00:00Yeah, and also Tom brings up a good point, because even though we do have some of these guys that
00:03were pitching in the World Baseball Classic, they're still ramping up.
00:06And no Major League Baseball manager is going to say, OK, we're going to get Max Fried or Logan Webb.
00:09Hey, he's at 98 pitches. Yeah, let him go off the next inning. He might throw another 20 pitches. That's
00:13not happening.
00:14No, we're not saying also that they're going to throw 65 or 75 pitches, but you're not going to see
00:18113 pitches on opening day.
00:20And also understand this, when you're handicapping Yankees and the Giants.
00:23You see right now that price point about a minus 122, just looking on the FanDuel Sportsbook, Tom, in the
00:27six and a half that we just told you.
00:29It's Fried versus Webb, two really good pitchers at this point.
00:32But understand this too, Tom, when you're handicapping these type of games.
00:34We don't have the bullpen, which again, coming in healthy through the season is fine.
00:38Still working out, Tom, that sixth inning guy, that seventh inning guy, that eighth inning guy.
00:41Most teams already have their closures picked out by day number one, but it's interesting just to see this.
00:45Do you agree, though, that the Yankees at a minus 122 price, give or take, should be the favorites here
00:50on opening night against the Giants on the road?
00:53I do to an extent. You know, Logan Webb certainly deserves a ton of credit.
00:57And listen, if there's any chance to back Logan Webb, I don't, I honestly don't know if there's going to
01:01be any other starts this season that he's going to be at home getting plus money.
01:05The only other circumstance would be when he's facing the Dodgers, when that comes around, just because there's so much
01:10public money on the Yankees and the Dodgers that Logan Webb deserves it.
01:14So, if someone came into this blindly and said, I want to take Logan Webb at home and plus money,
01:18I see absolutely no issues with that.
01:20What I'm immediately thinking of, Donnie, is what's the weather going to be like?
01:23Now, obviously, we're a couple days out from this, but it's going to be the afternoon, evening, night in San
01:28Francisco in late March in what is already a pitcher's park.
01:32That does not scream warm weather, beautiful days.
01:36No, it's going to be like in the 40s with a little bit of wind and it's going to be
01:39misty and hazy and absolutely frigid, not pitch, not great hitting weather, perfect pitching weather.
01:44Jacket and baseball, which is kind of because I know the Yankees are always a national draw.
01:48But again, you talk about like, OK, where's the spot you want to put in, which typically, you know, the
01:52northern teams like to start in the south.
01:54For the most part, they try to line those up or teams like have dome stadiums or retractable roofs can
01:58use it.
01:58It's interesting that they put it in San Francisco, but again, networks are going to love East Coast, West Coast,
02:02big market, San Francisco, big market, New York Yankees.
02:04That'll be fine, Tom.
02:05Just going over the game itself, as we said, freed versus web.
02:08And I know you love to do this hitter prop parlays here.
02:10Fan do sports book, Tom, just taking the two favorites on the board.
02:13We rise to get a base hit minus 250.
02:15Aaron Judge to get a base hit minus 210.
02:17That parlay pays back minus 104.
02:19Like I'm already getting those vibes again where baseball is so unique in the way you can operate with so
02:24many different things in a single game.
02:25It's fantastic stuff.
02:27And just to see that, and again, there's no handicap on that.
02:29Two good pitchers, two good hitters, minus 104 at this point.
02:31But the attack structure here, it's always great.
02:34It wasn't too far off time.
02:35Hey, you just can pick a side and you can just put, you know, a money line or a total
02:38in this game and deal with it.
02:39So many different ways to bet.
02:40And also, as we lead up to opening day, so many more different ways to bet as well.
02:44But they all have the recorded hit props, which I love, Tom.
02:46Two favorites, minus 104.
02:48Come on now.
02:48Base knock here, base knock there.
02:50Cash in your pocket.
02:51All right.
02:52I was already looking at that yesterday.
02:53I was also looking at some of the strikeout props that we have for those pitchers, which are listed.
02:57I was looking at Freed under 5.5.
02:59That was juiced pretty heavily, around minus 160 or so yesterday afternoon.
03:03So, you know, we are getting into this.
03:04And, you know, as we go on throughout the season, obviously, we will kind of hone in on the markets
03:09that you and I both love,
03:10which are the HRR markets, the RBI markets, whatever it might be.
03:14But it's finally good to start, you know, to start seeing these start being posted.
03:18Let me ask you a question, too, Tom, because we always talk about the Yankees and their home runs.
03:22Aaron Judge, the MVP.
03:23Can he hit 50 home runs?
03:24He's listed right now at 49.5, which means 50 home runs it's going to take to cash in.
03:29And can he do it?
03:29Absolutely.
03:30But when you think about that, you need 50 home runs to cash a ticket.
03:33It's kind of incredible.
03:34But I look at Cody Bellinger down there, 23.5 home runs.
03:38Swart Porch out there.
03:39I think he gets to 25.
03:41If you're looking at those Yankee players, Tom, Aaron Judge, Ben Rice, Cody Bellinger, Jazz Chisholm,
03:47who would you like to make a play on for a home run prop over or under on these?
03:51It might be Ben Rice.
03:53And it would be going to the over where, you know, he's expected to start at first base.
03:58But there are some reports saying that when, you know, obviously, he's a lefty, great exit velocity.
04:04But there are some reports saying that he will shift from first base to catcher and get Austin Wells out
04:10of the lineup,
04:11obviously, when they're facing righties versus lefties, those sorts of things.
04:14So his playing time may be elevated this year.
04:16So he goes from first to catcher and he's not being pulled out of the lineup.
04:20So they obviously have to juggle with Stanton being a DH only, essentially.
04:23And also, you take a look at that, you know, estimated lineup.
04:26We don't know exactly where they're going to fit in.
04:27But let's just say Ben Rice does hit fourth.
04:28That means a lot of players are going to be on base for him, high leverage situations for him,
04:32and also maybe an RBI proper, too, that you could take a look at.
04:35But opening night, Tom, Wednesday night in the Bay Area.
04:39It's going to take place at 8.05 p.m. Eastern here.
04:41And correct me if I'm wrong, Tom.
04:43This is an Apple game, I believe, which I think people are pretty upset about here.
