00:14:16already spread

00:14:16on the Assault

00:14:17and the Trapper class

00:14:18those are going to be

00:14:19so detrimental

00:14:20you should have

00:14:20no down penalties

00:14:21with a Lazzaro's

00:14:22that is his biggest strength

00:14:23is to prevent that

00:14:24unfortunately for them

00:14:25having a hard time

00:14:25at stage 1

00:15:39and what you're seeing

00:15:40from the monster here

00:15:41is something that

00:15:41we really like to see

00:15:42he's using that decoy

00:15:44to go farm for him

00:15:45and then coming back in

00:15:46getting the food

00:15:47in his belly

00:15:47misses the abduction

00:15:48there unfortunately

00:15:49but still in a good place

00:15:51yeah and that's one

00:15:51of the advanced tactics

00:15:52that you really notice

00:15:53in the pro players

00:15:54we've seen so far

00:15:55are what we define as pro

00:15:56is the ability to farm

00:15:57and not stop moving

00:15:58these rates love to use

00:15:59that decoy

00:15:59because it can kill

00:16:00the neutral creeps

00:16:01it allows you to walk up

00:16:02eat them and keep moving

00:16:03without stopping at all

00:16:04to attack

00:16:04and that's what's so important

00:16:05efficiency

00:16:06every second counts

00:16:07and that's what you need

00:16:08to get ahead and evolve

00:16:09speaking of PC

00:16:44aspect of the ball here

00:16:45with twice the regen

00:16:46they're going to be able

00:16:46to duke and dodge

00:16:48all over this fight

00:16:48and they're going to need

00:16:49it against the ref

00:16:50Jay Party

00:16:50I played this hunter team

00:16:53a couple weeks ago

00:16:54in some internal tests

00:16:55and I felt the wrath

00:16:58as you mentioned

00:16:59of this team

00:17:00and their traps

00:17:01this is a very good trap team

00:17:03they know how to lay down

00:17:04those sentry guns

00:17:05and those mines

00:17:06as you're seeing there

00:17:06that's a really scary place

00:17:08to try and fight

00:17:09as the monster

00:17:10yeah it's so hard

00:17:10to get on top

00:17:11of that hillside

00:17:11you're not going to

00:17:12knock them down

00:17:12even if you get up there

00:17:14they're just going to bail

00:17:14while you take a bunch of mines

00:17:16and a bunch of turrets

00:17:16as damage

00:17:17you can see

00:17:17he doesn't like it

00:17:18already at half armor

00:17:19man the smallest burst

00:17:20of damage

00:17:20just tears through

00:17:21the wrath shields

00:17:23the wrath Jay Party

00:17:24you love it

00:17:25I don't even know

00:17:25what I'm saying anymore

00:17:26you want him to bring

00:18:10but is it what they want

00:18:11to be their best bet

00:18:12no armor on the wraith

00:18:13here

00:18:14this is a good time to fight

00:18:15yeah good time to fight

00:18:16you see the trapper

00:18:17getting out of the way

00:18:17of the supernova

00:18:18able to keep that arena up

00:18:20Lazarus gets in there

00:18:21and gets support up again

00:18:23finally though

00:18:24the trapper goes down

00:18:25and down goes the arena

00:18:25as well

00:18:26but the entire time

00:18:28as the wraith is wailing

00:18:29on the hunter there

00:18:30Assault was in there

00:18:31doing big time damage

00:18:32with the lightning gun

00:18:33he has not gotten

00:18:35any eyes on the

00:18:36Lazarus yet

00:18:36so he's trying to deal

00:18:37with this body

00:18:38oh that's what he's doing

00:18:38he's going in for the

00:18:39eat there

00:18:39wants to get rid of it

00:18:40doesn't think he can

00:18:41get it here

00:18:41the Assault class

00:18:42is going to allow him

00:18:43to do too much damage

00:18:45stay on him

00:18:45yeah he might get

00:18:48so trapper's out

00:18:52medic does have a cloak

00:19:09and that is the Lazarus

00:19:10unfortunately

00:19:11you know he got the trapper

00:19:12he could get one of them

00:19:13and he chose the trapper

00:19:14I'm not sure about that

00:19:15decision there

00:19:16I think the Assault class

00:19:17might have put them

00:19:17a little more time here

00:19:18as relying on this trapper

00:19:20as the final surviving

00:19:21team member

00:19:21is going to be a rough fight

00:19:22support would have been

00:19:23another good hunter

00:19:25to bring up there

00:19:25as well

00:19:26since support has

00:19:27that group cloak

00:19:28you could have

00:19:29potentially cloaked

00:19:29Lazarus

00:19:30but decisions in Evolve

00:19:32happen so fast

00:19:33you don't always get

00:19:34the right hunter up

00:19:35this could be

00:19:35big time

00:19:36hit to the hunters

00:19:38and work in the monster's favor

00:19:39you see him going

00:19:40to that stage 3

00:19:42power relay

00:19:43which is an objective

00:19:44now that the monster

00:19:44can destroy for the win

00:19:45and look at that

00:19:47big time hit

00:19:48on the chef there

00:19:49this could be it

00:19:50if the chef goes down

00:20:41he was able to do

00:20:42some good damage

00:20:45as you mentioned

00:20:46and then go and evolve

00:20:48and continue just to

00:20:49work that progress

00:20:50slowly but surely

00:20:51and ended up

00:20:52taking down

00:20:53all the right people

00:20:53yeah the game

00:20:54looked good

00:20:54as the monster there

00:20:55he was able to get

00:20:56two down penalties

00:20:57at stage one

00:20:58that's not usual

00:20:59and looked like he

00:21:00could have almost

00:21:00won the whole thing

00:21:01there but likes to

00:21:01play conservatively

00:21:02they knew that

00:21:02and I think that's

00:21:03what happened

00:21:03the hunters knew

00:21:04he wanted to play

00:21:04conservatively

00:21:05spread out

00:21:06tried to hunt him

00:21:06down and that was

00:21:07actually their

00:21:07downfall there

00:21:08as he was able to

00:21:09single some folks out

00:21:10yeah that was some

00:21:10big time monster play

00:21:55one of the newer game

00:22:03the hunters try and

00:22:03destroy it we're gonna

00:22:22to talk about the beta

00:22:24and the technical tests

00:22:25the tier one and two

00:22:26hunters as well as

00:22:27Goliath and Kraken are

00:22:29in all of the tests

00:22:29that's Xbox one PC and

00:22:32PS4 and you have to

00:22:33unlock them through the

00:22:34standard games progression

00:22:36system just like the

00:22:37retail version of evolve

00:22:38in the beta you'll start

00:22:39with tier one hunters

00:22:40and Goliath and play to

00:22:41unlock the other

00:22:42characters

00:22:47Jay Party talk about

00:22:48Goliath

00:22:49yeah I can see I asked

00:22:50Jam to wait a little

00:22:51bit for me so I can see

00:22:52his abilities going

00:22:52double charge and one

00:22:53in fire breath this is

00:22:55a real interesting mode

00:22:56because I'm never quite

00:22:57sure when the monster's

00:22:57going to choose to

00:22:58engage we've seen a lot

00:22:59of strategies where

00:23:00they sacrifice a lot of

00:23:01the starting eggs as

00:23:02long as one of the six

00:23:03eggs survives you will

00:23:04win the match here we'll

00:23:06see if he goes for an

00:23:06early engage here with

00:23:07that double charge and

00:23:08one fire breath he

00:23:08doesn't have the most

00:23:09burst damage but he does

00:23:10have a lot of CC and

00:23:11some disorienting

00:23:12effects from the fire

00:23:24earlier let's talk

00:23:25about what nest is a

00:23:26little bit there's

00:23:27going to be six eggs

00:23:28spread throughout the

00:23:28map that the hunters

00:23:29must destroy if all

00:23:31the eggs die or the

00:23:32hatched creatures die

00:23:33the hunters do win

00:23:34but if the hunters are

00:23:35wiped out then the

00:23:36monster will win now

00:23:37the monster on this

00:23:38map has the option to

00:23:39hatch one of the eggs

00:23:40and have a little baby

00:23:42monster hanging out

00:23:43with him helping

00:23:43destroy the hunters

00:23:44you gotta watch out

00:23:45though because if the

00:23:46baby monster wanders

00:23:47off on his own he can

00:23:47be an easy target for

00:23:48the hunter squad and

00:23:49that's an objective

00:23:50down so we'll see what

00:23:51they decide to do here

00:23:52the monster farming a

00:23:53little bit off the bat

00:23:53here and that's kind of

00:23:54a necessity you've got

00:23:55to get that base armor

00:23:56built up you can't just

00:23:57go in as you still start

00:23:58at stage one here

00:24:02now the hunters are on

00:24:03the ground here boots are

00:24:03moving here we'll see

00:24:04what they decide to do

00:24:05here they may split up

00:24:06we see a lot of two and

