00:00My name is Angelica Robledo and I am a survivor of attempted fetal abduction.
00:04When I was 17 years old, I got pregnant in a small town called Maricopa.
00:11I had a friend of mine, she introduced me to another girl and she said,
00:16I think that you guys would get along because you're pregnant, she's pregnant,
00:20she's new to our town, so let's go ahead and introduce you guys.
00:25Everything seemed normal, everything seemed fine, I got to meet her.
00:28It was like the week of Valentine's Day, so that week, I remember she kept asking me to come to
00:34her house.
00:34Very specifically, she wanted me to come to her.
00:38Is there any way that you can come to my house?
00:40I'll bake you food, I'll bake you cookies.
00:44She was trying to bribe me into coming over, which wasn't very hard because I was pregnant and food was
00:51great.
00:52My mom was like, why don't you just invite her here?
00:54I was like, that is a great idea.
00:56So a few days went by and it's now February 16th.
01:00So she came over in the morning, somebody dropped her off, I don't know who.
01:05And she came over specifically because she wanted to give me gifts.
01:08I wasn't going to be rude and be like, oh, did you bring my gifts?
01:11We kind of just left it.
01:12The gifts actually didn't get brought up until like a lot later.
01:15Things did start to get weird later on.
01:17From what I remember, we were watching 16 and Pregnant with my mom.
01:21Our water were to break.
01:22We were to go straight into labor.
01:24Like these were conversations that got brought up with my mom.
01:26And she brought up a C-section.
01:28She goes, oh my gosh, like what would happen if we had to have like a C-section?
01:32What would happen?
01:33And she started really going into the discussion of the C-section.
01:37She was like, well, what do they do when you have a C-section?
01:39My mom had had a C-section with my brother.
01:41So she was able to give like specific details.
01:44I was very much wanting that specific detail.
01:47She stood up and asked my mom to show her where they cut for a C-section.
01:52So in a way, my mom didn't know that she was actually feeding information to her without
01:58actually knowing that that was happening.
02:00She called me lazy and wanted me to go to the park with her.
02:05And I did not want to go to the park.
02:07But this was something that she kept on asking me to do over and over.
02:11It wasn't like she was like, oh, let's go to the park.
02:13She would just like every hour and a half or so, she'd be like, oh, it's so beautiful
02:16outside.
02:17Like we should go for a walk.
02:18Like, are you sure you don't want to go to the park?
02:20And I would tell her, no, I don't want to.
02:23Like I'm nine months pregnant.
02:24I don't want to go for a walk.
02:26It is hot outside.
02:27It had gotten later, probably like around like four or so.
02:30My brothers had football practice and my mom was going to take me or my mom was going
02:36to take them to football practice.
02:37And she asked if we wanted to come.
02:39And I thought about it and I was like, all right.
02:41So I told her, yeah, let's go.
02:42Like, let's just go.
02:43I know you wanted to go for a walk.
02:45Let's go do it.
02:46And she immediately was like, oh, no, no, no, no.
02:48Like, I'm not feeling good.
02:50Can you just stay here?
02:51And I was just like, well, you just like called me lazy.
02:54We were left alone.
02:55That's when everything started to change.
02:57Everything that we're about to go into happened within like an hour span.
03:01So that is when the gifts came out.
03:03She got like really excited and was like, I have your gifts.
03:06And I was like, oh my gosh, you're my gifts.
03:09Like, I forgot about my gifts.
03:10Thanks so much.
03:11And she was like, OK, so you know how a normal person would do it.
03:13They would give you the present.
03:14No, I had a different way of doing it.
03:17She took my kitchen chair and sat it in the middle of my kitchen.
03:20And she was like, sit in the chair, like turn around, close your eyes.
03:23Like, I'm going to come up behind you and drop the baby gifts in your lap.
03:26I sat in the chair and I'm sitting there.
03:28And I start having these weird thoughts happening, like just weird things like she would come up behind me and
03:34she would drop a baby, like a baby gift in my lap.
03:36So like she was actually doing it.
03:38She dropped like a receiving blanket into my lap and then she would walk back and then she'd come back
03:42over and drop another gift into my lap.
03:44She continuously kept doing it.
03:45And the one thing weird about these presents was that none of them were wrapped and they reeked like cologne.
03:52So it smelled like a man had like rubbed all over his shirt.
