Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen says she has told US officials not to underestimate the possibility of war in the Taiwan Strait. Lu is on an 11-day trip to the United States, where she has met with officials at the American Institute in Taiwan headquarters in Virginia, US lawmakers and members of the local Taiwanese business community.