00:24:07two splits as the

00:24:08hunter squad here try to

00:24:09get the monster divided

00:24:10you gotta watch out

00:24:11though if you get

00:24:11picked off early and

00:24:12he divides the team and

00:24:13takes them down you're

00:24:14gonna lose that game

00:24:15real fast so we've got

00:24:16parnell abe val who's

00:24:18getting uh beat up by

00:24:20some venom hounds and

00:24:22bucket nice little team

00:24:23comp here j party this

00:24:24is their uh their nest

00:24:26team comp the one they

00:24:27want to go after the

00:24:28eggs with and look at

00:24:29parnell damage yeah

00:24:30that is that stim pack

00:24:31super soldier his

00:24:32ability here allowing him

00:24:33to fire with almost no

00:24:34cooldown between shots

00:24:35here just tearing apart

00:24:36an egg and look at this

00:24:37bucket one of the

00:24:38coolest tricks i've seen

00:24:39develop those turrets

00:24:40will just shred eggs

00:24:41you can throw them and

00:24:42then leave and have a

00:24:43whole fifth character

00:24:43just farming eggs with

00:24:44those turrets look at

00:24:45that bucket indeed j

00:24:46party he's throwing

00:24:47down the sentry guns

00:24:48they are doing the work

00:24:49for him it looks like

00:24:50the rest of the team

00:24:51is split up and they're

00:24:52going after another egg

00:24:53already so far one egg

00:24:55down uh no minions yet

00:24:57from the monster two

00:24:58eggs down now looks like

00:24:59a third egg is about to

00:25:00be now down as you see

00:25:02those weak spots being

00:25:03uh exploited by abe there

00:25:05with that shotgun down to

00:25:06three eggs j party this is

00:25:08going very well in the

00:25:09hunters favor so far as

00:25:11goliath is staging up

00:25:12yeah just getting that

00:25:13stage up now here's a

00:25:14little behind here i

00:25:15mentioned people like to

00:25:15split up in groups of

00:25:16two but they actually

00:25:17split up into three teams

00:25:18the solo support solo

00:25:20assault and then medic and

00:25:21trapper going on their

00:25:21own to tear apart eggs

00:25:22and man look at that

00:25:23half the eggs destroyed

00:25:24here and the monster with

00:25:26no ally hatch needs to

00:25:27start defending something

00:25:28here he's running out of

00:25:28objectives

00:25:29so j party today we

00:25:31announced that wraith and

00:25:33the tier three hunters are

00:25:34available to play

00:25:34exclusively in the xbox one

00:25:36open beta if you decide to

00:25:38throw down the sixty dollars

00:25:39and pre-purchase evolve the

00:25:41difference between pre-purchasing

00:25:42and pre-ordering j party is

00:25:44that pre-purchasing is

00:25:45spending the entire amount of

00:25:47money pre-ordering is uh

00:25:48usually throwing about down

00:25:49about five dollars and

00:25:51reserving the game uh if you

00:25:52buy the game now regardless

00:25:54of whether you decide to

00:25:55pre-purchase uh everyone can

00:25:57unlock wraith and tier three

00:25:58hunters in the full retail

00:26:00version of the game simply by

00:26:01playing

00:26:02so good to know there j party

00:26:04uh we wanted a way to reward

00:26:06xbox beta players for deciding

00:26:08to buy the game so we're

00:26:14and throw down the sixty bucks

00:26:15with the pre-purchase not bad

00:26:18j party you get it but do

00:26:19remember you can unlock that

00:26:20during the game by playing it

00:26:22but who needs to play a game

00:26:23when it can you can have

00:26:24everything at the very start

00:26:25meanwhile j party monster back in

00:26:28this one has a minion launched

00:26:30minion looks like he's full health

00:26:31as well so that's going to be a

00:26:33tough guy to reckon with uh and

00:26:35one egg up as well trapper is

00:26:37down and assault and medicare in

00:26:38the game supports down as well

00:26:40they're down to two but it looks

00:26:41like parnell has that super

00:26:43soldier popped again going in

00:26:44with the uh rocket launcher there

00:26:46and finishing this egg off with

00:26:48the shotgun trying to get it down

00:26:50before the monster and the minion

00:26:51make their move

00:26:51you know this was a really

00:26:52interesting strategy i think if jam

00:26:54knew what they were doing it

00:26:55would have changed up his play a

00:26:56little bit as this would have been

00:26:57an ideal situation to go in at

00:26:58stage one and pick off these

00:26:59stragglers they've just spread

00:27:00themselves so thin here there's no

00:27:02way they can possibly defend

00:27:03themselves from the monster but

00:27:04they get all the eggs the last

00:27:06remaining objective is going to be

00:27:07that baby minion now following

00:27:09around our main goliath flavor

00:27:10there he is right there parnell

00:27:11wow nice shot by parnell using that

00:27:15multi-fire rocket launcher to take

00:27:19down the baby for the win oh man

00:27:23j party you look good like a tiny

00:27:24little guy i want to put you in my

00:27:25pocket and take you home nicely done

00:27:30hunters even it up and the one

00:27:32that was a clean victory i don't

00:27:34think jam realized what they were

00:27:35doing here it's funny that's the

00:27:36meta of this map of maltsmore people

00:27:38just keep spreading out more and more

00:27:39and more so he wasted time trying to

00:27:41stage up assuming you have to fight

00:27:42an organized hunter squad not at all

00:27:44was the case they were spread out

00:27:45almost single targets at each egg

00:27:46there and they just tear them apart

00:27:48i love it i love it they were they

00:27:50picked the uh the hunters that could

00:27:52allow them to do that highest burst

00:27:54damage that's what they had there

00:27:55yeah nicely done by the hunters so

00:27:56where it looked like it uh it never

00:28:00looked like the monster's favor there

00:28:01actually j party what am i talking

00:28:02about uh that was a all-out hunter

00:28:05win there so nicely done to even it up

00:28:06um i can feel the tension in the air

00:28:09now j party you could cut it with a

00:28:10knife which is going to make for a

00:28:12real nice round three i'm excited to

00:28:14see where we go here uh goliath go

00:28:16ahead and uh oh we're waiting for the

00:28:18timer nicely done uh and let's see

00:28:20what we get here okay cool uh james

00:28:25thanks for that um that's why we have

00:28:29nick here thank you uh so auto balancing

00:28:31you're seeing there is evened up now

00:28:33because we're one to one um and we are

00:28:36going on to the uh third map here

00:28:38they're going to vote for the next map

00:28:39uh their options are hunt or rescue uh

00:28:42and let's see what they vote for here

00:28:44it looks like the hunters are feeling

00:28:45good after that nest win and are going

00:28:47to vote for rescue i like this they're

00:28:49going to keep them playing some of the

00:28:50new modes the ones that aren't as

00:28:51hashed out as much with strategy wise

00:28:52keep them off hunt after that first

00:28:54game he kind of just destroyed folks

00:28:56so i can see how they're going to pull

00:28:57back here rely on that rescue mode and

00:28:59we're going to see what they do here

00:29:00and that was kind of a cool strategy

00:29:01from the last uh in the last game

00:29:02there so we'll see if the hunters

00:29:03continue to impress me with some new

00:29:05tips and tricks i like it i like them

00:29:07bringing that that game that we

00:29:08haven't seen yet uh to dismantle the

00:29:12map dismantle the game mode and show how

00:29:14you can take it apart and really

00:29:16not be a concern um or excuse me uh

00:29:19you know having the monster not be a

00:29:21concern really that entire game

00:29:23yeah it was awesome did a great job

00:29:24sacrifice hunters it was all in their

00:29:26plan though parnell definitely the

00:29:27mvp of that round that assault class

00:29:29with that damage boost that super

00:29:30soldier just crushing objectives

00:29:32parnell getting some love and showing

00:29:34how he does work it looks like we're

00:29:36going to see goliath again jay party

00:29:37let's disappear out of the frame and

00:29:39go talk about the game fade away to

00:30:25the full retail version of the game

00:30:27simply by playing we wanted a way to

00:30:29reward xbox players for playing are

00:30:31deciding to buy the game so we're

00:30:33giving them wraith and tier three

00:30:34hunters right then and they're on the

00:30:36spot jay party to follow up on that if

