Today on Unfiltered Stories, our guest Loward Choi shares the how one of his friends sexually assaulted him. Being manipulated by his friend, Loward stayed silent about the assault for a long time. But, when he started to share his story with others, his healing process started. His story shows the importance of speaking up and having a good support system for sexual assault survivors.

00:00Hi, my name is Lorrid, and I'm a survivor of sexual assault.
00:02My family and I, we grew up in Torrance, California.
00:05You know, I'm one of eight kids, so I have seven siblings,
00:08and we just grew up hanging out together,
00:10playing tennis together, going outside, camping.
00:12You know, when I look back and I'm like,
00:14why did I ever decide to go to a college in North Carolina?
00:17Going to college, and it's just this very small,
00:20private Christian school in its own little bubble,
00:23was such a weird experience.
00:25I met my abuser my first semester there, like very early on,
00:29because he was a really close friend of one of my tennis athletes on the team.
00:34And we just had met through that,
00:36and we'll just like give him a fake name and we'll call him Kyle.
00:39So Kyle and I, you know, as friends, he is an upperclassman.
00:42He's, I think he was in his fourth year of college at this point,
00:45and we just kind of hung out,
00:46and he was kind of this cool upperclassman who knew all the people on campus.
00:50He was so confident, like knew where to go and all this stuff,
00:53and just provided us a lot of access to places that otherwise,
00:56like us little first years, like wouldn't have access to.
00:58Yeah, so the first time Kyle had really crossed the line,
01:01he had invited over a couple of friends back to his apartment,
01:04and you're like, hey, like we're going to drink,
01:06like let's do this thing.
01:07And little to me had never had alcohol before,
01:09but I remember like as soon as I had alcohol and I drank it,
01:12I was just like, I just feel so anxious right now.
01:14Like I just need to get out.
01:15Like my skin is crawling.
01:16I just don't feel safe.
01:17And so I just pretended to be asleep.
01:19You know, as the night wears on, everyone's like,
01:20hey, let's just leave Lordwood here.
01:22Kyle, Kyle and one of my teammates, they'll take care of him.
01:25Like it'll be fine and we don't want to take him back to the dorm where he's going to be
01:28drunk
01:28and like get into trouble, all this stuff.
01:30And so it kind of left me.
01:31And so I'm on the floor, like just trying to sleep.
01:33Be like, everyone leave me alone.
01:34I don't feel safe.
01:35I want to go to bed and Kyle picks me up and he's just like,
01:38places me on the couch.
01:39And every time I think about that,
01:41I just feel so light to him in his mind.
01:43I feel like he just like picks me up and puts me like,
01:45I just got, I got to tell you something.
01:46I got to tell you something.
01:47And I'm like, I don't care.
01:47I want to go to bed.
01:48And he's like, I got to tell you something.
01:50I was like, okay, what?
01:51And he like looks at me really intently.
01:52He's like, okay, I'm like, okay, cool.
01:54Thanks for letting me know.
01:55Like this really doesn't change much about our friendship.
01:58And he's like, I'm only telling you because like you're from California.
02:01You would understand, you know what it's like to not be like, feel accepted
02:04and to feel really out of place.
02:06And I was like, okay, like, I really appreciate you telling me.
02:09And like, it's like, but you can't tell anyone.
02:10You can't tell anyone.
02:11Like if the school found out, like, oh my gosh, they would do all these things would happen.
02:15And I was like, okay, like, I'll keep it secret.
02:17Like, geez, relax.
02:18It's not a good deal to me.
02:20But since you guys, I'll keep it safe.
02:22Um, and as we like continue talking, he like reaches over again, like gross me on my,
02:26and I'm just like, whoa, like, it's not okay.
02:29And I like get up and I'm just like immediately just very startled.
02:32And I'm just like, this is very weird.
02:33This is a brand new experience for me.
02:35You know, I'm like, no, you can't do that.
02:37Like, that's not okay.
02:38Like, I didn't give you consent.
02:39That's a boundary.
02:40You don't cross that for friends.
02:41Like what is going on right now?
02:43Um, and I just remember him being like upset and he's like trying to calm me down.
02:46He's like, I'm sorry, but like, you shouldn't, all this stuff.
02:49He's like, you're like homophobic.
02:51You're like, Hey gay people.
02:52That's why you're doing this.