03:56And then there was a knock at my door and it ends up being my best friend Skylar and his
04:00mom.
04:01So he came over and brought me some gifts and then she came outside and she came outside and she
04:07was like very like, who is this?
04:10And I was like, this is my friend Skylar.
04:12She almost had like a problem with the fact that like I had people at my house.
04:16So they end up leaving.
04:18And after they leave, she goes, I want to show you this light that I got you.
04:22And I was like, oh, you can just give it to me.
04:23Like, I know what they look like.
04:24She's like, no, I had this one specifically made.
04:27Like, it's specially made for Ryland, which is my son.
04:30So she's like, it's specially made for Ryland.
04:32And I'm like, huh, OK, like I can dig that.
04:35Like, that's cool.
04:36So like we go into my room and it is dark and she turns the lights off and then she
04:41goes, OK, so stand over there, turn around and close your eyes.
04:44And I'm like, well, why do I have to close my eyes?
04:46I was like, it's already dark.
04:46And she's like, I just want it to be a surprise for you.
04:48I'm going to go into my bag and get it.
04:50Just turn around.
04:50So I'm standing there and I'm turned around.
04:54I feel like I was going to get stabbed.
04:55I'm standing up and I'm looking at the wall.
04:57My bed is right beside me.
04:59I immediately tell her my back is hurting.
05:01So I'm going to sit on my bed.
05:02So I turn around this way and I'm sitting on my bed so that I can see her.
05:06Even though it's dark, you can still see the shadow.
05:09So it made me feel better.
05:10And right when I did that, she immediately got up and got behind me on my bed.
05:14And I was like, what are you doing?
05:16She was like, I just want to put it over your head because like what I'm going to do is
05:20I'm going to put it over your head like I did with the gifts.
05:22And it's going to shine and it's going to look so pretty like on the on the closet door.
05:26This is all just happening within like 20 seconds.
05:28And I'm sitting there with the phone to my chest.
05:30I am having these thoughts in my head telling me you're going to get stabbed.
05:33You're going to get stabbed like you're going to die.
05:35So she puts her hand on my shoulder and she goes, are you ready?
05:38And I was like, yeah, show me the gift.
05:40She leans me forward and I'm nine months pregnant.
05:42So my stomach is like hurled over and I'm like hurled over my stomach.
05:46I'm like, what are you doing?
05:47And she goes, one, two.
05:51And right when she says three, I turn around and I'm like and I like I jump up and I
05:57run to the like I run to like my my light and I turn the light switch on right when
06:01that happens.
06:02Her phone rings.
06:03The coincidences of her phone ringing right when that happened was bizarre because it distracted me.
06:11So she's on the phone and she starts speaking to somebody in Spanish and I'm staring at her and I'm
06:16just like like trying to think about what the heck just happened.
06:20Like obviously I did not get stabbed when she had turned to the three and I told I turned around.
06:25I couldn't see anything.
06:26She was putting something back into her bag.
06:28And when I turned the light on, she had already been standing up.
06:32So within seconds, she was able to put something back into her bag and stand up immediately.
06:35So I wasn't able to ever see an item.
06:38I was never able to see anything.
06:40All of a sudden she starts telling me, I go, so who was that on the phone?
06:43She goes, oh, it was Edwin, which is her husband.
06:46She went into the bathroom.
06:47She came out and she acted like her water had broke.
06:51So she had like water all over her pant.
06:53She was like, I think my water broke.
06:54Like, I don't know what's going on.
06:56Like, will you please come to the hospital with me?
06:57And I was like, um, okay, let me call my mom and just let her know where I'm at.
07:02Like, I have to tell my mom like what's going on.
07:04And so she started calling somebody and she was like, can you pick us up?
07:07I think my water broke.
07:09Okay, I'll see you in a little bit.
07:10Hung up.
07:10Looking back at all of this, she hadn't given my address.
07:14She hadn't said where she was at.
07:15So whoever this was that she called, she said it was her brother that she called, knew where
07:19I lived and was supposed to come get her and supposed to come get us because she wanted
07:22me to come to the hospital with her.
07:24I let her know that I would come to the hospital, but that I would have to tell my mom.
07:28So I started to get my phone out and to call my mom.
07:30And she immediately like backtracked and was like, wait, why do you have to call your mom?
07:34And I was like, well, I've got to tell her where I'm going.
07:36And she was like, well, let me make sure that I just didn't pee myself.
