ಅಸ್ಸಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ. 2026 ರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಮತ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ 126 ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಆರಂಭಿಕ ಟ್ರೆಂಡ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಬಹುಮತಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಕಿದೆ. ಇತ್ತ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಎರಡಂಕಿ ದಾಟಲು ಒದ್ದಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.