02:52Like, I told you something personal and you're like using it against me.
02:55And I was like, what is, what is happening right now?
02:57Like, I'm really confused because you did something wrong, but I feel like I did something wrong.
03:02Like what is happening right now?
03:03And it, that just kind of continued through the night, but then eventually I just left.
03:07Um, and the next day, you know, we were running to each other and it's like, you know, like,
03:10you can't do that.
03:11Like, you're so like homophobic.
03:13You hate black people.
03:14Like you are just like everyone else who like betrays me.
03:17And I felt so hurt by that.
03:18I was like, oh my gosh, like maybe I am like everyone else.
03:21Maybe I am the bad guy.
03:22And really was just like so conflicted in my head about this person did something wrong
03:27to me, but I feel like I need to make amends for what they did.
03:31It's just such a confusing place to be in the moment and to feel like I'm in the wrong
03:36when you did something wrong.
03:38After some amount of time, you know, he reaches back out and he's like, Hey, like, really sorry
03:41for the way I acted.
03:42I shouldn't have said those things.
03:43Obviously you don't hate gay people.
03:46You don't like hate black people, like all this stuff.
03:47And I'm like, oh, like, thank you.
03:49Like, this feels really nice to hear because I had dismissed that part of myself.
03:52And I was like, maybe I do.
03:54But to be able to hear someone like apologize in genuine, like with a genuine heart is really
03:58like, it really means something.
04:00Um, and so after he had apologized, you know, we're hanging out again and we're friends
04:04again and things go back to just being like casual, cool friends.
04:07So the second time he like crosses the line with me is we're like going back to his apartment.
04:12I think we're just like grabbing something random and we're just like going back and forth
04:15about something like meaningless argument and we're just bantering.
04:18And, you know, out of nowhere, he goes like, Oh, like I hate fighting with you.
04:21And I was like, it's kind of a weird thing to say.
04:23Like, this is a very casual argument.
04:25I don't know why you feel this way.
04:27And he's like, and then he, he like grabs me by the shoulders and he like puts me up
04:30against the wall.
04:31And I'm just like, Oh my gosh, like I do not like being handled this way.
04:34This is not fun.
04:35I'm like really scared.
04:36He's just like a bigger dude than me.
04:38I'm just like, Oh my gosh.
04:39And he puts his arms on the side.
04:40And I'm like, Oh my gosh, I don't feel safe.
04:42Like, am I about to get my, am I about to get beat?
04:44Like, what is it happening right now?
04:45Um, and I just feel so like frozen in place and he like comes in and he kisses me.
04:50And I remember he like pulls away and he's like, you're such a bad kiss.
04:52And I'm like, no, duh.
04:53But again, like I'm trying to stay super calm.
04:56I'm trying to stay super composed because I'm like, I don't know what could happen if
04:58I freak out, if things might get worse.
05:00And so I'm trying to stay super calm.
05:02I'm just trying to be like, okay, like, it's okay.
05:04Like we're going to stay and start our hair.
05:05We're going to put our head down and we're going to get through this.
05:06And then we're going to just figure it out from there.
05:08And I think we had gone to a sporting event and then we had coming back.
05:13And then I just like, excuse myself.
05:14And I was like, Hey, like, I gotta go.
05:16Like, I need to wake up early for practice or something and just left.
05:19But again, like all those same feelings of just like feeling so disgusted in my own body,
05:23body, a feeling like I don't want to be here, a feeling like, yeah, I just remember like
05:28wanting to cut off my lips and I just being like, this is so gross.
05:30I feel so gross and I don't know what to do because all of it is like an internal thing.
05:35It's not something that I can wash off.
05:36It's something that's inside of me.
05:38And I think that was just such a really, really difficult place to be.
05:42And honestly, like, I don't remember what had happened afterwards between Kyle and I.
05:47I'm sure we had made up because there was another incident, but I don't remember what had happened.
05:51Kyle was still very much involved.
05:53Like we were part of the same friend groups.
05:55It's a small campus.
05:56So people just run into each other all the time.
05:58And again, like every time these things that happened, like I was alone, there's no one
06:01around to witness anything.
06:02No one around to be like, Oh, like what Kyle did to Lordward was really wrong.
06:06And like, we should stay away from it.
06:07And so the third time it happened, it was kind of like a month or two in between times
06:11before it kind of happened again.