07:39And so she went into the bathroom and she came out like moments later and was like, I think
07:43it was just a false alarm.
07:44And she called that person back and was like, hey, nevermind.
07:47You don't have to get me.
07:48Okay, bye.
07:49Now she went inside my room.
07:51I came out.
07:52I started doing my nails and she was trying dresses on.
07:55And then when she opened the door, I went into my room at that point and I had smelled
07:59something.
08:00It's not like something was burning.
08:01I looked around and the candle was out and I was like, the candle was out and all of the
08:08wax was gone from the candle.
08:09And in my head, all I kept thinking was, she's starting my house on fire.
08:14She's starting my house on fire.
08:15I immediately go into panic mode.
08:18So I end up running out to the kitchen and I grabbed two big pots.
08:22I filled them up with water.
08:23I tell her to go help me put the fire out.
08:25I don't know what's going on at this point.
08:27I am just concerned on getting the fire out.
08:29I pick my phone up.
08:30I call the last, instead of calling 9-1-1, which I know I should have called 9-1-1.
08:33I call the last person that called me.
08:35I just press send, send, send, send, send.
08:37And the send button called Skylar.
08:39So I'm like screaming, my house is on fire.
08:42Call 9-1-1.
08:42Like I'm just screaming at him, like call 9-1-1.
08:45He came over immediately.
08:46He already called 9-1-1.
08:47I don't think I called 9-1-1.
08:49I think I just trusted the fact that he was going to call 9-1-1 for me.
08:52So I'm just focused on putting the fire out.
08:54I put the fire out and at this point, our whole, my whole like bedroom is filled with
09:00smoke and I am like coughing and coughing and coughing and I don't know where she was
09:06at at this point, but I do remember that I grabbed her and I yanked her outside.
09:10Like I dragged her outside because we were both like, like bent over coughing.
09:15And so I grabbed her and I opened the garage door and smoke started rolling out of my house.
09:20At that point, Skylar and his mother had pulled up and I don't know where she went.
09:25She went like running down the street barefoot.
09:27But my friend Skylar came and talked to me and we were standing outside the house waiting
09:31for like the fire department to get there.
09:33And she's like running down the street and he's like, what, what is that?
09:37And I was like, I don't know.
09:38Let her go.
09:38Let her go.
09:39Like, I don't know.
09:40Like, just let her leave.
09:41And he's like, what is going on, Angelique?
09:42And I'm like, he's like, how did this fire start?
09:44And I said, okay, I'm going to tell you something.
09:46And if I tell you, you cannot tell anybody.
09:49You have to pinky promise me.
09:50You cannot tell anybody.
09:51And he was like, okay, I promise.
09:52And I was like, I think she was going to kill me.
09:54I think she was going to stab me.
09:55I don't know why she would want to stab me.
09:57And I don't understand the reasoning as to why she would want to harm me.
10:01I think she started my house on fire.
10:04And I think, I think all of this, like it has to do with her.
10:08She is the reasoning for all of this.
10:09So he was looking at me of the fear that I thought everybody else would look at me like
10:13is like, you are crazy.
10:14Like, what is wrong with you?
10:16And I was like, I know this sounds crazy, Skylar.
10:19Like, I know it sounds nuts, but like, I don't know how else to explain it to you, except
10:22for whatever was happening.
10:24I felt all of these things were going to happen to me.
10:26So she came back and the paramedics came out.
10:29And I remember my dad going inside the house and the fire had restarted.
10:33Everybody was back in the house trying to get the fire out.
10:36I was outside still coughing.
10:38I was also having contractions.
10:39So the paramedics started to take care of me.
10:41Remember throughout this whole thing, she's also pregnant too.
10:44So she sits down and she's also being, she's also being like treated.
10:50And they're like, what is your name?
10:52She gives them her name.
10:53What's your date of birth?
10:54You know, all these different things.
10:55And my mom is standing there and some of the information that she's giving them is not
11:01the information that like we knew.
11:03She switched things up.
11:04Like things weren't correct.
11:05Like where her address was, was not the same place that she told us that she lived.
11:09Her phone number was different.
11:10Her due date was different.
11:11And my mom was catching on to all these little things that were happening as she was speaking
11:15to the paramedics.
11:16And she's also joking around.
11:18Like I'm over here having full on contractions.
11:20And she's like on the phone with somebody.
