01:32Grazie a tutti.
01:34Grazie a tutti.
02:36Grazie a tutti.
03:33il pre-battletto panel, qui si può vedere che questo è praticamente un whitewash
03:37given the weakened Dwarf garrison.
03:38Abbiamo anche speduto alcuni turns building siege equipment
03:40per aiutare il siege.
03:43Muska ha anche won alcune magie banners
03:45in previous battles, che possiamo applicare
03:46sull'unità in il pre-battletto screen,
03:48quindi possiamo buffere alcuni dei suoi con alcuni
03:51combat bonus.
03:56Ok, abbiamo avuto-resolvato in questo play-through,
03:59as a lot to get through and, as predicted,
04:01this was a pretty cut-and-dried affair.
04:08Now we have these nice pop-ups detailing
04:10exactly what you gain from the battle as well
04:12including loot and XP.
04:13Post battle we have the usual array of options
04:15with what to do with the settlement
04:17but we're aiming to expand our holdings here
04:18so we're going to occupy Karas Kadrin.
04:26Now the city is ours and you can see that the green skins
04:59and here's Azag the Slaughterer, one of our legendary lords
05:02so we'll come back to him in a second and have a closer look but first we're
05:05going to take a look at Karak Dras
05:06or Black Crag to give it its orc title. As you can see we own all three
05:11settlements in this province and Iron Rock is worth a quick look actually
05:13you can see just how characterful these settlements really are with a settlement
05:17clinging to the remaining side
05:18of an old volcano, a suitably orky place to call home not least
05:21as it's yet another foothold in dwarf territory. Back to Karak Dras now and you
05:27can see the kind of iconic style we're going for with our building icons so
05:30we've got this very clear categorisation of the different building branches
05:33let's just build some defences here for now
05:40and diving into the building browser here we can see the complete green skin
05:43construction tree again with clear categorisation between structure types
05:46such as military support military recruitment and so on. We're also aiming
05:52to make the benefits each building brings as clear as possible so if we look at
05:55the muster fields here you can see precisely the unit types unlocks for
05:58recruitment which is really useful for army planning
06:02say I want to recruit giants into my armies and who wouldn't let's face it I
06:05can instantly see by their unit cards that I need to build a stomping ground
06:08with troll caves as a prerequisite along with a level 5 encampment structure
06:15we're also aiming for clarity with our tech trees and the green skin techs
06:18available in the goblin workshop are uniquely aggressive most bring
06:22improvements to various unit types in battle as the goblin tinkers nail metal
06:25plates spikes or bigger wheels onto things improving melee attacks charge
06:30bonuses and that sort of thing there's a couple of high tier unit unlocks here too
06:34in the shape of the arachnarrots spider and the doom diver but for now we're
06:37just going to improve our chariots by hammering bigger wheels onto them
06:45now each races tech tree works in a very different way so for example the
06:48dwarfs focus on both civic and military structures while Empire actually need to
06:52build certain buildings to unlock parts of their tech tree right let's take a
06:57look at Azag and as a legendary Lord he's uniquely skilled and powerful we've
07:02already unlocked his crown of sorcery which gives him access to the law of
07:05death magic which makes him a potent combination of general melee warrior and
07:08spellcaster diving into the skill trees now and all lords have three core skill
07:14trees campaign skills which improve their performance on the map battle
07:18skills which improve the performance of the various troop types in their army
07:21and character skills which enhance their personal fighting ability and this
07:25branch here is the law of death are knocked by Azag's crown of sorcery and you
07:29can see summaries of all the skill effects along the side here
07:37characters now have 30 skill levels and the skill trees are therefore way way
07:41deeper than we've had before activate all battle abilities live here and with even
07:46more advanced skills beyond legendary lords like Azag can also spend skill
07:50points to unlock their unique personal quest chains now these kick off multi
07:54stage quests that then culminate in epic handcrafted quest battles rewarding
07:58them with a unique legendary gear they get in the tabletop game they can also
08:01unlock mounts here so let's unlock skull muncher and if we head back to the
08:05campaign map we'll see Azag mounted on his favorite pet Wyvern which is
08:09obviously going to absolutely transform the way you use him in battle
08:17now there's a pesky dwarf army on our turf here so let's put skull muncher to
08:20good use it's a pretty even fight here the dwarf lord there is well equipped with magic
08:24items too so let's go ahead and auto resolve and see how we do
08:37okay close victory now there's those loot pop-ups again and this time we've
08:41rolled lucky and won a pigeon pluck a pendant an area effect melee debuff for
08:45Azag so that's now hanging proudly around his big green neck
09:03okay we're going to head into the mountains now and take a closer look at
09:05one of our goblin armies who in true goblin fashion have got themselves into
09:10something of a pickle
09:26so Clubber Spitebacker here and his weakened army have rather inadvisably got
09:30themselves trapped behind the volcano and sandwiched between two rather well
09:34appointed dwarf armies as we can see by their movement range there's just no way
09:37past
09:42but there is a way under if we use the enter underway stance Clubber will locate a
09:46local entrance to the ancient dwarf and underway and will get the option to
09:50tunnel beneath the obstacles and extend his movement range