00:30:38you decide to purchase or excuse me

00:30:40pre-purchase evolve after the open

00:30:42beta you will instantly unlock wraith

00:30:44and tier three hunters when you pick up

00:30:46the game at launch saving you the

00:30:48valuable time it takes to grind and

00:30:50unlock them by playing well shut up and

00:30:52take my money shut up that's what i

00:30:53say so our genius uh technical uh

00:30:57assistants here in the room uh have

00:30:59figured uh out that steam is back

00:31:01online very they're getting the game

00:31:03back online and we're going to jump

00:31:05back in uh jam let's go ahead and start

00:31:07it from the beginning let's play

00:31:09evacuation the way it's meant to be

00:31:11played jay party uh and you know

00:31:13that's a treat for you sticking around

00:31:15and listening to me to uh jibber jabber

00:31:17for the last you know 15 seconds uh or

00:31:20maybe 15 minutes uh you're gonna have

00:31:22some more gameplay everybody wins jay

00:31:24party everybody wins all right we're

00:31:26kicking it off with hunt uh as we've

00:31:28mentioned before hunt is always the

00:31:30first round of evacuation uh so we're

00:31:33gonna be jumping into hunt here we've

00:31:34got jam on the monster everybody's been

00:31:36waiting for that jam to make the

00:31:38hunters into some jelly jay party oh

00:31:41yeah he had a lot of one-line quips i

00:31:42think built up for when his victories

00:31:44occur uh hopefully you're more this

00:31:46time as a one-one split not so good in

00:31:48the warm-up round yeah he really took

00:31:49it to him in that first round of hunt

00:31:51but the hunters did have the upper hand

00:31:54in that round of nest they showed

00:31:56excuse me jay party they showed how it

00:31:59is possible uh to really coordinate

00:32:02your team and work together to split up

00:32:05and take down those eggs as the

00:32:07unsuspecting monster is just you know

00:32:09lost and and left with one minion at

00:32:11the end there yeah he should have

00:32:12noticed that earlier there you do get

00:32:14the on-screen indicator when the eggs

00:32:15are under attack you should have

00:32:16noticed how divided they were there

00:32:18when the team spread that thin level

00:32:20one is more than enough to take down

00:32:21any of the smaller squads of hunters

00:32:28all right folks we'll see what he does

00:32:30here starting back on a nest this is

00:32:32going to be the classic mode again

00:32:33we'll see if he sticks to that trusty

00:32:34monster used the first round and he

00:32:36does here going with the exact same

00:32:38build the double supernova with a

00:32:39point and decoy such a strong attack

00:32:41for the folks on who might not know

00:32:43the supernova is that crazy whirlwind

00:32:45like attack you see on the wraith where

00:32:46he just continually barrages the

00:32:47opponent and the decoy will instantly

00:32:49summon another exact copy while

00:32:52cloaking the original wraith there

00:32:53such a cool ability here one of the

00:32:55neat tricks that i actually learned

00:32:56from jam who told me last week is that

00:32:58when you summon a decoy he will gain any

00:33:00modifiers you have and that includes

00:33:02the supernova ability allowing your

00:33:04decoy to just shred through hunters on

00:33:06his own

00:33:16all right we're gonna be able to talk

00:33:18about this round right off the bat here

00:33:19these first couple seconds so important

00:33:21that head start by the monster is one of

00:33:23the key moments of the round here he

00:33:25needs to utilize that time to get

00:33:26eating get some base armor and get to a

00:33:29good position as the hunters are going

00:33:30to land directly on top of him or right

00:33:32where he is folks mentioned earlier some

00:33:34of the dynamic weather effects we're

00:33:36seeing the rain right now and this is

00:33:37not something you're going to want to

00:33:39see as a hunter this is going to greatly

00:33:40reduce visibility just by the eyes but

00:33:42also the footprints the tracking tools

00:33:44the hunters have are going to be much

00:33:45harder to use here in the deep rain

00:33:47with the race already on the move here good

00:33:49luck finding him so momentum in the

00:33:51hunters favor after that last round jay

00:33:53party so this is this is a crazy place to

00:33:56be right now so you you won around and

00:33:58then you lost around but then we had to

00:34:01start over so now you're you're back at

00:34:03that first round hunt again how do you

00:34:05think this affects the monster and the

00:34:07hunters coming out of those first two

00:34:09rounds well taking a win is always going

00:34:11to boost your pride there on the hunters

00:34:12so far on the 1-0 streak here even though

00:34:14now it's more of a best of seven than a

00:34:16best of five here going in even back

00:34:18into a nest game unfortunately for them

00:34:19in that first game i didn't see any way

00:34:21they were going to beat this monster here

00:34:23he looked great at every point here and

00:34:25he's looking good again look at that

00:34:26already using that nova blast with the

00:34:28decoy allowing him to just shred through

00:34:30some of the larger wildlife at stage one

00:34:32yep and speaking of larger wildlife jay party

00:34:34that's an elite crowbill slot it's going

00:34:35to give him the damage bonus pick that up

00:34:38now he's going to have that for five

00:34:39minutes misses a sneak attack though or

00:34:41sneak pounce he's trying to get that

00:34:43sneak pounce yeah it gets gets punked on by

00:34:46the mammoth bird there so so far so good

00:34:49for the wildlife score one for the

00:34:52rate though full armor almost ready to

00:34:54stage up here looks like he had maybe

00:34:56one meet away from being ready to stage

00:34:58up gets an eye on the hunters using that

00:35:01smell ability to try and see where they

00:35:02they are i feel like this hunt round is

00:35:05definitely in the monsters favor even

00:35:07though he did get dismantled a little

00:35:09bit on that nest round that we just saw

00:35:11previously jam's mechanics are very

00:35:13strong here he knows how to fight he

00:35:14knows what to do here they're going to

00:35:15need to use some tricks if they want to

00:35:16beat him walking what might be into a

00:35:18huge trap here hopefully they stick

00:35:20together here as he's going to dash

00:35:21apart and get some eyes on chef here

00:35:23going for the isolated trapper here can

00:35:24he get him no great dodging by chef

00:35:26that's why you need to always save some

00:35:27jetpack fuel he's able to jump away from

00:35:29that attack here and with the supernova

00:35:31going off on the decoy we'll see how

00:35:32much damage this thing gets off yeah

00:35:34nicely done you're seeing some good

00:35:35teamwork here go by the hunters that's

00:35:37why this hunter team is a tough team to

00:35:39face you're seeing good shielding by

00:35:41support you're seeing a lot of weak

00:35:42points on the wraith from the lazarus's

00:35:45silent sniper rifle and you're seeing

00:35:46hide coming in here with that

00:35:48flamethrower i really like hide against

00:35:50the wraith he's one of the fun

00:35:51characters are also sticking to that

00:35:53lazarus medic here that's such an

00:35:55important nuance to this squad here they

00:35:56don't want to care about healing they

00:35:58just want to revive dead teammates they

00:35:59know the first from that supernova is

00:36:01hard to really mitigate and even the

00:36:02hunter goes down they don't care

00:36:04lazarus can get in there and bring them

00:36:05right back into the fight lazarus does

00:36:07get focused he was sneak-pounced up

00:36:09there he was down for a moment but the

00:36:10team came in rescued him and he got

00:36:12away right now the monster struggling to

00:36:14get these hunters down down at full bar

00:36:16of health but down two hunters go that's

00:36:20assault and support this is gonna be a

00:36:21rough time for the hunters lazarus trying

00:36:23to keep a distance trying to do some

00:36:25damage with the silent sniper rifle there as

00:36:27the trappers now focus if he gets the

00:36:29trapper down down comes a mobile arena

00:36:31one of them's dead j party chef dodges

00:36:33away from the illusion but it's jumps

00:36:34right into the clutches of the main

00:36:36wraith here and he tears him down but

00:36:37there's that lazarus coming out of the

00:36:38world nicely done here i think they might

