00:00Grazie per la vostra questione.
00:02I will give my best to give you the answers you expect.
00:11You recently partnered with Tencent.
00:14Can you explain a little more about what that means for Ubisoft in China?
00:19It is a very important thing for us in China
00:23because it's going to give a chance to all the games we create
00:27to be present on the Chinese market.
00:30And many of our Chinese employees would love to see those brands successful in China
00:38because when you work on a brand, you want it to be also played by your friends.
00:43So for us, it's a good way to make those brands known on a worldwide basis
00:49and to grow in China, which is very quickly going to be the second market
00:55and maybe one day the first market in the world.
00:58Will Beyond Good and Evil 2 be Ubisoft's biggest project ever?
01:03I really hope so. I think that team has the capacity to create the best game on the planet.
01:11So if we take the time and the energy, we can have something that will be the best game ever
01:19done.
01:20Is there any news around a new Splinter Cell game?
01:26I heard that question a lot during E3.
01:31We don't have something to announce at the moment,
01:35but we heard loud and clear that you like that brand.
01:39This week you made headlines about your quotes about console cycles.
01:45Could you tell us a little more?
01:49Yes, actually what I said is that maybe the next cycle of consoles will happen,
01:57but that there will not be another one.
02:00What we are dreaming at is that technology will allow us to actually stream our games
02:08to all the TVs, mobile phones and tablets in the future,
02:16and that we will be able to give an opportunity to all our brands
02:21to reach 2.5 billion players in five years and maybe five billion players in ten years.
02:28So we are very excited about that new opportunity.
02:33And the other thing is also to be able to use big forms of servers to create games
02:40that we couldn't dream of creating before.
02:44It's been a huge year for Ubisoft in so many ways.
02:48Has history felt any different than those in over the past couple of years?
02:54E3 has been a fantastic history again this year.
02:58The response from all the games we presented was fantastic.
03:03We are so happy we get feedback from all the players all over the world
03:07so that when we come to E3 we can come with games that fit really with what they expect.
03:14This is the second year in a row that Ubisoft highlighted a collaboration with Nintendo.
03:20In the introduction of Star Fox to Starlink, why is Ubisoft's relationship with Nintendo so strong?
03:28And will these types of collaboration continue?
03:31So it is very strong because we have done many things together in the past
03:37and the Nintendo brands and their capacity to create fantastic games is really something that our creators in Ubisoft love.
03:49And when they can collaborate with Nintendo they are extremely happy to do so.
03:55So yes, it will continue and I hope we will be able to surprise you with new things in the
04:01future.
04:01How does this year's E3 line-up reflect Ubisoft's current vision?
04:06I think it's a good reflection of what we like to create.
04:14All the games that were presented are really in the vein of what we want to achieve.
04:20So it's a good reflection of where we are today and we hope to continue to surprise you in the
04:29future.
04:30Ubisoft players' centric approach isn't just about feedback from players but also trying to get them involved in game development.
04:39Why is it important for Ubisoft?
04:41In fact, the more we are the better the experience will be.
04:48So in having the possibility to take your feedback and to give you a chance to create content with the
04:57tools we create
04:58is a good opportunity for all the players to have more diverse experiences and better games.
05:05What is the next step in integrating players' feedback in games?
05:09Does Ubisoft ultimately want to put more tools in players' hands?
05:15So yes, the best way to give you a chance to participate in our games is to give you tools
05:22that are well polished
05:24and that give you a chance to create modes, create maps, to intervene a lot in our games.
05:34This year we saw Rainbow Six Siege and Forerunner in Ubisoft press conference.
05:40What is the future of live games?
05:42I think the future of live games is bright.
05:45If we can continue to give content that is linked to your feedback,
05:52I think we can continue to build those experiences to a point that they become the best experiences in the
05:59video game industry.
06:00So that's our goal today. So continue to give us feedback so that we can improve the experience
06:07and especially make it fit to what you want.
06:10In the area of live games, how does Ubisoft determine when it's time to move on to a full-fledged
06:18sequel?
06:18It's actually a conversation that we have with lots of the fans and also your behaviour in the game.
06:28If we feel that the technology we created for the first game is not giving us a chance to give
06:37you everything you want,
06:39we think it's time to go to the next level. So rebuild the engine so that we can answer all
06:46your needs.
06:48What does the future hold for Ubisoft? What do you think is going to be the next technical breakthrough?
06:54I think the next big thing is going to be the capacity to stream our games to more screens.
07:06And the ability to use all the forms of servers that will be in data centres so that we can
07:13create the ultimate game.
07:16which is a game that will be very alive, responsive to all the actions you do in it, remembering what
07:29you have done and anticipating your needs.
07:32Thank you for your questions. I couldn't answer all of them but I hope that the answers I gave to
07:39the ones I could pick up will satisfy you.
07:44So I hope you had also a great history. It was a fantastic one for me.