06:12We're just pretending to be friends in my head.
06:15I'm like, just shut up, get through it.
06:17Don't tell anybody.
06:18You know, no one really cares anyway.
06:19Like if you told someone and they did care, they just make fun of you.
06:22They use it against you.
06:23And so I was like, okay, like, we're just not going to say anything.
06:26We're just going to get through this.
06:27Um, and the third time, like, I really don't remember like how I ended up at his apartment,
06:31but like, and people have asked me like, Oh, we're like, did you like take you by force?
06:35And I was like, that's not the feeling I have to just, the memory is so blurry for me.
06:39I just don't know how I ended up there.
06:40Um, I think he, I think Kyle had just like invited me to his place and I was like, Oh,
06:45like let's hang out.
06:46Like, let's get some food and like watch a movie or something.
06:48And I was like, okay, sure.
06:49Like, whatever.
06:50Like that sounds fine.
06:51And I think if I remember correctly, he had initiated that because he was like, I'm really
06:57sorry for how I treated you.
06:58Like, you know, we haven't been really close friends as of late, but like, I want to make
07:01it up and you know, I was like, Oh, like it's a gesture of goodwill.
07:04Like, okay, for sure.
07:06Um, and I just remember it being like cold and snowy in my mind.
07:10And we, I get there, something happens and it's something that like as try as I might,
07:16like, it's something that I just can't remember.
07:17Um, but I remember just being like on the floor on a mattress with like his body pressed
07:21up up against mine.
07:22And I'm just like, I'm coming, I'm waking up and I'm like, it's really hot.
07:25I'm like, I'm not wearing a shirt.
07:27I'm not wearing sweats.
07:28Like I was definitely wearing those when I came.
07:30Um, and just like, I feel his like in between my butt cheeks and I can, and I'm just like,
07:35Oh my God, this is really gross.
07:36Like I don't feel comfortable and I can feel it like his hand is like over.
07:40He's like, Oh, like, and something happens, but he's like, like stroking me and I'm just
07:46like, Oh my gosh, what is happening?
07:48Like, um, and again, like I'm just freezing again.
07:51Like I'm just like, I don't know what to do.
07:53I don't know if I want to freak out.
07:54Like he's so much bigger than me.
07:56If I freak out and like try to fight, like he's just going to beat me.
07:59So it doesn't matter.
08:00And I was just like, Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.
08:01And I'm just trying to stay so calm and I'm just like freaking out.
08:05I'm like, Oh my gosh, like I feel so, so uncomfortable.
08:07Um, and then he asked me, he's like, is this okay?
08:10And I remember in, in that moment, like I had so much clarity in my mind, but I was like,
08:15I know he's recording this in my mind.
08:17I was like, I know he's recording this, but even though I had that level of clarity and
08:20I knew, I was like, I know he's recording this.
08:22I know he knows what he's doing is wrong.
08:24And he was like, is this okay?
08:25Like in my mind, I'm like, if I say no, what's going to happen?
08:28If I say no, like there are no good outcomes for this.
08:31It's not as though he's gonna be like, Oh, like you set a boundary.
08:33Okay.
08:33Like, I'm gonna let you go.
08:34I was just like, this doesn't end well.
08:35So I was just like, and I remember just like, I have this very clear image in my mind of
08:39this, like the softest, most timid, like most coerced.
08:42Yes.
08:42Coming out of my mouth.
08:44Yes.
08:44And just like barely croaking it out.
08:46And he asked again, cause he's, I'm like, he has something he's recording me.
08:49And I croak it out again.
08:50And I'm like, I pray to God that if someone ever hears this, they can hear the tension in
08:55my voice, like just the most coerced dribble out of a yes ever.
09:00Um, and so eventually, you know, after a while, he keeps going and I was just like, okay,
09:05like I'm going to leave now.
09:06Like if it's okay, he, there was no, but he like just kept going.
09:11And then after a while I was like, I'm good.
09:12So I'm like out of the mattress.
09:14I'm like putting my clothes on.
09:15I'm trying to be like, Oh, like I'm super tired.
09:17Like I want to sleep in my own bed.
09:18I'm like trying to come up with like this very nonchalant excuse for why I need to leave
09:23right now.
09:23And I remember like walking down the stairs super slowly and I was like, you can see me.
09:27He can see me.
09:28I gotta be cool.
