00:11For those of you who are new to the franchise, or specifically Spies vs. Mercs,
00:15we wanted to try to level the playing field a bit and give you some basic keys to success.
00:20What we're showing you now is Spies vs. Mercs' classic.
00:23As you may know, it's two versus two.
00:25The objective for the Spies is to hack,
00:28while the Mercs, therefore, try to defend the Terminals.
00:32Spies are played in third-person perspective.
00:35They're fast, agile, and deadly up close.
00:38Use your environment, vents, pipes, and ledges, and stick to the shadows.
00:43Stay hidden, especially once you or your teammate has initiated a hack.
00:47You need to stay alive and in the area of the Terminal to complete the objective.
01:01Mercs are played in first-person.
01:03They've got a flashlight to peer into the darkness and have a distinct advantage with weaponry and armor.
01:14Use your gadgets to set traps, protect the Terminals, and make sure you listen closely for footsteps.
01:19Avoid over-using your flashlight, as it blatantly gives away your position.
01:35Your best strategy is the simplest.
01:38Communicate with your partner.
01:40Use teamwork.
01:41Understand that Spies and Mercs are very different entities.
01:45Play to your advantages, and learn from the opposition.