00:36:40have enough momentum turn this around as

00:36:42there comes the barrage here huge hits

00:36:44wow j party this is going way

00:36:46differently than the first hunt round

00:36:48lazarus able to get the lazarus

00:36:50resurrection here's another one on

00:36:51assault that's going to be no down

00:36:53penalties as jam is down to under two

00:36:55bars of health oh man it looked like he

00:36:57almost had victory there he stayed around

00:36:58longer than he would have liked and now

00:37:00below half health at stage one he just

00:37:01about had it unfortunately lazarus

00:37:03strikes again getting everyone back into

00:37:06the fight and this is exactly the

00:37:08opening with lazarus we talked about the

00:37:09first game that they were going for no

00:37:11down penalties across the board here

00:37:13even though he killed so many hunters

00:37:15it wasn't enough lazarus was able to get

00:37:17him back in there and with no bound down

00:37:19penalties this time huge advantage for the

00:37:21hunters j party speaking of an

00:37:24advantage just like the regular pre-order

00:37:27if you pre-purchase evolve on xbox one

00:37:29you get the monster expansion pack which

00:37:31includes the fourth playable monster

00:37:33that comes out as dlc sometime after the

00:37:36game launches as well as the savage

00:37:39goliath skin completely free you can buy

00:37:42the fourth monster separately once it's

00:37:44out for 14.99 so if you know you're going

00:37:46to get evolve and you know you're in it

00:37:48for the long haul and you want that

00:37:49monster why not just go out and pre-purchase

00:37:52j party just go buy the game for crying

00:37:54out loud absolutely here folks very

00:37:56exciting just get that dlc for free why

00:37:58not you're going to play it anyway

00:38:00j party speaking of that fourth monster

00:38:02we're going to share lots of juicy news

00:38:04next week about the fourth monster so

00:38:07that's some pretty exciting news there

00:38:18monster the wraith uh battling back from

00:38:21under two bars of health went and got

00:38:23that evolve off so now you can see about

00:38:25uh four bars of health now in full armor

00:38:27back in a better position now still not

00:38:29out yeah still not out but at a severe

00:38:32disadvantage here i'm surprised he's

00:38:33going in on this pop the supernova wants

00:38:35to get some real damage off but he's

00:38:36going to wait for that decoy to hopefully

00:38:37distract the rest of the team he goes

00:38:39now to go straight for the butcher

00:38:40hanging out as lazarus there such an

00:38:42important player to this squad and that's

00:38:44who he's going for look out support that

00:38:45shield beam telling the monster exactly

00:38:47where that medic is yeah the lazarus doing

00:38:50a great job chef doing a great job this

00:38:52round of getting those uh resurrections

00:38:54up with that lazarus device so the

00:38:55monster knowing that he needs to go

00:38:57after lazarus get lazarus down lazarus

00:38:59right now trying to come in and get that

00:39:01rez gets knocked back though gets a beat

00:39:03on him misses the abduction lazarus down

00:39:06to half health let's see if he can get

00:39:07lazarus down he's going to get him here

00:39:09in that supernova lazarus going straight

00:39:11up in the air monster wins wow big

00:39:14supernova damage and just like that he

00:39:17brings it back jimmy jam jam for the win

00:39:20oh i love it oh man that was an

00:39:23interesting game there jim not looking

00:39:25so confident in his play there really got

00:39:27outplayed by lazarus in that first stage

00:39:29one fight there able to bring it back at

00:39:30stage two and the hunters exactly what

00:39:32should be a day one hunter lesson don't

00:39:34group up and take huge aoe damage from the

00:39:36monsters don't do it there and he gets

00:39:38like three for one there yeah i would say

00:39:39don't group up and and maybe uh be a

00:39:42little more patient as lazarus as you

00:39:44i noticed uh those bodies were only

00:39:46incapacitated he did not need to rush in

00:39:48there and try to get them at that point he

00:39:50was doing such a great job bringing them

00:39:52up before i thought that was going to be

00:39:53the difference maker because in the first

00:39:55game uh when jam just took it to him uh he

00:39:58wasn't able to get um the all of the

00:40:01lazarus devised resurrection so two of the

00:40:03hunters had down penalties none of them did

00:40:05this time because of those great lazarus play

00:40:07uh but in the end there jam for the win

00:40:10looks like you got jammed all right folks

00:40:13going into stage two had to get some of

00:40:16those out um we'll see what they vote for

00:40:17again last time you know the squad voted

00:40:18for the nest map we'll see if they do again

00:40:20going in on a defeat we're gonna see an

00:40:22advantage for the monster yeah man uh game

00:40:26two here j party of evacuation evacuation for

00:40:29those of you new to the idea is five days

00:40:32of evolve not uh days as you and i know

00:40:34j party but days in the game where each day

00:40:37takes place in a different map and a

00:40:39potentially a different mode you always

00:40:41start out with hunt uh then you have the

00:40:43options of playing nest hunt and rescue in

00:40:46the middle there in the next three days and

00:40:48then finally you end with defend uh so i'm

00:40:51excited to see where this goes so we had

00:40:53our little warm-up round i guess we're

00:40:54gonna call them now uh where jam took game

00:40:56one and the hunters took game two we're

00:40:58now in game two of the day five here four

00:41:00votes into nest they really not shocking

00:41:03yeah no they really nailed it last time

00:41:05with nest they really took it to jam

00:41:07uh and showed the world and us j party

00:41:10how to play nest properly yeah such a

00:41:12cool tactic there although now he knows

00:41:14they might need to think of something new

00:41:15here if they spread out that thin again

00:41:16he's able to just pick off the different

00:41:18squads you know j party i don't think

00:41:20this team is a one trick pony so to speak

00:41:22i think they're probably gonna have

00:41:23something else up their sleeve uh and

00:41:25i'm hoping they're gonna bring it now

00:41:26because uh so far some really exciting

00:41:28gameplay yeah absolutely here they are

00:41:30just loading into character select as we

00:41:32are going to slide away on this cool

00:41:34slip and slide we have to just go right

00:41:35over to the casting booth and away we go

00:41:38j party i'm going to go through this

00:41:40schedule again here as goliath gets ready

00:41:45potentially be having some more steam

00:44:21is what everybody's been waiting for

00:44:23since we first announced the game when

00:44:25are you going gold when are you going to

00:44:26ship the game the game will be out

00:44:28globally except for just a couple little

00:44:31territories on february 10th and what

00:44:34glow going gold means ladies and

00:44:36gentlemen is that the game is done

00:44:39riggedy wrapped up j party ready to go in a

00:44:42box uh or in a code yes if you are a

00:44:45code user series of numbers yes as games

00:44:48are distributed now yes uh and that is

00:44:51uh ready to to go out so in the meantime

00:44:54though uh we do still have a lot of work

00:44:55to do tweaking the balance of the

00:44:57characters the progression unlocks uh and

00:44:59we also need to hammer down on the

00:45:02servers in a big way uh just to make

00:45:04sure that they're ready and stable at

00:45:06launch uh this is why we will be hosting

00:45:09the xbox one open beta and pc ps4

00:45:11closed technical tests next weekend

00:45:16j party what's going on here goliath

00:45:18interesting game here i like how the team

00:45:20is adapting you're trying the opposite

00:45:21strategy of the first game here as we're

00:45:23having a little bit of steam connection

00:45:24issues here but the squad has decided to

00:45:25stick together they're working as a four

00:45:27man unit here and just picking off each

00:45:29egg at a time and i like mixing it up

00:45:30with it this is going to force the monster

00:45:32to have to evolve he can't just go take

00:45:34them on at stage one here as that is just

00:45:35too much firepower for him to deal with

00:45:38speaking of firepower j party here we are

00:45:40on parnell and he is going in on that egg

00:45:42there's the egg done two eggs down