11:22And she's like, oh yeah, me and my friend Angelique, we're going to have our babies together.
11:26Angelique, what hospital are you going to?
11:27Can I go to the same hospital that she goes to?
11:30And I am just like, please don't send her with me.
11:32Like, please don't send her.
11:33If I have to go, like, please don't send me with her.
11:35And nobody knows what's going on at this point.
11:38Nobody has any idea of like, what is going on?
11:41Because I am relying on the cops and the fire department to tell me that like an explosion
11:48happened in my, like in my room or something that would make it seem more logical than what
11:53I have to tell them.
11:54I see my best friend Skylar, who Pinky promised me that he would not say anything.
11:58I see him talking to his mother and his mother is over there talking to my parents.
12:02And they're doing this little thing, like where they're talking and they're looking
12:05at me and giving me like this eye.
12:07And they're like looking at me and I'm just like, Skylar, what did you say?
12:11And he's like, I had to tell somebody, Angelique, like that girl is weird and something is happening.
12:15And I think you're right.
12:16Like, I think something happened and I had to tell somebody.
12:18And I just look at him and I'm like, thank you.
12:21Like, thank you.
12:21Like, I wasn't going to say anything.
12:22I was like, mom, I think she was going to kill me.
12:24I felt like she was going to stab me.
12:26Well, why would she want to stab you?
12:27I don't know why she would want to stab me.
12:29Why would anybody want to stab somebody?
12:31Like, I have no clue.
12:32And she was like, well, what made you think this?
12:34I said, a feeling.
12:35And she was like, did you see anything?
12:37And I was like, no, I saw nothing.
12:38It just felt like deep down in my gut, I thought I felt like there was a knife at me
12:42and I felt
12:42like I was going to die.
12:44The paramedics came out and said, hey, we're taking her to the hospital because she wants
12:48to go.
12:48Like, I declined from the hospital because I was feeling better, but she saw it as a way
12:51out.
12:52So she was like, I want to go to the hospital.
12:54So they were like, we have to grab our things to take her to the hospital.
12:56So they go to grab the bag.
12:58And I'm like, oh, no, no, no, no, no.
12:59Like, please don't touch that bag.
13:00And I like tell them, I'm like, listen, mom, she had this light.
13:03She kept saying she had this light for me.
13:06And if this light is in the bag, then I'm crazy.
13:09Like, this proves that I am not.
13:10So I do it in front of everybody.
13:12I put it on top of the counter.
13:14I put my hand into the bag.
13:15And the first thing my hands touch are two metal objects.
13:19When I pull them out, they're two large butcher knives, a pair of scissors.
13:22And she had, um, like a newborn diaper.
13:26She had one of, and then all the stuff that she gave me, she gave me the, the, the receiving
13:32blanket.
13:32She gave me little booties.
13:34She gave me the baby carrier.
13:35She gave me a blanket.
13:37I want, like all the things that she had were all one of everything to take my son and leave
13:41with him.
13:42And I immediately dropped the butcher knives and I go into a straight panic mode.
13:47I am just freaking out at this point because I can't believe first off, like how right
13:54I was.
13:55I had not been physically stabbed.
13:56They ended up finding out later on through court documents and everything that the knife
14:00was to my back.
14:01So she had the knife to my back and she was just, you know, that half a second away from
14:05literally just stabbing me.
14:06Um, when that didn't work, her second plan was to hopefully that the smoke, the fire was
14:12not something that she had thought of at that point, but it was something to distract
14:16me and she was hoping that I would be overcome by smoke and I would pass out and she would
14:21be able to perform the C-section there, but that didn't work either.
14:24So like all of her plans just weren't working, which were like in all of like the documents
14:28of like her confession and everything.
14:30So after that all had happened, my street had been shut down.
14:34So from one corner to the next corner, my whole sheet, my whole street was shut down and
14:38nobody can get in and nobody can get out because at that point it was now attempt of murder
14:42and there was arson because they were able to, they found the candlelight, like the little
14:45candles, little candles that I told you, her fingerprints were on them.
14:49So they were able to dust them and find the fingerprints and she used two little candles
14:53to start a huge fire in my closet.
14:55I'm pretty sure the police officer, the detective was the one that told me like, this is something
15:00that sounds like fetal abduction.
15:02And that was like, whoa, like what?
15:05Like that, that's when I was like, oh my gosh, like this is a whole, this is a whole thing.
