00:16Today we're going behind the scenes
00:18to show you some of the developments on The Witcher 3.
00:20So come with me.
00:23All right, come this way.
00:24We're going to check out the dialogue room
00:26and the character team.
00:28So my main focus is to work on the character faces
00:31to make sure that every single character
00:33from almost 90 main characters
00:34and 2000 secondary and background characters
00:37has the same good quality of the Mimic system.
00:40Hi, I'm Bill Daley. I'm the secondary lead on The Witcher 3.
00:44We've implemented NVIDIA's HairWorks technology.
00:47The HairWorks allows us to modify the density,
00:50the clumpiness, the shape, the waviness of the hairs.
00:54In that sense, we spend quite a bit of time
00:56and making sure that our main characters, Geralt's hair,
00:59looks great with HairWorks.
01:02And the other example would be this bear,
01:04which is basically a huge amount of fur moving.
01:08And you can really see all that fur simulated on the bear
01:12and it moves so naturally.
01:15Hello, my name is Jador.
01:16Mainly I work on character controls in camera.
01:19So I work mostly on Geralt.
01:21One of the great things of the game, as you probably know,
01:23is the extreme detail in everything.
01:29Epic Destruction allows us to create more dynamic environments,
01:33hidden treasures.
01:34You can interact with it.
01:36That's what you would like to destroy.
01:38You can do it.
01:43This guy's name is Mike Stats.
01:45I'm an art producer.
01:46We're building the world of The Witcher, lighting it,
01:49giving it the right atmosphere and adding visual effects to the world.
01:53From the very beginning, we've been working together with NVIDIA.
01:57NVIDIA has a lot of new ideas that enhance the game's experience.

02:06and introduce you to some of our developers on the team.