00:45:44they're getting another really good start

00:45:46as you see the third egg fall up there in

00:45:49the top left corner those are your

00:45:50destroyed eggs with the x's on them and

00:45:53they still uh out in the world eggs

00:45:55without the x's as parnell spots another

00:45:57egg here the monster though looking to hatch

00:46:00this egg so we may come down to that same

00:46:03scenario you're in in the last game j party

00:46:06with one minion and one egg left and

00:46:08parnell for the win yeah he's just such an

00:46:11important character on this map able to get

00:46:13that real burst damage we saw in the last

00:46:15round the baby minion was more of a nuisance

00:46:27hunter squad to close in on this final objective yeah he

00:46:29does have the upper hand now if he can get some

00:46:31meat in his belly it looks like a big big

00:46:33wildlife there as the minion is throwing rocks

00:46:36that's telling me that something's in the

00:46:38area that he doesn't like uh yep and that's a

00:46:41hunter jay party surprise hunter coming out of

00:46:43nowhere here and that support is going down

00:46:45here out of the fight to start not a good way

00:46:47to initiate here the cloak the shield's not

00:46:49going to have him in this fight yeah and you

00:46:52see abe coming in here though with the stasis

00:46:53grenade trying to get the monster locked down

00:46:56as uh support is down and out we're down to

00:46:59assault and the trapper uh and the medic around

00:47:02there somewhere as that last egg is uh being beaten

00:47:05on by the team but you see another hunter goes down

00:47:08that's assault jay party uh we're down to the last two

00:47:12hunters and the team here just can't get their pack together

00:47:15here they were too spread too thin the support starts the fall

00:47:18train and now everyone is coming down here val trying to get heels off

00:47:21desperately but it's not enough to keep people in

00:47:23here it looks like chef's going down in a second and that is the end of the

00:47:27hunter squad here that's that rough game jay party

00:47:29unfortunately we had uh some technical issues with steam so

00:47:33i mean while jam has proved himself very worthy

00:47:36of being a victor uh as we are going to slowly slide

00:47:42into view oh look at that jay party very good

00:47:45oh nicely done that's a that's a goliath jay party

00:47:48that's about the right size of goliath compared to us yeah i feel like i'm

00:47:51really there right now i get it's very exciting now in 3d

00:47:55yes uh right you know so rough game we mentioned rough game issues

00:47:59yes worth noting cool feature folks i don't mind i know the ai take over

00:48:02one of the cooler things we've seen in evolve with multiplayer matches

00:48:05it's going to know the second someone disconnects from your game the ai takes

00:48:08over the ai is very good they're going to try to adapt to what you're doing

00:48:10here sticking with the squad doing their best to support the team

00:48:12and that's why they changed their tactics a little bit there and i like what they

00:48:15did to adapt as well and not only that jay party is going to save your spot too so you

00:48:19don't have to worry about uh you know john emma the program director

00:48:23trying to slip in and steal your spot on that winning hunter team

00:48:26like he's known to do absolutely try at least yeah it's going to save your spot

00:48:30and it's going to allow you to jump back in as we saw the hunters getting back in

00:48:34the game there in the last moment uh so again thanks uh for sticking with us

00:48:37while we had those issues and hunters thank you for sticking with us

00:48:41because we know that wasn't uh ideal there as you're trying to beat your nemesis

00:48:45true uh but unfortunately the numbers don't lie 2-0 start for jam in the second round here as

00:48:50promised that 5-0 sweep well underway here unfortunately the gaben gods not smiling on

00:48:55the hunter squad yeah no jam definitely um excited for the warm-up rounds that we had earlier so

00:49:00uh two nothing monster right now let's see uh if the hunters can pull their stuff together

00:49:06and jay party that's the beauty of evacuation it's five whole days they've only done two of them so

00:49:10far they have three games to get this game back in their favor get the momentum back

00:49:14and bring it back to the monster and we're going on to the rescue we haven't seen anything yet about

00:49:19the rescue mode hopefully some tricks are coming out from the hunters here as this is a very strange

00:49:23mode here one of the cool survivor like ones i don't know feel like it's like almost like soccer

00:49:27here only you're playing it with you know humans um yeah i'm excited to see how both of these uh

00:49:31two

00:49:32sides attempt to play uh this round because uh we've seen the way that they split up and and it

00:49:39you know

00:49:40really like i said before dismantled that nest round uh i'm excited to see how they tackle uh no pun

00:49:47intended to your soccer uh analogy there uh jay party uh so rescue for the folks who might not know

00:49:53100 how to play rescue as you guys haven't even played evolve probably half of you the way it's

00:49:57going to work is there's three rounds of survivors that need to be rescued two in the first round and

00:50:01five i believe in the final round here once any of the members gets the majority of the hunters either

00:50:06rescued or murdered if you're the monster you will win the game munchie munchie time for jam uh to

00:50:13potentially eat those survivors up but you know jay party uh after that last round i have switched

00:50:19allegiances here and i'm rooting for the hunters let's go hunters jam let's see what you got baby

00:50:24absolutely folks

00:50:27and with this game just getting underway here we are waiting for the load screens then we are going to

00:50:32see it here on this new map a lot of you might not have seen here i love this environment

00:50:36the outside

00:50:37of snowy blizzard the inside a cool forest-like area with lots of wildlife and rivers kind of a cool

00:50:43zone here jay party jay party jay party we've gone gold on gold the exciting time we've done gone gold

00:50:52the

00:50:53other part of that announcement was uh the uh beard announcement jay party turtle rock studios earning

00:50:59uh excuse me uh donating over eleven thousand dollars

00:51:05to child's play which is a uh a charity children's charity uh 2k matching that amount so a total

00:51:11donation of over two thousand or excuse me twenty two thousand dollars uh to child's play lots of

00:51:17beards grown lots of hair grown that was based on our beard lengths yeah based on all the lengths involved

00:51:23uh of the beards on the dudes and the hair on the dudettes uh and a lot of people i

00:51:31think uh relieved

00:51:32uh to now get to finally shave jay party um but i'm holding out strong for the people

00:51:37um so oh that said jay party um there have been some uh bearded goliath uh images flowing my way

00:51:45from

00:51:45the turtle rock studios forums uh and those have been much appreciated those are on the fridge

00:51:51yeah got them at home on the fridge man jumping into this game here real quickly kind of a funny

00:51:55situation here looks like a hunter and a monster running next to each other didn't realize they

00:51:58were there right away here because now we're seeing this assault class try to tussle with the

00:52:02wraith and he's doing a great job here that armor almost gone it can be hard at stage one to

00:52:06even

00:52:06take on one assault class yeah no nicely done by assault this is my choice uh for assault against

00:52:11the wraith um as hide can lay down this toxic grenade speaking of laying down jay party down goes

00:52:16hide but before that as you mentioned he was able to do a lot of good damage uh lay down

00:52:20those toxic

00:52:21grenades with the wraith i actually like to throw it right on top of myself that way when he tries

00:52:25to come in and get damage on me i'm doing damage on him as well and then follow up with

00:52:30the flamethrower

00:52:30but the wraith relentless here he does have some cloaked hunters but they are having damage done to them

00:52:36so being revealed as a survivor here potentially about to get picked off yeah as we mentioned you get

00:52:42advantages for winning games in this series here and that small goliath running around is actually an

00:52:46advantage from winning that last nest and that's such a big swing that was not going to be in that