09:28I gotta be casual.
09:29But as soon as like turn the corner and the trees are black, I'm like beelining it for
09:33my dorm.
09:34I'm just sprinting.
09:35And I just remember like, it's snowy.
09:37It's cold.
09:38Like my feet are kind of slipping against the snow as I'm running.
09:41And the snow like kind of stings your face.
09:43And I'd like get back to my dorm room.
09:44And I just like, I just remember like curling up and like squatting on the floor and just
09:48like hugging myself.
09:49And I was just like, I have this, I was like, I feel like if I don't hug myself right
09:53now,
09:53if I feel like if I don't squeeze myself right now, like everything is just going to spill
09:57out of me and I can't have that happen right now.
09:59I need to keep it together.
10:01Um, and so I'm just like squatting there on the floor, like holding myself and I'm just
10:04like, it's okay.
10:05It's okay.
10:06It's okay.
10:06Like, it's okay.
10:07Like, don't freak out.
10:08Don't freak out, freak out.
10:09And in my head, I'm just freaking out.
10:10I'm like, what is happening right now?
10:12Like so much is going through my brain.
10:15Um, and you know, I like get up and I like, right where I was squatting right on my right,
10:20there's a mirror.
10:21And I remember like getting up from the squat and like catching my reflection in the mirror
10:25and just like wanting to throw up because I was just like, so disgusted with myself.
10:29And I remember standing there and just being like, I don't want to be here.
10:32I hate how I feel.
10:34And I just like, get up.
10:35I see myself and I turn.
10:36And then there's another mirror on the other side for my roommate right there.
10:40And I see myself like full face and I'm just like, oh my God, like, I want to throw up.
10:44Like, I hate you so much.
10:45Like, how could you let this happen?
10:46Um, and I turn, I go out and like go to the bathroom and I'm like trying to go to
10:50pee,
10:50but I like can't even hold anything.
10:53I'm like looking away and I'm just like, I don't even want to look at what is happening
10:56because I feel so disgusted with myself.
10:58I feel so gross.
10:59I feel like I want to just chop everything off.
11:01I feel like I want to shower and just scrub everything raw because it's so gross.
11:05I feel so dirty.
11:06I feel disgusting.
11:07I feel like just the worst thing ever.
11:09Um, and then I just remember like lying in bed and I just like have silent tears rolling
11:14to my face.
11:14I'm like in such like shock and just being like, okay, like, I guess, I guess this is
11:19what it is.
11:20And just like falling asleep, like crying.
11:21And that was kind of that day.
11:23And I remember the first semester of my fourth year of college.
11:27And I was so lucky.
11:28I was so lucky.
11:28My second semester of my fourth year, a new counselor comes in and I was just like, okay,
11:33this is my chance.
11:34It's a brand new slate.
11:35I'm going to tell this person.
11:36I'm just going to really go in hot and heavy and just lay it all out.
11:40So I make an appointment and I come in and he's like, Oh, like, hello.
11:42Like, how are you doing?
11:43And I'm like, I want to tell you something that I haven't told anyone before.
11:46It's like, okay, like, what's up?
11:48And I like spill all my guts out.
11:49Like my freshman year, there's this person and they did this to me and they gaslit me and
11:53they made me feel like I was the only person that they could trust.
11:56And then I like went back to them and then they did it again.
11:59And then I went back and all this stuff.
12:00And I was like, I'm a terrible person.
12:01I'm just laying it out.
12:02And he's just sitting there listening.
12:04And I look up and I'm like, Oh my God, like I'm such an idiot.
12:07I have so much vulnerability regret right now.
12:09I feel so stupid.
12:10Like, why would you ever do something like this?
12:12And he just looks at me and he goes, Lord, thank you so much for telling me.
12:15Like, I know that took a lot from you.
12:16And I just felt, I could just feel my shoulders drop like inside my body.
12:19I'm just like, Oh my God.
12:21Like I did it.
12:22Like I finally managed to tell someone.
12:24And I told them like, I come to you today because I'm so scared that I'm going to do
12:28this to someone I care about.
12:29That if I, if I get a girlfriend and I do this to her, like I can never, ever live
12:33with
12:33myself.
12:33And he was like, you know, like, that's a really like complex thought for you to have.
12:38And I'm so glad that you came and saw me today.
12:40Cause like, this is the first step.
