00:00A man has been convicted of more than 40 offences committed against 5 victims following a Leeds
00:06safeguarding investigation. 62-year-old Paul Benstock was found guilty following a trial
00:12at Leeds Crown Court of a number of sexual offences and physical assaults against both
00:18adult and child victims, including 14 counts of rape. The offences took place between 1998
00:24and 2020 when one of the victims came forward to the police. Benstock from East Ardsley
00:31was also identified as being involved in the making of indecent images of children.
00:36He has been remanded in custody to appear again at Leeds Crown Court on the 14th of August for sentencing.
