EU to discuss how to keep Strait of Hormuz open, says bloc's foreign chief

European Union member states will discuss potential measures to help keep the Strait of Hormuz open amid rising tensions in the region. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas says it is in the bloc’s interest to ensure the key shipping route remains operational, especially as oil sanctions on Russia ease.
