48:54one they've got a second hand one in a shop 100 pound less if we knew there was other options
48:58obviously we would have gone for them but we were under strict time slash location difficulties but
49:02it's using an initiative mate if you go in a shop which only has one sup they're obviously going to
49:06put the price up because they can't compare you can't compare it to any others you know you like
49:09we've seen in this process you have to walk away sometimes if we walked away we'd have had six items
49:14you spent an hour in a goat's pen you guys had time to enjoy drinks we were out there running

49:18the streets there's a complete mismatch of your lads day out versus our tactical and reasonable decisions

49:54quid for it yeah so I literally with the project manager he said 30 percent I went in at what

50:01almost exactly 30 percent um the guy came back and said 12 uh or a bit more than that and

50:08eventually agreed on 12 um yeah Karishma what did you get off on the donuts so I think we got
50:13around
50:1328 percent off the first mentioned price do you think the 30 percent constraint that this he put
50:20on you really cramped your style I'm a little bit naturally like with negotiations I'm a bit more
50:25aggressive with them so we would we were doing our best with these numbers but we were capped at this
50:3030 percent one of you or at least one of you is going today where do you think the responsibility

50:37here I think the failure lies with Lawrence and the PM ultimately we failed this task because we didn't
50:41receive enough items we got seven they got eight our team secured four your team secured three yeah

52:50think the thing is there was no there's no there's nothing to compare it to so they could put any
52:54figure they want on it use your initiative if it's the only one look for others to compare it to
52:58we simply didn't have the time and I think we did have the time it was midday you could have
53:02walked
53:02away we could we could have walked away absolutely but then I think there's other places on the island
53:06that you could have got to we were always talking about time we need to be on time there's a
53:10lot of
53:10items to get throughout the day I think you know it showed we had three items by lunch they had
53:15one
53:15so you think if you weren't petting goats for an hour you could have got either the sweets or the
53:19black cassette honestly I was actually very scared of the goats and didn't pay any of them
53:22but you need to get away from this little lads holiday that you think we had and rather that we
53:27actually got a better negotiation than any of yours lord sugar and with this I think we obviously the
53:34sup was expensive I'm not going to lie about that that obviously was expensive but we had to make
53:37the executive decision whether we get it from that shop or risk not getting it at all you also spent
53:41more than twice what the other team did on the mock limb where yeah absolutely we did not have time
53:47to go to another shop to get it um okay so I've got to decide which one of you uh
53:54is leaving today
53:56so why shouldn't I fire you Connor I think my biggest challenge over this process has been to
54:01prove myself as a viable business candidate and if you go back to both discount buying tasks I was
54:05the person on both teams who received the highest percentage discount in both marketplaces both the
54:09flowers and the food I was the highest seller of the day why shouldn't I fire you uh Kieran
54:15Lord sugar you said to me on week two when I told you I'm not a children's book writer you
54:21said I'm
54:21looking for someone to adapt I think from the person I was then to who I am now I've definitely
54:27adapted I've proved to you that I'm not just the typical estate agent yeah why shouldn't I fire you
54:34I think Lord sugar I've really grown throughout the process I've shown a lot of progress but also some
54:39good results I did a good negotiation I believe on that sup and I agree there are other subs on
54:44the
54:44island 100% right well look I'm it's very very hard really um Kieran um to be fair this is
54:53nowhere near
54:53the disaster it was uh in Hong Kong um it does show how I've adapted as well Lord sugar well
54:59I don't know
55:00if it does I mean uh you didn't win if you would have won I would have said yeah you've
55:08adapted yeah
55:09um Connor you're a good talker but um the sweets you should have gone and got them it's as simple

55:17that and Harry um you know midday you should have walked away Harry you should have walked away and
55:26found another vendor but um Kieran I gave you two cracks at the whip and you fouled on both occasions
55:37and for that reason um you kind of give me a dilemma um do I like your character do I