15:09And so that night I did not sleep.
15:11Like I stayed awake all night long and I obsessed over it and I became my own detective because
15:17I mean, the cops weren't like mean, but they very much were not treating me.
15:21They were like laughing and giggling with me, like on the, like when I have the CDs and
15:25I listen to them, they're like laughing and giggling me.
15:27And they're also like asking me questions.
15:29Like, I don't know.
15:31I don't, I don't like the way that every, I don't like the way I was treated.
15:34I didn't feel good about the way that I was treated.
15:36I felt like I was, they were questioning me almost like they didn't believe me.
15:40It was a really weird thing because I didn't feel that way until I listened to my own tapes.
15:45When I listened to like the tape or the CDs, I get a better understanding and I remember
15:49more things that happened that night that I don't remember.
15:52I didn't trust them.
15:53I didn't trust the cops.
15:53So I took it more into my own hands and I did like all the investigating and I found out
15:59that I knew her cousin from high school.
16:01Me and her, her cousin, we dated the same guy and that's how I knew her cousin.
16:06So I ended up calling her cousin and I was like, hey, I know we haven't talked for
16:10like four years, but do you know a girl named, you know, blank and how do you know her?
16:16And I explained, like, I think she was going to kill me.
16:18I think she was going to steal my baby.
16:19And then she goes, that's my cousin.
16:21And I was like, oh, I'm sorry.
16:24And she was like, no, I believe you.
16:26Like, I 100% believe that this is what happened.
16:28Like, my cousin is crazy.
16:30She's into bad, like she's into like gang life.
16:32She is, you know, not a good person.
16:35Like, she also has faked pregnancies before.
16:38So this was something that I was like, wait, is she pregnant?
16:41And she was like, no, like she is not pregnant.
16:43Like, if she's telling you guys that she is pregnant, that is false.
16:46And that brought up a whole nother thing because when she went to the hospital, they were able
16:50to get her, like, they were able to get like her medical records and she was not pregnant
16:54when she went to the hospital.
16:55They were able to show that she was not like pregnant at all.
16:59She was just a normal person.
17:00She was just sticking her stomach out, trying to act like she was pregnant.
17:04She was out, out after the hospital, just living a normal life.
17:08This is all the week of.
17:09And the cops are doing their investigation because they're trying to figure out and piece
17:13everything back together.
17:14And they also can't find her.
17:15So they bring me down to the precinct and I'm still pregnant at this point.
17:18They asked me if I would be willing to call her and act like I have no idea what's going
17:23on.
17:24They were like, first off, have you told anybody what happened?
17:26I was like, no, besides like my friend Skylar.
17:28They're like, no, I haven't told anybody because I sound crazy.
17:31Like I still sound, even though we found the butcher knives, even though all these things
17:34are happening, like I still, we don't like, you guys don't believe me.
17:37So how am I going to tell somebody?
17:39So I'm like, no, I've just been staying cooped up inside my house, fearing for my life.
17:42That's what I've been doing.
17:43And they're like, well, would you come down to the precinct?
17:45And would you let us record you, like do like a recording and have you call her and just
17:51act like nothing's happened?
17:52And I was like, no.
17:54And they were like, well, this is how we can get her to admit to things.
17:58And I was like, you want me to call her after she just tried to kill me?
18:01Like, no.
18:02And they pleaded and I ended up doing it.
18:05So I had to call her and they had me ask her certain questions.
18:08They wanted me to try to get her to admit first off that she was in the room by herself
18:11before the fire started.
18:12They wanted me to ask her, like they had a list of questions that they wanted me to
18:16ask her.
18:17And I got through a lot of the list until there was somebody in the background that was catching
18:21on to what I was asking.
18:23And they, it was a guy and he said, hang up the phone.
18:25And he clicked the phone.
18:27But we were able to get her to admit, which they were able to use in court, that she was
18:32alone in the room before the fire started, which did put her down for arson.
18:36So she was able to get put down for arson immediately.
18:39I ended up going into labor.
18:41I was preeclampic.
18:41I was in the hospital for about seven days trying to give birth.
18:45And then my afterbirth was really, really rough on my body.
18:48Nobody knew I was at the hospital giving birth because she's out and about and we have no
18:52idea what's going on.
18:54And they're just doing their investigation, but trying to keep it hush hush because we
18:57also don't want to scare her and make her run away.