12:41And he was like, or to be honest, like, I don't ever see you doing something like that
12:46to someone because of how you personally feel.
12:47I think you would stop yourself much before then.
12:50Um, and I just felt like coming out of there.
12:52I just like had a smile on my face.
12:54I was like, you did it, buddy.
12:55Like you told someone like, good job.
12:56You know, because for so long, I was like, I'm never going to tell anyone.
12:59I can't tell anyone.
13:00It's like, that's it.
13:01You know?
13:02And I came out of that counselor session and, you know, later in the night, like meeting
13:06up with some friends and like, Oh, like, how was your day?
13:08What'd you do today, Lord?
13:09And I'm like, Oh, like I went to see the counselor today.
13:12They're like, Oh, the new guy.
13:13And I was like, yeah, yeah.
13:14And they're like, Oh, what'd you guys talk about?
13:15And I was like, you guys want to go talk about it?
13:18And just to provide a little bit of context, like in college, my guy friends and I, we
13:21had this thing called laundry room talks where anytime any of us, one of us wanted to
13:25talk about something like a little serious, a little heavy, you'd be like laundry room.
13:30And we would go, we'd like all like cram ourselves into a laundry room.
13:33We'd like sit on top of the dryer.
13:34We'd like close the door.
13:35We'd turn off the lights and we'd be like, all right.
13:37And I'll bless their hearts.
13:38And I tell them, I'm like, Hey, you guys remember Kyle?
13:40And they're like, yeah, I remember Kyle.
13:41And it was like freshman year, Kyle, like did these things to me.
13:44And they're like, what?
13:45And I'm, I feel so much hesitation right now because I'm like, Oh my God.
13:48Like I was on a high from telling a counselor and I'm so stupid for like telling my kind
13:52friends, like, why would I do such a thing to myself?
13:54And I'm like, Oh my gosh.
13:55Oh my gosh.
13:55Oh my gosh.
13:56I'm freaking out.
13:56And they're like, dude, like, thank you so much for telling us.
13:58Like, and I was like, Oh my God, like so much relief.
14:02And they're like, yeah, he was, he was a pretty weird dude.
14:04And I was like, Oh my gosh, you thought that too?
14:05And they're like, yeah, you said some stuff to me too.
14:07And I was just like, Oh my God, like this was happening to you guys too.
14:10And none of us anything.
14:11And they were just like, Hey, like we're here for you.
14:13And we were like, thanks so much for telling us.
14:15And we just like kind of had a moment where we were like, oh, okay.
14:17And then we like went back downstairs and like it joined the rest of the party.
14:21And so after I had told the school counselor and those three friends, while I had a lot of
14:25time to reflect, I was just like, I want to actually write about what had happened to me.
14:30I write it and I'm feel ashamed.
14:31I'm like, Oh my God, this is so stupid.
14:33Like people are going to judge me so much.
14:34And I take a pause and eventually I finish it.
14:37And I have this really pretty polished out rough draft.
14:40And I send it to one of my really good friends.
14:41And I'm like, Hey, this is the thing that has happened to me.
14:43It was really difficult, but whatever I need from you right now is for you to proofread this.
14:48And she reads it and she gets back to me and she's like, Hey, like, first of all, that was
14:52really hard.
14:52That was really hard for me to read, to proofread, to be objective.
14:56And we just called and we were like, thanks so much for telling me.
14:58Like, I really appreciate you.
14:59You know, I care about you so much as a friend.
15:01And I had gotten it all plushed up and ready to publish.
15:04And I was like, okay, this is going to be a thing.
15:06We're just going to, we're just going to go for it.
15:07You know, I just sent it for college.
15:10I'm a sent it for this blog and we're just going to do it.
15:12So I like put up on my Instagram.
15:13I'm like, Hey, tomorrow I'm going to like release this thing.
15:15And I posted a short little snippet of the first paragraph.
15:18And I'm like, it'll be up tomorrow.
15:19I'd really appreciate if everyone could take a look at it and read it.
15:22And so the following day I posted immediate regret, immediate regret.
15:26I'm just like, I am so stupid.
15:27Like, why would you do something like this?
15:29Like, come on, dude.
15:30Like, have we not learned our lesson?
15:31And I'm like, leave it.
15:32It's out there.
15:33Let people stare.
15:34Let people look.