09:58dwarfs can use this ability too but for both races there's always a risk of
10:02interception by nearby enemy armies which would then initiate a subterranean
10:05ambush battle
10:07interception innovation can both be improved in your old skill trees
10:20over to the pillar of bone again now and we're going to take a look at another
10:22one of our goblin lords who's having problems of a different order
10:32now Grom Bogrof here has been a naughty goblin neglecting the needs of his army
10:36all greenskins need to fight it's in their blood and that's reflected by their
10:40fightiness rating here
10:42now these guys haven't fought anyone for a while so their fightiness has dropped
10:45too quarrelsome and below this particular threshold
10:48they begin suffering animosity which means that in the absence of an external
10:51target they start fighting amongst themselves and reducing their own
10:54number but there is stuff we can do to improve that
10:57if we order Grom to set up a raiding camp here the army will get busy with
11:01banditry preying on travelers and looting the surrounding region
11:04now this makes them happier and puts their fightiness back on the rise but it
11:07really is a key greenskin stance as there's a number of benefits
11:10not least that this is a principal form of income for the race
11:14the units in the army will also begin replenishing and from a raiding camp
11:17Grom can also access global recruitment this means he can order in units even
11:21when far from any greenskin settlements
11:23units recruited like this cost more and they take longer to arrive than those
11:27recruited locally but what all this adds up to is a uniquely aggressive race
11:32this stance means that the greenskin armies can operate deep within enemy
11:35territory fighting retreating sustaining themselves raising capital
11:39replenishing recruiting and forging ahead once more on their own paths of
11:42destruction
11:52now as you might imagine there are great benefits to having a high fightiness rating
11:55as well and if we head north to border prince's territory
11:57we're going to demonstrate this with Grimgor Ironhide our second legendary lord
12:23now Grimgor's doing really well here he's been fighting advancing and winning so his army's
12:27fightiness is through the roof when it hits this upper threshold the army will initiate a
12:32war this will inspire another war boss to appear on the scene and join Grimgor's cause and he will
12:38bring an army with him now war armies are ai controlled and will shadow the parent army around the map
12:43supporting them in attack and defense until the army is destroyed or the parent army's fightiness
12:47drops below the war threshold
12:52we can also give the war army limited orders such as attacking ackendorf here the army will then do its
12:58level best to raise the place to the ground
13:04now this madly gyrating fellow is one of our shaven heroes and we've deployed him in this region here
13:09to perform something called magical interference now he's busy sucking the winds of magic out of the air
13:14right now which will reduce the amount that enemy armies will have access to if they fight us here
13:19of course we can also attach heroes to armies so he will appear as a spell cast unit in battle
13:24and Grimgor is going to need his services so we're going to do just that
13:28right we're going to take Grimgor towards Blackfly Pass here as he's nearing the end of one of his
13:32personal quest chains and the location of the final quest battle in that chain is marked here by this blue
13:36floating icon
13:39if we click the marker we can see the details of the quest with a little narrative background and the
13:43reward
13:43in this case some bonus xp and gitsnik Grimgor's legendary axe it's pretty tasty too with a major armor piercing
13:49buff
13:55we can also examine the army that will be arrayed against us and it is fairly substantial with a
14:00warrior priest a celestial wizard some great swords plenty of infantry artillery and an altogether terrifying steam tank
14:10but we're going to save that battle for another day for now we're going to take
14:13one final flight across the rest of the campaign map
14:23through Blackfire Pass now and we're entering proper empire territory and towards Reikland which
14:27is Carl Franz's domain and in fact there he is on deathclaw guarding against a green skin army
14:33now that little swirly effect you see is a tempest of magic which should make for lively spellcasting in
14:38this area we can also see some other green skin tribes here striking deep into the lands of men
14:44up through the grey mountains we can see some more dwarf strongholds to the right there
14:47and through the pass into Bastogne and the lands of Bretonnia
14:50and here we can see a vampire count who's invested this region spreading his blight
15:01and physically transforming the terrain with his dark vampiric influence
15:12up over the sea of claws now towards pack ice bay and ahead lies norska a bitterly inhospitable region
15:18populated by the vicious and chaos influenced norse tribes army traveling here will suffer attrition but
15:23that's probably the least of their worries given how close the region is to the chaos wastes
15:27and the terrors that it's gearing up to spew forth
15:39right heading back down south now we're returning to the area of the world's edge mountains and again
15:43you can really see how the environment changes and the atmosphere alters as you move between different
15:47regions
15:56okay that's pretty much the end of our tour of the old world for now and just a brief window
15:59on green skin gameplay we're going to be examining the other races in a bit more detail in future
16:04as they have plenty of their own unique gameplay mechanics now we'll be hosting a developer live
16:09stream next week more details on that soon but do tune in if you've got any questions and we'll do
16:13our best to answer them
16:54we'll see you next week