19:00So if we just act like nothing's happening, maybe they can catch her.
19:04Ryland was born February 26th and March 6th or March 7th.
19:09I think it was March, like it was like 12 a.m.
19:11My mom woke me up in the middle of the night and said, Angelique, I have the detective on
19:16the phone.
19:16And so I get on the phone.
19:17I'm very much half asleep.
19:19And I'm like, hello.
19:20And she's like, Angelique, we got her.
19:21And I said, what do you mean?
19:22She's like, she confessed everything.
19:24We got her.
19:25Like she is arrested.
19:26She's being booked right now to Florence.
19:28She's in a police car, literally on her way to be booked.
19:33And I was like, what?
19:35I felt like such a relief because in those moments of becoming a mother, you're supposed
19:40to feel that happiness, that bonding moment.
19:43You're supposed to feel something.
19:45I didn't feel that.
19:47The only reasoning that they were even able to get her was because her sister, so she
19:52lived with her sister.
19:53Her sister was out of the country when all of this happened.
19:55Her sister made it back March 5th and the cousin that I had spoke to and told her what
20:00was going on.
20:01When you were out of the country, I want to let you know what she was, like what she was
20:05getting herself into at this point.
20:07And when the cousin told the sister, the sister didn't even blink or bat an eye before she called
20:12the cops and said, come get my sister now.
20:14She believed me.
20:15She hadn't even met me.
20:16She didn't even know me, but she believed me.
20:18So she had the cops come there and she said, she's at my house.
20:21Her sister, the person who is her blood-related relative, is the one that made it happen.
20:27And I can't be more thankful because I don't know what would have happened if we didn't
20:32get that confession or we wouldn't have gotten her to admit to what this crime was.
20:36After we found out that her sister was the one that helped and after everything came out
20:39of the news, you know, everybody was outside my house.
20:42I had news reporters like just waiting for me to come out just to get some kind of statement
20:47out of me.
20:48I literally locked myself in my house for like two weeks until they left me alone.
20:51The next thing I know, we're at sentencing.
20:53So I have no idea what has happened between now and then, but we are at sentencing and
20:58they stated that they did not read her, her Miranda right during the confession, which
21:03now meant that her confession was thrown out.
21:05So they told me, we have two options.
21:08We can go to trial, but you may lose and she may walk.
21:11And so to avoid that happening, we are going to offer a plea bargain.
21:15Now the plea bargain, we're going to let you choose if you would want her to serve her
21:19time in a mental institution in ASH, which is the Arizona State Hospital, or if you would
21:24like for her to go to prison.
21:26Me being who I am, even through everything that I went through, I knew that she was sick.
21:31She was schizophrenic, manic depressant, bipolar.
21:33And at this time it was called multi-personality syndrome.
21:38It is now called DID, but at that moment, that's what she was diagnosed with.
21:43And I felt bad for her because it just sucked that she was sick and it sucked that, you know,
21:50she had all these mental illnesses.
21:51And I obviously still felt a lot of rage and I wanted her to pay for what she did, but
21:56I
21:56knew that at some point in her life, she was going to get out.
22:01I decided that she's going to be out in this world one day and I don't want her to come
22:06out and do this again to somebody.
22:08So I put her in ASH, which is the Arizona State Hospital for seven and a half years.
22:13That trauma has affected my life.
22:16It affected my life a lot between my son first being born and he's now 12 years old.
22:22So I would say before 2020, I had felt like I was living my life in a fog.
22:27Like I don't recall a lot of things that have happened and I feel like I suppressed my trauma
22:35and I basically made it seem like it wasn't there.
22:37And I made it also seem like it wasn't a real thing.
22:39I started to go to therapy in 2020 and it's like a whole new world was opened up that I
22:45wasn't okay.
22:46And I finally started to feel and cry and understand that what had happened to me was a big deal.
22:52And that just because I wasn't physically stabbed, just because I wasn't burned, just
22:58because she didn't succeed in her plot didn't mean that I hadn't gone through something so
23:02traumatic that scarred me for the rest of my life.
23:05There's one lady, she is a survivor and then there's me.
23:09And you don't hear of other people talking about this because they pass away, their babies
23:14pass away and they just become a memory.
23:15And so I take this on as a role as not only to share my story to warn others, but
23:20to also
23:20be the voice for the ones that can't share their story because they didn't survive.
23:24And that is how tragic this crime is.
