00:30Just being a part of this, even though it's just for a day, is a remarkable experience.
00:34Being able to try something before everyone else gets the drive of me going, I'm all excited.
00:39You see this competitiveness, this sort of how can I use what he just told me to my advantage.
00:44That's all we've ever wanted, to be able to give our input and make the game that we all love
00:48and play that much better.
00:51Kill confirmed.
01:05Crank really developed from the idea of playing again with the TDM rules.
01:09We've added this idea that once you get a kill, you become cranked.
01:13You start speeding up, you're running all crazy.
01:15And then you have 30 seconds to kill another enemy, and if you don't, you explode.
01:19And die.
01:20And all of a sudden it becomes very frantic Call of Duty.
01:22Lots of kills really quickly.
01:23I was running around the map going crazy looking for that last kill at the two second mark.
01:28You get a guy in your sights and someone comes in and steals that kill from you, and then you
01:32blow up.
01:33That's kind of a problem.
01:43With Search and Rescue, we realized we wanted to build upon Search and Destroy.
01:46It's a Search and Destroy type of game, except when you die, you drop a tag.
01:50Your teammates can go pick up your dog tags and revive you.
01:54But if the enemy gets it, you're out.
01:55It requires a lot more teamwork, a lot of communication when you're playing.
01:58You're playing chess, not checkers when you play Search and Rescue.
02:01Creates a whole different dynamic in Search.
02:14Reviving teammates and taking out the enemy's tags became another objective within the Search and Destroy mode.
02:20I think it's going to be a lot more strategy involved.
02:36Now we have the contextual lean.
02:38Where you get up to a corner and lean left or right, I think it's great.
02:41And it's something that needed to be introduced into Call of Duty.
02:44And I love the way that it was introduced.
02:49Knee slide's badass.
02:51To be able to slide and then get into a position and be ready to roll in that position is
02:55a unique thing in Call of Duty.
02:57Basically, when you're sprinting, you do like a cool slide animation.
03:00I'll slide it all over the place with that thing.
03:02And also the mantling ability.
03:04Basically, when you're climbing up on stuff, you like carry your momentum with you.
03:07I love that.
03:08It just promotes faster gameplay, more swift movement.
03:23We brought back Assault, Support, and Specialist.
03:26And with Assault, I saw a lot of people choosing the dog.
03:28And it's one of my personal favorites as well.
03:30To have this companion, this dog that helps you out, is so cool.
03:35It'll growl or bark when there's an enemy nearby.
03:37So you may be alerted to someone upstairs or right out the corner.
03:43We haven't really seen that in Call of Duty before.
03:45To have real AI things that escort you around the map, that really appealed to me.
03:51We revamped the way we use UAV.
03:53Now they're called satcoms.
03:54This adds a different element as far as being able to hide these, stack them, put them off to the
03:59side,
03:59and then play a little bit more defensive mind, because now you can actually protect your UAV.
04:03The first tier will give players eyes on.
04:06So when a teammate sees an enemy, you'll see it on your mini-map.
04:09When you throw down a second satcom, it gives you the traditional UAV that everyone's familiar with.
04:13And when a third is thrown down, that's when you see the directional movement of enemies.
04:17The other thing that I really like, where you can snipe from the helicopter.
04:20You go up into the air and you can control where the helicopter is on the map,
04:23but it's up to you to snipe off enemies.
04:25And trying to snipe the guy that's sniping from the helicopter is even much harder.
04:29It's definitely going to be fun.
04:31I'm going to love this every second of it.
04:37We're also adding a new robust perk system.
04:40Basically, they split a bunch of perks from the old Call of Duties and made a pretty big list of
04:44them.
04:44Some perks may be more useful than others or more powerful than others.
04:48It may take up five allotted slots, it may take up four, just depending on what you want to use.
05:00Usually, when you're playing online, you know, you have your headsets and you're calling out where enemies are,
05:05but sometimes when you're here in the moment, you forget to.
05:08But Battle Chatter, it picks up on where enemies are and it'll notify you.
05:11And there's a couple times where I turned around because there's a guy screaming,
05:14and I was trying to figure out what he's talking about.
05:16And he's right, like, there's someone on my six, there's someone behind me.
05:19It gives you a better sense of where enemies are, even if you're kind of shy and you want to
05:24stay quiet throughout the game.
05:25Got hostile, see the wrecked ship!
05:42Working on Call of Duty Ghost has been an amazing trip.
05:45We're getting close to the finish here.
05:48Everyone's really excited.
05:49We were a launch title for the 360, and now to be a launch title for the Xbox One,
05:55it's a really, it's kind of a fun, monumental occasion for us.
06:00It's, it's, we know it's a lot more work.
06:03We know it's a lot harder.
06:04And that actually, I think, just drives us more.
06:07And I'm really excited about how Call of Duty Ghost is going to turn out on Xbox One.
06:13Call of Duty Ghost is going to turn out on Xbox One.
