00:14Welcome to this walkthrough video
00:16So let's jump off this building as we'd like to show you our new updated city and also some of
00:21our new key features including this new opus
00:26You can notice right away that the web swing mechanic feels different
00:30Spidey's webbing now connects with buildings and objects in the environment rather than attaching to invisible points in mid-air
00:35To do so we've mapped both arms to the left and right triggers respectively
00:40So the idea is simple if there's a building to the left
00:42Well, then it's better to use the left trigger and if there's one to the right then it's better to
00:47use the right trigger
00:47And if there's no building around or nothing to attach to well, you'll fall
00:52We've added some great additions to this mechanic like swing boosts catapults horizontal wall running and more that you'll be
00:58able to unlock through the game
01:00This totally redefines the way you'll be roaming around the city as you feel much more connected to spidey's unique
01:05ability
01:06And of course the web rush mechanic is back
01:08For those haven't played the first game this mechanic gives you a lot more precision when you free roam around
01:13the city by letting you decide precisely where you want to go
01:18Okay, now let's open up our in-game cell phone
01:20This is a great tool by the way it helps you track all the activities that are happening at the
01:24moment in our city
01:25Depending on if you decide to complete those activities or not law enforcement will actually react and evolve differently
01:31This is part of our new hero or mini system that will affect your reputation throughout the game
01:36Our smartphone is also there to help you organizing important information and granting access to new upgrades and abilities
01:43We'll let you discover that by yourselves as I would like to show you some of the new elements brought
01:47in this game
01:48To show you these features let's hop on the train and go to Envy's house
01:54We wanted to get a little more personal with the story this time around
01:58After all spider-man is only one side of a character right
02:01In response to a number of fans requests
02:03We're giving his other half Peter Parker his own separate role in the game
02:10So here we're in your bedroom where you'll be able to access a lot of options
02:15You can replay missions you can buy upgrades etc
02:18But one cool thing that we really wanted to add

02:31So for this walkthrough let's head to a more stealthy mission outside the city
02:37One big difference in the amazing spider-man 2 is the way we approached the mission design
02:42Rather than go through linear levels like we did in the previous games
02:45This time around we created open areas for you to explore
02:48It's up to you to decide how the level will be approached
02:52In this case the objective is to infiltrate the building's basement and track down the boss hidden inside
02:56But before going in we should take down some of the snipers that are scanning the area
03:07So let's hop on that beam
03:13And jump on that ledge
03:18And take down the guard from a distance
03:36Oh and by the way let's do one of my favorites
03:41Spidey can now repel and perform some amazing inverted takedowns anywhere anytime
03:48Really useful
03:54Let's use our spider sense to scan the area and track down our friends
03:57This will help us establish our strategy
04:03Now here's an armored guard
04:04You can either take him down with a stealth attack or by using the ionic upgrade applied to your webs
04:09The ionic webbing allows you to break down their armor otherwise you won't be able to hurt them
04:13But let's keep a stealthy approach for now

04:34We've also upped spidey's prowess in up close and personal combat
04:38We did a lot of improvements by improving our combo system
04:41We've included dodges and rolls
04:43We've added critical strikes, wet upgrades and finishing moves

04:53You see that they move really fast and can be very deadly
04:56So you must think on your toes to stay alive
