
01:42And so any chance I get to work with him
01:43In terms of the right way to move
01:47The right way to hold the weapons
01:49That sort of elite, covert ops physicality
01:54It's just been awesome
01:55Working with Eric makes directing really easy
01:58It feels like he has a perfect memory
02:00Because every time I go on to set
02:02I never see him carrying a script
02:03So I've never met somebody who's more off book
02:06He's got chops as an actor
02:08The point is he's giving himself permission
02:11To be organically correct
02:13To be organically
02:14He's not trying to be Michael Ironside
02:16He's not trying to be a Sam Fisher for the past
02:18He's got something that's marketable
02:20And he's good at what he does
02:21He's not here by mistake
02:24Man's a good actor
02:25The fans of Splinter Cell
02:27Are going to be
02:29Very pleasantly surprised when they play this game
02:32We are taking things to a whole new level
02:34Not in just the technology of how we're doing it
02:37But these stories are intense
02:39And we're doing things that Sam Fisher has never done before
02:43So I hope you stay tuned
02:47Because we're having a lot of fun doing this
02:48Sounds big!
03:07So I hope you're having a lot of fun doing this
03:10But I can only increase
03:10But I can only nag my
