00:00Tehran is not seeking a ceasefire on negotiations with the United States,
00:05says Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqqi,
00:08vowing to defend the country as long as it takes.
00:11In an interview with CBS News, Araqqi says the war will continue
00:15until US President Donald Trump acknowledges
00:18that the conflict is an illegal war with no prospect of victory.
00:24Araqqi also commented on previous negotiations with the United States.
00:29Iran had indicated a willingness to dilute its 60% enriched uranium stockpile
00:34to 20% or below in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions.
00:39However, he claimed those materials are now under the rubble
00:42following strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities
00:45and said Tehran has no plans to recover them.
00:49On the Strait of Hormuz, Araqqi said Iran has not closed the strategic waterway
00:54and remains open to discussions with countries seeking safe passage for their vessels.
00:59But the decision ultimately rests with Iran's military,
01:02which has already allowed some vessels from different countries to pass through the Strait.