00:52:50first round but here jam with the reinforcements bringing it to the hunters as they are falling

00:52:54fast yeah not a bad uh map effect to get jay party you saw in that cool uh cinematic there

00:53:00where we

00:53:01little jay party and little db uh we're terrified of the big goliath life size uh that was him escaping

00:53:07and here he is now lending a hand yeah this ai actually worth its weight in gold each one of

00:53:11those rocks

00:53:12has a huge knockback a lot of disorienting effects on the squad and each one that connects is just

00:53:16such a big bonus to an already really difficult to handle monster that is the raid jay party one of

00:53:20my favorite things to watch in the game is the little goliath throwing the big rock nothing better it

00:53:27is satisfying here and here with an evolve let's see if he goes for that he's still kind of in

00:53:30the hot

00:53:31seat here but he doesn't care he knows they're distracted with other objectives going for that

00:53:34stage over right in the middle of the fight here let's see what he gets here probably going to see

00:53:38a

00:53:38different build slightly on this mode here yeah as he's grabbing looks as the baby goliath goes flying

00:53:43by oh man that thing is just entertaining here he's going in he killed a lot of uh had help

00:53:52killing

00:53:52a lot of the wildlife there in the area where they were fighting which was a couple nice snacks

00:53:57for him to eat as soon as he evolves uh for those of you um new to the idea of

00:54:03evolving in evolve

00:54:04um once you do go into that evolve stage and you're in that cocoon type substance uh you do lose

00:54:11all

00:54:11your armor at that point you are at your most vulnerable state so you do potentially want to

00:54:16try and kill some wildlife and leave it there to feed on uh to get that armor up immediately after

00:54:22you evolve and we are just following our trap here notice she's leaving those mines as she walks around

00:54:26those are those harpoon mines that the monster's running into right now so important to leave those

00:54:30everywhere you need to slow down the man you can't let them run freely or that's what's going to

00:54:34happen that damage though jay party yeah that's that supernova now it's stage three here the supernova

00:54:39only level two monster but max level supernova and that is some damage level two monster crowbill sloth

00:54:44and a goliath minion yeah a lot coming in on these hunter squad isn't their day here and a decoy

00:54:50jay party

00:54:50man just throwing everything he's got at the uh at the hunters and the survivors alike looks like uh we

00:54:57have

00:54:57potentially another survivor here in view no that's a hunter with a down penalty that's sketch sketch

00:55:02gets bounced from behind pops a personal shield gets a little help from the survivor there the

00:55:07survivor though is potentially going to be caught out and down here big time damage from that uh supernova

00:55:14and the survivor down we do have lazarus though jay party so lazarus could potentially get him up but i

00:55:20don't know that that's going to happen this wraith is just too dang powerful yeah one good thing though

00:55:24his armor down and taking some health damage with all the hunters here they could kill him and that

00:55:28would be a win for them as right now they are getting hammered a perfect score for the monster

00:55:31so far four deaths zero rescued survivors here and there is there's not a lot left from the hunters

00:55:36in this game yeah so that said jay party the hunters are going to have to rescue all five survivors

00:55:43here

00:55:44to win the game as you see support taking big damage ladies and gentlemen this is that monster you've

00:55:49been wanting to watch he is really bringing it today and i'm loving it yeah as he promised you these

00:55:54quick

00:55:54games just tearing apart this squad here giving them some room to breathe i'm surprised there looks

00:55:58like he wants to get some armor he is concerned if he died at this point that would be rough

00:56:02as he is

00:56:02at such an extreme advantage in this game only one survivor the monster needs to kill for the win

00:56:07sees one right here he's got five different choices there are some birds there it's going to

00:56:12let the hunters know his location but is it going to be enough jay party no it's not winner winner

00:56:17jam

00:56:20gets the dinner wow yeah another quick game right there as he promised

00:56:26jay party do you remember this one oh yeah that is a good walk oh is that a stairwell into

00:56:31the caster

00:56:31booth there we go oh man from downtown jay party i think the folks at home are going to be

00:56:36real

00:56:36impressed with that one oh jay party this is a this is an important one to watch here uh so

00:56:42with that win

00:56:43on the aviary level there there's going to be phantoms here ladies and gentlemen the infamous phantoms

00:56:50that you've all been asking for you're about to see them on this next map that's going to be the

00:56:56map

00:56:56effect here these terrifying bird-like things are going to be dropping from the sky and attacking the

00:57:03hunters these guys need it they really need it birds from the sky crowbill sloths minions yeah there was

00:57:11decoys there was definitely a four-on-one the other way in that last fight one hunter versus a

00:57:15monster in a large series of wildlife in a couple uh situations there uh nicely done by our monster

00:57:20so far the hunter squad uh really feeling a little down and out right now i'm i'm really rooting for

00:57:26them to come back here uh get their act together on this uh we're at day four jay party getting

00:57:32near

00:57:32the end there you can see chef trying to talk to their soul class work out a plan there he's

00:57:35looking a

00:57:35little flustered we'll see what they cook up here because they're going to need something new

00:57:38yeah and they're going to be voting for the map here they have the choice of nest or hunt

00:57:43they're going hunt jay party bringing back the classics a little split here they're unsure exactly

00:57:47but oh no they switch it up jay party at the end there i like that i like that choice

00:57:53uh they did

00:57:54really well the first time they actually did really well the second time as well uh but he adapted on

00:57:59the monster side of things and uh really turned the tables and yeah needed to put pressure on earlier

00:58:04and he did that and that's what he needed yep so phantoms in this round jay party uh they won't

00:58:08attack the eggs but they sure as hell will attack the hunters so we'll see if they're able to split

00:58:13up as much as they did the first game a solo hunter might not be able to make it on

00:58:16his own in the

00:58:16wildlife when it's this dangerous oh that's a good point jay party because their tactic before was to

00:58:22split up so effectively with bucket and parnell those big blast damage dealers like you said

00:58:28and really take on an egg by themselves really solo that round and now they're going to have giant

00:58:33phantom birds coming after them so let's see how they uh they face against this and let's see i'm

00:58:39excited to see what monster he goes with here on nest yeah very different mode here very different

00:58:45strategies we'll see what he does we've seen him play wraithing goliath a lot those seem to be his

00:58:48favorites here not a lot of crack in place so far and that's going to be all personal preference here

00:58:52each monster totally viable in each mode here the build is what definitely is going to define it

00:58:56here and we've seen him use that supernova absolutely this is the jam he loves to start

00:59:00off with this combination of skills this is the jam jay party and that's the jam on the monster

00:59:06doesn't want it going back to goliath with this charge fire breath combination jay party i really

00:59:10like this we haven't seen a lot of this uh back and forth uh yet where decisions are flip-flopped

00:59:17at the

00:59:17last second um based on you know just these these hunters and monsters really feeling each other out in

00:59:22in this previous rounds so we are going to see goliath here on nest against a really good hunter

00:59:27squad uh that has played nest so far done very well yeah this looks like their mode to win here

00:59:33and

00:59:33they're going to need this going into the final round they're going to want some advantage this

00:59:36would be a huge swing if the hunters get an advantage going into that final mode so going into the

00:59:41final

00:59:41mode uh what is at stake here ladies and gentlemen the last round of evacuation is always defend

00:59:48uh and if the monster wins he's going to have armored minions at his disposal uh the monster is always

00:59:55going to have minions in defend but uh if he does win this round four here he will have armored

01:00:01minions which jay party so far we've seen the minions do some pretty good work against this hunter

01:00:05team if the hunters win this round they will have uh turrets that are going to be beefed up and

01:00:12doing

01:00:12more work than they would normally do on the monster and minions now db jump it back into this game

01:00:17it

01:00:17doesn't get as as good as this that often as a monster here gets nine meets off the bat a

01:00:22triple

01:00:23stack of mammoth birds and one of them in elite gets the ability cooldown perk right off the start

01:00:27absolutely my favorite perk in the game here those abilities come off 50 quicker

01:00:30such an important part of every fight here that nine meat triple stack jay party is the tastiest of

01:00:36treats yeah such a strong start here you see bucket working on this turret here or working on this egg

