00:42of special blitzes prepared. We're going to talk about our hype list. I've got five.

03:57honestly, I don't care about your bracket. So you can save that for another show. I

04:04Hey, want to see my fantasy team, but I would like to know when the brackets got
04:12announced and you saw who was all in your region for Michigan and Michigan state
04:17fans. What did you think? Was it, Oh, we're F or, you know what? We got this. We
04:24could actually pull this thing off or my goodness, that second round matchup is
04:30going to be something. Cause that that's where I was. I looked and I saw States draw
04:34and I'm like, okay, you knew you were going to be in Duke's bracket because
04:38they're always in Duke's bracket. I mean, Duke's region. I don't know why, but
04:42then it was like, okay, well St. John's is the five. Wow. Well, if St. John's is
04:49the five who just won the big East, who are the other people? And then it was
04:53okay. Well, Kansas is the four MSU is the three UConn is the two. Like, wow. On, on the
05:00surface, it looks like that's a very difficult bracket, but you know, that's
05:04really, if you look at the programs, all those programs are struggling Kansas. Hey,
05:08is my star player going to play or not? If he doesn't, then it's not, or not
05:13Michigan state and UConn both stumbled towards the end of the season. So it's
05:19like, okay, Duke's minus two players. So you're looking at it like, okay, is St.
05:24John's the best team in that bracket? But I think that was going to be fun. I
05:28looked at Michigan's bracket and I just, I chuckled a little bit, David, when I
05:34saw that one of the teams that they could be playing is a, was a UMBC?
05:39UMBC has to play in the play-in, yes. Right. So I chuckled a little bit. For
05:42anybody who followed, that's a team that upset the number one Nebraska. But other
05:47than that, it was, I said for Michigan, I think the toughest game that you would
05:53have would be potentially your sweet 16 game against Alabama because, well, I
06:00think that's going to just be a tough draw because Alabama is just going to
06:02shoot a ton of threes. So what I saw that, but I like, if they can make it past
06:06that, then I had to sweat a little bit. Cause I'm like, Mike's maybe winning this
06:10bet. I listen to the better side. My problem in all of this is I have a belief
06:17that one of the teams is capable of winning a national championship. No, I don't
06:20think it looks as easy as it was going to be before the case on injury, but I
06:25think Michigan can still do this. I have 0% faith MSU can even make the final
06:31four. I forget about it. I mean, like, look, there's what I want to happen. And
06:38then what I feel like will happen. And now this is important. You made a point
06:43last week that we never got to fully investigate and it wasn't even about
06:46college groups, but it was about sports in general. And you go, Mike, can you
06:52enjoy something if there's not nothing on the line? And I said, no, at this stage
06:58of my life, there has to be something on the line that that's why regular season
07:03NBA is such a farce or the day in day out minutia of baseball. While I love
07:09baseball, I don't overreact to much anymore with college basketball. Here's
07:15where I'm at with the money, with this turning into the pros, this would be the
07:20equivalent as a state fan. I feel like I'm a Toronto Raptors fan. They're in the
07:26playoff and they're a decent ball club. They're nowhere close to the elite. Yes,
07:31they popped the Pistons last night, but that's the Pistons aren't elite. Gotcha.
07:36Like it's like knowing you have no hope of if you're in the West and you're not
07:41Denver or San Antonio or OKC, what's the point? You can't beat those teams.

08:16it makes it a little bit different because yes, when you're playing a seven game series,
08:20you're allowed two games where you can go out there and just absolutely stink and still
08:24win it four games to two. It doesn't change a little bit with the whole one and done
08:29format for you because I think that it does. Look, I look at this tournament. I see about
08:3515 teams that if you told me they were cutting down the nets, I'd be like, huh, I can see
08:40that. If you told me Kansas, Kansas just won the national title. Oh, the freshman played.
08:44Okay. I can see that. Yeah. Wouldn't be shocked. So where you're like, and I could say, yeah,
08:50Michigan State played. Wow. They finally hit threes. Huh? All right. Not that shot.

09:08much anymore is the draw. Oh, the draw is difficult. The draw is easy. Every year we do this,
09:15you're going to have to beat somebody good sometime and someone who's good ends up not being good.

09:33See, let me, I want to offer something else. Expectations about the NCAA tournament, where
09:39I'm at today versus where I used to be. I used to just be championship or bust. And although there's
09:45a level of that for me, I could pathway something for state where I'd go, Hey, hell of a run.
09:50They're just not good enough for Michigan. That's the hard part because they've already
09:55hung a banner and I don't think anybody's going to be pumped up about a final second one.
10:00They should have. They should have been by an Amish point guard. The point is Michigan.
10:05It should be championship or bust. I said that a long time ago. And a lot of people got angry

10:23able to talk March madness. Let's have some fun here. I'm not asking you to be basketball
10:27elite, right? I'm not asking you to know five 12 upset. Yeah. I'm not interested. I don't
10:34care about your bracket picks either. I just want to know Michigan to Michigan state, the
10:38baseline to happiness. Yeah. Tell me what these teams have to do to make you happy. They finish
10:45here. And you know what? I'll tip my cap and say, okay, job. Well done. Better job by
