07:50Questo è un'obbioso wino, e siamo iniziati l'amber, quindi possiamo autoresolverlo.
07:58Ora, possiamo either occupy through seeding, o raise the tan.
08:01Occupation will give us the amber, ma raising will give us a lot of money.
08:05Colonization costs are extreme for the wood elves,
08:07so taking the money now and colonizing later wouldn't be viable.
08:11While wood elves occupy settlements in tans,
08:13they're really only establishing lookouts to protect the amber there.
08:16As such, tans don't go higher than tier 1 and can only get one building slot.
08:21This is why my now 14 settlements aren't really fixing my income problem.
08:25We're able to build 4 different types of buildings by default.
08:29Zvorak has marble available here, so we're able to build a stonecutter if we wish.
08:32A waystone will give us a garrison and extra replenishment, ideal for frontier settlements.
08:37A world route pathway grants reduction in recruitment cost by minus 30%.
08:41This effectively allows you to use global recruitment for the cost of normal recruitment.
08:45Sacrificial Grounds is a faction-wide military buff building,
08:48and Foraging Grounds is a faction-wide economic buff building.
08:51Building many of these across your faction has stacking effects,
08:54allowing you to reap large benefits with scale.
08:57Now we've got our amber, we can take a look at the tech tree.
08:59On the inner lanes, the technologies work as they do for most factions,
09:03providing buffs over time and possibly requiring buildings.
09:06The outer lanes, however, require amber,
09:08and provide massive buffs that change your campaign drastically.
09:12Mathlan, Lord of the Deeps, for instance, grants 400% income from ports,
09:16and diplomatic relations with Tilia, Estalia, Border Princes, and Norscan tribes.
09:20So let's spend the amber to get that technology.
09:22Now, while I've ultimately destroyed or am at war with those factions,
09:26I have stolen their ports, and that income bonus will be huge.
09:30With coastal towns that have ports, you'll be unable to build any buildings in these towns,
09:35so they should be viewed as smaller income-centric regions
09:38that can be buffed with technologies and trade.
09:40As you may remember, I own about 7 of these coastal towns,
09:43so while spending amber again is a bit dangerous when it's so low,
09:46the reward is potentially very high.
09:49Kingsglade will be your central hub for everything, and provides 10 slots alone.
09:53You'll need to spend amber to upgrade your town to unlock these slots,
09:56but they are a must-have.
09:58If we check the building browser, we can see two new building chains unique to the Wood Elves,
10:02Temples and Athel Loren.
10:05Temples will allow the research of special technologies and provide faction-wide buffs.
10:09Athel Loren's specifics cost 2 amber each, but unlock special seats on the council for your characters to hold,
10:16as well as providing faction benefits.
10:19You'll have to balance what you choose to take in your capital settlement,
10:22as most units require multiple buildings to recruit, and you have a finite amount.
10:26You could always wage war on your Elven Kin and gain a second 10-slot settlement,
10:31or confederate if the option is available to go about it peacefully.
10:35That option is made available when you upgrade the Oak of Ages to Tier 3.
10:45Looking at the council screen, we can see Orion sits as the king in the woods,
10:48with two ranked 10 slots either side.
10:51The Herald of the Hunt is available to us because we've built the Wild Heath already,
10:54and this will allow us to enable the Wild Hunt when we assign it.
10:58Fresh off his victory at Zvorak, we'll get Thil Vakilis to sit...
11:02Wait...
11:02Tree men are not permitted to hold positions on the Elven Council?
11:05What tree racism is this?!
11:07We'll put Tala in that position for now and speak to Durathu about this later.
11:12Now that everyone has moved again, let's end the turn.
11:24Sorry Clan Angrind, you'll have to hold them off yourselves for now.
11:27Hopefully they can last until we're done with the quest battle and border princes and then we'll consider it.
11:33Ah, interesting, Widrioth want to form an alliance.
11:36They're at war with the Crooked Moon right now and have been losing ever so slightly,
11:40so rather sinisterly I'm hoping that they die so I can take back their town for myself.
11:45Ah, so our technology has been researched and now we're comfortably making money,
11:48enough to raise a whole new army if we need to.
11:51It seems however that official mask business has hampered us ever so slightly,
11:54but it'll be a small setback that won't really affect us.
11:58Now, it's finally time to join Israstus and Orion and prepare for battle.
12:02Before we do, we've got Godin, a Waystalker that I've been meaning to upgrade.
12:06This guy is an elite hidden archer on the battlefield with some really cool abilities.
12:11Using his own upgrades, combined with Orion's powerful missile damage augments,
12:15we could make this Waystalker single-handedly take down a Cygor.
12:22I thought it was also worth mentioning that our Tree Man's upgrades work like Orion's in a way,
12:26but aren't as powerful.
12:27You'll need to decide if you want to focus on missile or melee for your battle augments,
12:32so that should demonstrate just how powerful Orion is as he can go down both chains.
12:44Right, so let's merge these guys and retrieve the Horn of the Wild Hunt.
13:03Now that's all for this campaign let's play.
13:05It's also worth mentioning that we played as the Wood Elves with Orion.
13:08You can play as Arguilan under Durthu.
13:11Durthu leans more heavily on the forest tree spirits, so his council doesn't allow elves,
13:15and his amber units are elven.
13:18And yes, it's possible to co-op as both elven factions in both the grand campaign and the mini campaign.
13:24Be sure to subscribe to see what happens next during our Horn of the Wild Hunt battle let's play,
13:29and follow us on social media for all of the latest Total War news.
13:45Thank you.
13:45We are so happy to see what happens next.
13:49But we won't be able to get this one.