01:00:41throwing those turrets out here that's going to help him shred through this egg without even being here

01:00:44such cool ability use on this mode and you see what he's doing there he was taking the uh shell

01:00:49off the egg a little bit doing some damage on the egg so that when he throws out the uh

01:00:54sentry gun

01:00:54turrets uh they're gonna engage with that egg and take the egg down you see parnell finishing off the

01:01:00first egg here the second egg will be uh pretty quick to follow as the medic is also working on

01:01:07an egg

01:01:08on her own and you see again uh jam going with the minion taking the minion out of the egg

01:01:15he's

01:01:15gonna have that minion at his disposal but what they that means jay party uh is that um it's at

01:01:21the loss

01:01:21of the egg but not only that chris ashton brought up a good point on the turtle rock stream uh

01:01:26when they

01:01:27were streaming um uh following ours the last stream uh is that you're actually bringing the egg to the

01:01:33hunters which is a very good point because normally they have to go chase down the eggs but in this

01:01:39case uh you're bringing the egg to the hunters but right now that's going in his favor yeah once again

01:01:43getting isolated but chef goes down on the oh and a phantom as well of course those are going to

01:01:47be

01:01:47helping out but chef is down here parnell still doing his job tearing through these eggs you're going

01:01:52to see another one fall in a second and that's going to leave half the objective still up on the

01:01:55map

01:01:56trapper down j party trapper is out of the game we're down to the medic assault and support we do

01:02:01have

01:02:01val is the medic so no lazarus here to bring them back in val's getting focused right now

01:02:06getting battered around it looks like that's the the goliath on her and the minion uh they may be able

01:02:12to finish off val this will be a 2v2 j party as the butcher runs for his her life yeah

01:02:19val doing a

01:02:19great job of running from two goliaths here with what is inevitably going to be a depth here as goliath

01:02:24rampage with that fire breath gets a hit look at that the baby rock throw knocks the other player around

01:02:28baby rock throw j party i might have to get a little minion rock throw on a t-shirt or

01:02:32something

01:02:33i love that thing as you see parnell came in to try and help but the monster going in and

01:02:37going in

01:02:38hard with the win that's jam and he is really bringing it today folks uh j party you did uh

01:02:47lie to

01:02:48everybody and say that he promised a five uh in a row win yeah which is now might be the

01:02:54truth j

01:02:55party or less route yeah so there you go it'll turn uh you into a truth sayer apparently whatever

01:02:59i say comes true i like exciting news for my future say some good stuff about me j party we'll

01:03:05see all

01:03:05right here we go player progression you're seeing on the screen there you're seeing a lot of this stuff

01:03:09that uh we haven't been able to show yet uh until we were able to show uh the full build

01:03:14here and this

01:03:15is what you guys are going to get on the launch day uh is uh the potential of these three

01:03:21groups of

01:03:21hunters these three monsters um and the what you're seeing here being able to unlock these character

01:03:27masteries um and so it's pretty exciting to show this stuff and to be able to finally talk about all

01:03:32these things and show it for what it is here on the stream and let these animals uh as we

01:03:39don't

01:03:40actually call the capture team because that wouldn't be very nice uh but let this capture team these guys

01:03:44play the game every day let them come in here and show what they have you know learned and taught

01:03:50themselves playing the game every day and bringing that to an all-out battle we we did i i told

01:03:56them

01:03:57today coming in just let it let it all hang loose like just bring your a game don't think about

01:04:02anything except you know playing your best game and and showing the world what you guys got and i think

01:04:08they're doing a pretty good job of that today uh jam though with the upper hand so far yeah doing

01:04:13a

01:04:13great job here 4-0 going into the final map and a lot of advantages now in his favor here

01:04:17we'll see what

01:04:18they can do this mode definitely the most unique of everything gonna see a lot of strange things

01:04:22going on for the folks who haven't seen it i know there's a lot to take in particularly on this

01:04:25mode

01:04:26as there's a lot of ai minions coming to help destroy these power objectives yeah so a couple of

01:04:31objectives before the final objective that the uh hunters have to defend and the monster tries to

01:04:37break through uh once they get in there uh and the monster uh starts taking down those objectives uh

01:04:43these uh force field like doors will come down and they'll move on from section to section uh this

01:04:48is your sort of tower defense mode if you will jay party uh that we're going to see here i'm

01:04:52excited

01:04:53to see how they bring it so jay party the hunters here are not down and out all they have

01:04:57working

01:04:58against them right now are the armored minions none of those other map effects are going to come into

01:05:02play here so it's not all is lost they could turn this around and they could win this yeah absolutely

01:05:07here that's some interesting stuff we're finally seeing the kraken here yes first time on the final stage

01:05:11here and another interesting fact the monster actually starts at the final level stage three

01:05:15so he's coming in hot here on this mode we're going to see a lot of destruction coming in quickly

01:05:19nicely

01:05:20done jay party i'm going to walk down into the basement now let's take a little walk here

01:05:26i think we did that great man we are like masters of green screen technology jay party

01:05:31yeah we've still got to factor in our explosions and weather effects still and perhaps even the sticky

01:05:35taco at some point during this stream sticky taco making his appearance finally the

01:05:41kraken making his uh appearance here i'd like to see how this hunter team handles the kraken

01:05:47we're seeing the trapper here she's going to be laying down those harpoon traps uh what do we have

01:05:53here jay party we've got maggie with the harpoon traps on trapper we've got bucket with the sentry guns

01:05:58so two-thirds of the trap team uh and we have part excuse me hide on assault he's going to

01:06:05be bringing big

01:06:05damage and then perfect choice for not only this uh mode jay party in my opinion but also against the

01:06:13kraken you've got val yeah val such a strong medic the first medic and just the core of the whole

01:06:17medic squad here that sniper rifle so effective in those tranquilizers just so strong and keeping tabs

01:06:22on the monster and slowing him down just a very annoying character and particularly strong against

01:06:27this kraken and so so medic as you can see here with the sniper rifle uh is using that sniper

01:06:35rifle

01:06:35to uh take down the minions or at least help the team to do that uh he was focusing one

01:06:42minion then

01:06:42the other minion one minion then the other minion putting those weak spots on and as you can see the

01:06:47uh that first generator uh doesn't have a lot of damage to it because the rest of the team was

01:06:53able to

01:06:54to do a lot of damage on those minions take them down early and as you can see then he

01:06:58went uh to

01:06:59the kraken started to get some weak spots on the kraken got the tranq in the kraken which forced the

01:07:04kraken down to the ground and had to back up to get more armor they've really got the kraken on

01:07:08the

01:07:08ropes here yes val doing such a good job here on this command tower here the sniper medic such a

01:07:12fun

01:07:12combination a cool character you know i really like this team as i'm looking across the board here at

01:07:16the selections here particularly this assault class hide i never would have thought about it you know he really

01:07:20does possess some of the strongest aoe attacks for an assault class that flamethrower gonna do his

01:07:24damage across all the monsters he connects with allowing him to take down many of these tiny

01:07:28minions just so quickly and he's also going to be able to work well with val because he's going to

01:07:32be

01:07:32able to use the flamethrower and the toxic grenade for that damage over time but then he's also going

01:07:38to be able to utilize those weak spots with the mini gun which the medic's doing a great job of

01:07:42painting on the uh minions and look how fast they're going down j party these are armored minions the

01:07:47monster won the last round they're doing a great job of taking them down as you can see

01:07:51up in the left hand corner uh there's a minion countdown this is going to tell you when the

01:07:55minions are coming in but also uh there's a hunter win countdown as well uh the hunters are basically

01:08:01just trying to keep the monster from destroying the power source to the evacuation ship so as long as

01:08:08the hunters keep the monster away from that they can win this round they do not have to kill the

01:08:12monster

01:08:12to win three minutes and 39 seconds left on that timer so you're seeing that if they can hold off

01:08:19this monster and minions for that much time they will win if the monster gets through that first

01:08:24area some time will be added to the clock as db might have mentioned here that's three sections

