00:55All right, we're finally taking a break from the show floor.
01:00My mind is mush.
01:01What did we say today?
01:02The first thing that we ran to today, since we've been in such a monster hunter mode,
01:08we've been playing so much, mood mode, is the Capcom booth, which actually was one of
01:14my favorite booths at the show.
01:16I think they have the best booth here.
01:17They've recreated a caravan where there's this sort of wagon that you can go in.
01:22And tents that you can cut together and parties at four.
01:24The wagon is made by I Am 8-Bit, who made the room that we filmed in, decked it out
01:30with
01:30like all sorts of little touches from the game, artwork everywhere.
01:33The weapons on display.
01:35And it kind of has like that same feel in the game where there's like old bottles
01:40everywhere and like the chest.
01:44Mm-hmm.
01:44So many small details they really nailed.
01:46And then we headed over to our awesome friend, Gung Ho.
01:52Gung Ho.
01:52Yep.
01:53Sort of a cool corridor from the Nintendo booth.
01:56Then you go to the Gung Ho booth and then there's the Capcom booth, sort of all in succession.
01:59Yes.
02:00So it's really easy to get all your Nintendo picks in.

02:04So they have the two Huggle and Dragons games there.
02:07Yep.
02:07The Super Mario Bros. Edition and Z.
02:10And Z.
02:10And I actually hadn't had a chance to play those games before.
02:13So I checked those out.
02:14I really like those.
02:15Yeah, they're both really fun.
02:16The second stage of the Super Mario Bros. is going to take their butts.
02:20At first I thought it was just me.
02:22Then you couldn't make it through.
02:23And then one of our other guys couldn't make it through either.
02:25Yeah.
02:26Treehouse couldn't make it through.
02:27Yeah.
02:27Probably could make it through.
02:28What happened?
02:29It's a good challenge.

03:24Both times.
03:25Well let's set the stage here for people.
03:26I just want to be very straight up front that my team beat your team both times.

03:32So we were on different teams.
03:35And of course this is the first time we've had Splatoon out there for people to try.
03:39So we've got a lot of first timers.
03:40It's a four on four multiplayer game.
03:41It's a team game.
03:42Yeah.
03:43My team were four but your team was four.
03:46So.
03:46Well congratulations.
03:47Well thank you.
03:48We had a minimal contribution to that one.
03:51Whatever.
03:51So that was a lot of fun.
03:53It was so much fun.
03:54Oh my gosh.
03:54It's really cool actually playing with fans and stuff because after you play you just
03:59like instantly feel like yeah we are a team.

04:02It's cool you know.
04:03Now I heard today the line was filled up really fast.
04:07It's good.
04:07So I think there must have been some people talking about playing it the first day.

04:12Word got out.
04:13When the doors opened it was this whole beeline to the platoon station.
04:16We also have in our booth a stage where Cory from Treehouse is giving some demonstrations
04:22of Codename Steam.
04:24Yeah.
04:24And he kindly asked me to be his victim I mean participant in a multiplayer battle.
04:30You weren't a victim.
04:31You beat him then.
04:31We played two matches.
04:33One was sort of more of a traditional death match.
04:36He did beat me there but I gave him a run for his money.
04:38I think he was feeling a little nervous.
04:39Yeah he got like back into a corner.
04:41Yeah.
04:42So take that Cory.
04:43Yeah.
04:44Just kidding.
04:44We love you Cory.
04:45That was really fun because Cory's been doing those like stage things all day.
04:49Yeah.
04:49But one thing that I really loved that he was doing was showing off the Amiibo.
04:51Yes.
04:52We went to the indie mega booth.
04:55Yeah.
04:55Which is something that's always been huge.
04:57Bigger and bigger every year at PAX.
04:59We just have sort of a area that's dedicated to indie developers.
05:02They're really just stacked in next to each other so you can just take in so many games
05:08as you can just sort of walk through these aisles.
05:10And a lot of really cool eShop games and eShop developers were there.
05:14So Runbow is a really cool 9 player multiplayer game.
05:18Affordable Space Adventures went by.
05:21That game's coming out really soon.
05:22Just you know so much good stuff out there.
05:24That sets PAX apart a little bit and you know makes it really fun for people who want to learn
05:29a little bit more about these games.
05:30They can make affordable space adventures begin.
05:33Yes.
05:34But you know after that we just sort of walked around the hall.
05:37Upside the hall just within the venue.
05:39And there's a big area that they set up where you can check out games and just sort of play
05:46whatever you want.
05:47Yeah.
05:48They've got a big Nintendo representation.
05:52So you can walk into one room where there was a Mario Kart Wii tournament happening which was really cool
05:56to see.
05:57And those people were psyched.
05:58A lot of people there.
05:59But it's not just new games that they have there.
06:01So you know if you go into another room like you saw some people playing Mario Party games from Nintendo
06:0764.
06:08Someone's playing Super Mario World.
06:09Yeah.
06:10Yeah.
06:10They have like a bunch of Sprint Nintendo set up where you can just like check out games.
06:15Right.
06:16I found these guys that were playing music with some keyboards.
06:18Some really cool Mega Man jams.
06:21Those guys are good.
06:22Those guys were amazing.
06:23Awesome.
06:23Yeah.
06:24I just sort of like wandered by.
06:26They were playing there like all day.
06:28The siren song of Mega Man.
06:31I know right.
06:31Just attracted me to those guys.
06:33I think they were really awesome.

06:35about PAX you know.
06:36It's a big venue.
06:38But you sort of wander around and just walk into something.
06:41Like oh wow.

06:46That's really what makes it fun is you know.
06:48No matter if you're gaining interest they really have something for you.
