00:03This patch and the features in it will be released to everyone alongside Pillars of
00:08Eternity The White March Part 1.
00:10This video will detail some of the new features and options being added to the game.
00:15Like all of our previous patches, this patch will also include bug fixes and balance changes.
00:24First up is Party AI.
00:25You will now have the option to enable AI behavior for your party members.
00:30You can toggle AI on and off by selecting the new button on the character action bar.
00:35You can choose what type of AI behavior you want to use by right-clicking the new icon
00:40or opening the menu from the character sheet.
00:43There are a variety of AI behavior options available to each class, and there's also
00:48an option to enable them to use per rest abilities.
00:52While the AI is active, your party members will select targets, spells, and abilities automatically,
00:58and you won't need to micromanage them.
01:00However, you can override the AI at any time with your own input.
01:08Solo Stealth You can now select which individual party members
01:12go into or out of stealth.
01:15When one of your party members is spotted, your entire party won't be forced out of stealth.
01:20At the start of combat, you now have the option to sneak some of your party members around to
01:24get into the perfect position.
01:31Next is Spell Range Indicators.
01:34We have a new UI option being added that shows the range of your spells, abilities, and attacks.
01:39It should be easier to tell how close your wizard needs to be to cast a spell, or what distance
01:45your ranger can maintain from a foe.
01:52Last up is Accuracy Indicators.
01:55We now have an option to show accuracy over heads of enemies when you select them for an
01:59attack.
02:00This will give you more information about how difficult a particular enemy might be.
02:05It'll also show you how likely you are to hit a friendly target with a spell that hits
02:08everyone in its area of effect.
02:12Remember, all these features will be available whether or not you buy the expansion.