01:08:29this is the first but two more to follow here the hunter's looking good so far the monster will not

01:08:34be

01:08:34able to regenerate health he is already at stage three so this damage is permanent and this is so

01:08:39important to them they need to get as much as they can on the kraken not a strong character if

01:08:43they

01:08:43can wear him down his first generator they're going to have an easy time with the future objectives here

01:08:46comes a big lightning strike though on hide does really good damage gets hide down to half health

01:08:51trying to focus him here now as the uh minions come in and start to do damage the medic still

01:08:58up in

01:08:58that high perched area doing a really great job of getting those weak spots on keeping the team healed

01:09:04but finally here that first generator is going to go down uh and the medic tries to come in and

01:09:09help

01:09:09but as the generator is destroyed he falls through it and the uh monster and the minions are moving

01:09:15their way through and this cross is in such a dangerous time as both squads here the monster

01:09:20trying to beeline to the second objective as fast as he can here wants to get away from the hunters

01:09:23while the hunters do their best to try to stay together look at that j party the dome they get

01:09:27the dome

01:09:28off such good play by the trapper immediately throws the dome when that when that first objective goes down

01:09:32forces kraken to stay with them and that was such a smart play gonna save them a ton of damage

01:09:36and hopefully

01:09:37allow them to get some real damage off a completely trapped kraken and a lot of time too j party

01:09:41is

01:09:42gonna keep them away from the generator momentarily uh and kill some time on that very big clock the clock

01:09:49up to six minutes now with the added time after the second generator yeah this can be hard their time's

01:09:55going

01:09:55too quick here but they've gotten some real damage on the kraken here if they can keep this up do

01:09:59as much on the second objective

01:10:00as they do on the first hopefully they can wear them down as the final ship is going to have

01:10:04a lot of

01:10:04armored turrets around it they're going to allow them to get a lot of extra help from the ai the

01:10:09hunters

01:10:10utilizing and taking full advantage of this cave here as you see the monster is trying to do the same

01:10:17thing with the big lightning strike but they are really keeping together they're trying to do as much

01:10:21damage as they can down under three bars of health the monster finally on the move yeah with no armor

01:10:26he

01:10:27needs to eat as quickly as possible but those hunters are going to be right behind him he's only going

01:10:30to have a couple

01:11:18yeah it's about time we started actually getting able to play evolve and not just listen to us talk

01:11:22about it super excited for things to start coming out super excited to test these betas see what the world

01:11:27has to do that's always the most exciting part of the game is that you intend it to be played

01:11:30you

01:11:30design it you work it you have an intended plan and then everyone gets their hands on it and

01:11:34completely turns the game on its head and makes up a holding strategy and that's what i'm super

01:11:37pumped for i'm really excited for that as well i'm excited for the opportunity to uh stream some

01:11:43of that action as well j party in the future uh and see everybody's different takes on this game

01:11:49and like you said how they uh play the game and how they actually get their teams together

01:11:55uh in the way that the capture team has done today doing so far a good job here

01:12:00on jam here on the second generator though about to fall and those armored minions are doing work

01:12:05yeah they're just so durable here even with those weak spots they just can't get enough damage on them

01:12:09and jam wasting no time here no mercy he's moving ahead of the squad trying to get the objective three

01:12:14here wants to get ahead of the squad so we can actually get the damage off before they can defend

01:12:18it

01:12:19j party tier one and two hunters as well goliath and kraken are in all of the tests xbox one

01:12:26pc and

01:12:26ps4 will have all of those and you have to unlock them through the standard games progression system

01:12:32just like the retail version evolved in the beta you'll start with tier one hunters and goliath and

01:12:37play to unlock the other characters j party how quickly are you gonna unlock those other characters

01:12:43oh very quickly here absolutely my favorite monster is the third unlock so i'm gonna have a lot of work

01:12:48cut out from here as i work through the life and work through kraken on my way to the rave

01:12:52definitely a lot of fun though you gotta earn yourself a rave j party down here at the final

01:12:57objective this is the big power supply power source to the evacuation ship you can see there are four

01:13:03turrets guarding that one of them looks like it's already down already two actually wow i know and that

01:13:08was that thing you just got so ahead of the hunters they couldn't defend their turrets here bucket

01:13:12trying to get his little mini turrets up here but they're gonna need a lot more firepower to defend

01:13:15from this kraken yeah so far so good for the monster he's at half health like you said that is

01:13:20permanent damage so they can keep working on him as he gets hide cornered here uh they might be able

01:13:26to take uh that damage down some more j party this really could go either way right now yeah losing

01:13:31hide always an upsetting thing but this is not a standard mode here there's not the two minute dropship timer

01:13:36he's gonna be coming right back into this fight a lot quicker here j party look at that that is

01:13:40an elite

01:13:41crowbill sloth the monster is about to eat it and that's going to be a damage bonus j party that's

01:13:47going to be huge here in this final fight they want to see that display up there for all the

01:13:52hunters

01:13:52to view there and they know that that is not a good thing here everyone crouching across the board

01:13:56those lightning strikes you thought they heard before are going to be single-shotting hunters at this

01:14:00point they need to really watch out keep spread out and try to get as much damage as they can

01:14:04on this

01:14:04kraken who does not have a lot of armor for those of you not up to date on evolve today

01:14:09we announced that

01:14:09wraith and the tier 3 hunters are available to play exclusively in the xbox one open beta if you

01:14:15decide to throw down the 60 dollars and pre-purchase evolve regardless of whether you decide to pre-purchase

01:14:21though everyone can unlock wraith and tier 3 hunters in the full retail version of the game simply by

01:14:26playing we just wanted a way to reward xbox beta players for deciding to buy the game so we're giving

01:14:31them wraith and tier 3 hunters right then and there on the spot if you decide to pre-purchase evolve

01:14:37after the open beta you will instantly unlock wraith and tier 3 hunters when you pick up the game at

01:14:42launch saving you the valuable time and potentially facing j party more than you want to in the game

01:14:48absolutely as i grind out my way to get to the final tier monsters here and db back to this

01:14:53game at

01:14:53hand here a sudden change in the winds here as the monster going on in on the final objective and

01:14:57not

01:14:58getting the damage off he wanted he tried to focus foul as he was getting wailed on by those bucket

01:15:01sentries

01:15:02as well as the other ones and suddenly he's at an incredible low amount of health yeah super low

01:15:06amount of health and the power source still with a lot of health to it j party as these armor

01:15:12and

01:15:12minions are doing good damage they need to focus that minion get them down as the monster at the

01:15:17moment oh snuck around j party the monster's there they're dealing with the minions out in the front

01:15:21the monster is behind doing damage and look at that power source fall i don't know if they know he's

01:15:25there i don't think so either look at them they're focusing so hard on the monsters as they have to

01:15:29here

01:15:29but finally someone notices that that's vamp there their support member they need to get

01:15:34those turrets up they need their assault class to get in there not a lot of health left on the

01:15:37kraken they can definitely take them down but they need to get that focus and as i mentioned before

01:15:42just like the regular pre-order if you pre-purchase evolve on xbox one you get the monster expansion

01:15:47pack which includes the fourth playable monster that comes out as dlc sometime after the game launches

01:15:52as i also mentioned before uh we are going to be sharing lots of juicy news about that dlc next

01:16:27man can't quite believe himself there as he lets his guard down wow goes in for the final push there

01:16:34and such a smart play by the trapper finally throwing that arena when they need it and they force

01:16:38them into that last fight with very little health j party mind blown on that one what a great what

01:16:43a great

01:16:44uh full round of evacuation so uh i appreciated these guys playing the game today uh working

01:16:50through those moments where they had to rely on on a bot here and there but as we mentioned uh

01:16:55when

01:16:55someone falls out of the game or you know loses internet connection or uh whatnot um you you have

01:17:02that bot jump in for you it saves your space in the game you can jump right back in these

01:17:06guys jumped right

01:17:06back in and pulled it off yeah i can't believe amazingly enough you saw that power source uh

01:17:12dropping drastically um and then they came back in and won jay partner i'm gonna be right back i'm