15:35It's fine.
15:36People have looked at me before.
15:37They'll look at me again.
15:38It's fine.
15:38People who care, they matter, but they won't judge me.
15:42People who judge me, they don't matter.
15:44I don't care about them.
15:45And it was just so much, so much support came in.
15:48Like so many people, like people that I just genuinely was like, Oh, you don't even care about me.
15:53People were just like, Hey, like, thank you so much for writing about this.
15:56Like, I know this was so hard for you.
15:58Like similar thing happened to me in college from someone else.
16:00And I know what it's like.
16:01And I felt so much shame, but I'm so like thankful that you were able to write this and be
16:05so positive about it anyways.
16:07And just so many people were so, so kind and just generous.
16:10And I felt so unbelievably lucky.
16:13And I'm just like very unsure.
16:14And I'm like, I text them.
16:15I'm like, Hey, I wrote this thing.
16:17Would love for you to read it.
16:18Let me know.
16:19And I'm just like, so terrified.
16:20I'm like, Oh my God.
16:21Oh my God.
16:21Oh my God.
16:22Like this was a mistake.
16:23This was a mistake.
16:23Why would I do something like this?
16:26And then the following day, my dad calls me and I'm just like, Oh, I remember picking up his phone
16:30and I see my dad's name.
16:31Oh my gosh.
16:32Like, I'm so screwed.
16:34I'm going to get yelled at right now.
16:35And he's going to be like, how could you do something so stupid?
16:37How can you be so irresponsible?
16:39And I'm like, and I'm just like, I could feel my heart racing.
16:41Just like, Oh my gosh.
16:42Oh my gosh.
16:42And I'm like, and my dad goes like my son.
16:45And I remember him saying that.
16:46He goes, my son.
16:47And I'm just like, Oh shoot.
16:49Here it comes.
16:50Like, I'm so screwed right now.
16:51I'm going to get yelled at.
16:51And he's like, and I can hear him like start to stop.
16:54And I'm like, what is, what is happening right now?
16:57He's like, I'm so sorry.
16:58You have to go through that.
16:59We were all alone in North Carolina.
17:01And I couldn't be there for you.
17:04And he's just like, so vulnerable.
17:06He's just being so honest.
17:07And I was so terrified.
17:09Right.
17:09And I'm so scared that my dad was going to yell at me.
17:11And here he is like coming at me and being like, I'm so sorry.
17:14You were alone through that.
17:15I'm so sorry.
17:16I couldn't be there for you.
17:17And I was just like, I felt so much relief.
17:20I felt so much relief.
17:21He was like, mom read it too.
17:23And mom, she said like, my son is so strong.
17:26How could he go through that all by himself?
17:27We're such bad parents.
17:29And I just remember like, we got on the phone with them.
17:31And I was like, no, like you're not bad parents.
17:33Like stuff happens.
17:34Stuff just happens.
17:36And it's only because you guys were good parents.
17:37Like I was able to make it to the other side.
17:40And it was such a, it's such a relief to like, hear that from your parents for them to be
17:44like, we're so proud of you.
17:45And I think, I think the reason that I continue to like share my story to continue to be vocal,
17:50continue to advocate for service, continue to work for these nonprofits is I have siblings.
17:54I have, and I would like to have kids one day.
17:57And I always think to myself, like, if I was my sister, if I was my kid, like, how would
18:01I want them to act?
18:02And the thing that always comes to me is like, I, I would hope and pray that they feel comfortable
18:06enough to tell me because I know, I just know how hard it is.
18:10I know how isolating it is.
18:11I know how hard it is to just be able to tell someone like, Hey, I went through this thing
18:15and to have so much uncertainty over whether or not they would respond well.
18:19The thing that always pushes me is I don't want that to be the case.
18:21I want to change that narrative.
18:23I want people to be like, you know what?
18:24There's someone who cares.
18:25There are people who care.
18:26There are people who are willing to listen to me.
18:28There are people who have gone through the same thing and they've made it out and they're okay.
18:31And so I can make it.
18:32And that's always, always my thing because you feel so alone.
18:35You feel so isolated.
18:36You feel like you're the only person ever going through this.
18:38Thanks so much for listening.
18:39I really do appreciate it.
18:41And I hope that if you've gone through something similar, that you go at your pace and find a way
18:45to tell someone and look for better days.
