00:01Polls for the parliamentary elections open in Slovenia on Sunday,
00:06where the incumbent Liberal Prime Minister Robert Golub takes on right-wing conservative Janis Jansa.

00:22but analysts predict that neither are likely to win a clear parliamentary majority.
00:28Jansa, a three-time Prime Minister and ally of Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban,
00:33was initially polling ahead of Golub, but the gap has recently closed.
00:39Slovenia historically has been incredibly polarized,
00:42but these divisions were further deepened after Golub accused foreign services
00:47of interfering with the parliamentary elections.
