00:21This is breaking news that's just coming in on the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.
00:30Piyush Mishra is joining me on the phone line on the story.
00:33Piyush, the BJP and its allies declared the seat-sharing numbers, isn't it?
00:39Well, that's right. The formula has now been decided in Assam of NDA.
00:44What we are now told is that BJP is going to contest on 89 seats, AGP will be contesting on
00:4926 seats and BPF is going to contest on 11 seats.
00:53And this seat-sharing formula has been decided after multiple rounds of talks would have taken place
00:58between the leadership of all these three big political parties in the state of Assam.
01:02Today, the BJP-CEC meeting will also take place.
01:05And in this BJP-CNP Action Committee meeting, the party is likely to clear the names of all the candidates
01:11on all the seats.
01:13Remember that BJP has decided to contest on 89 seats and the list is going to be cleared today.
01:19And most likely, the list will be out a day after tomorrow in a public forum.
01:24But yes, today, the fact-it-fall is going to happen in the presence of Piyush Marendra Modi and the
01:29BJP-CNP Court of 12.
01:30The BJP co-group will also be present.
01:34All the members of the CEC will be there.
01:35Homeless Ramit Shah, J.T. Nanda, Rishin Nabi, and Rajna Singh, all of them will be there.
01:39And in that meeting, the discussions will take place on the names of candidates.
01:42And that today, the party is going to finalise the names of 89 candidates on which BJP is going to
01:48contest.
01:48And in the last leg of campaigning, Piyush Mishra, the Modi will be holding a series of rallies.
01:53Then, in Assam, we will ensure that BJP again comes to government in this case of Assam.
