00:04With that shift right in how the game is and how players are moving around so frequently,
00:09how challenging is that for you to create that depth that you may need for seasons like this
00:14when you have injuries and you might not have that experienced guy at the end of the bench
00:18that you realize?
00:20Yeah, that is a problem.
00:22I addressed that a week or two ago with just I didn't do a good job at getting
00:29us deep enough with experience.
00:32I think the players can develop into good players, but that experience at this level
00:38when you're playing 13, 14 quad one games, you need experienced guys.
00:44You go to Purdue and those guys are old.
00:47Indiana, those guys are old.
00:54Northwestern, Martinelli's been there forever it seems like.
00:57You know, so it is just different.
01:01You know, that experience is really important.
01:08Illinois has got a couple of young guys, but they also got some guys that have been around forever.
01:12Boswell, I mean, heck, I remember playing against him at Arizona, you know.
01:17And so they've got experience and some really talented players, you know, to mix in with them.
01:23And that freshman guard is unbelievable.
01:27So, no, it is different.
01:31It's why I like Drew Carter, you know, just in his second year has been able to give us a
01:37little stability,
01:38you know, at the point.
01:41And he's having to go against some really good point guards, you know.
01:44But just being here a year, knowing our system, you know, helps him.
01:49And that's where the experience factor, either at the Division I level or with our program,
01:57makes a tremendous difference.
01:59You know, he's really good.
02:05So.
02:05You
