Quarto diario di sviluppo di Hunt: Showdown, in arrivo nell'Accesso Anticipato di Steam.

00:05I'm an artist like everybody else, and like all artists, man, you want to create an experience
00:08that goes from the game into the player, and these guys are really into your world, and
00:14they're having fun, right? That's what I want, too. And I think early access for our game,
00:18that's the best thing that could ever happen.
00:23This is something we couldn't have done in the past. We collected a lot of feedback every
00:28time we shipped a Crysis game, but then we had to wait another three years in order to
00:31implement it into, like, Crysis 2 or 3. People will play the game, and they will give us
00:35this feedback, and they can look at the experiences they had, and actually tell us about it, and
00:40being able to actually do something about it is the coolest part for me of early access.
00:45And we really have to engage the players, man. I'm completely open-minded. I know that the
00:50designers are open-minded. We just need to get what we have in a presentable stage, and
00:55like, sell it correctly, not over-promise things, just tell it, this is where we are,
01:00this is what we're going to get to.
01:01The experience that we ship represents everything that we want the game to be. It's not just
01:08a tiny chunk of the game, it is the full game loop that we will deliver. Things might not
01:13be as polished as they would be in a final boxed retail product, but obviously once you finalize
01:19something, it is really hard to iterate on it. When you keep it a little bit simpler,
01:24an iteration, a change that the community suggests is a lot easier to do.
01:28Making sure that with the production plans you have, you keep a certain amount of flexibility
01:31to adjust to this, to make sure the community feels respected and listened to and cared about.
01:38And we really have to step up on that thing, because this game will be our game until we release
01:44it, and then it's the players' game. So we're really looking forward to work together
01:48with them and create a hunt that not only we like, but they like too.
