00:05the royals are the most talked about family on the planet there's not another family that
00:11has that kind of notoriety they have to mind their p's and q's wherever they are and be
00:16careful of what they say but what if we could find out what they're saying when they think
00:20nobody is listening william glances at katherine and she says stop arguing
00:27to if the queen replies let's stop this now of course i don't want you to suffer in this program
00:32we will show the royals as you've never seen them before and to say all of this is not true
00:39absolutely not true i've followed the royal family for many years and i've never had this kind of
00:46insight because a crack team of lip readers are scarring through the royal archives it's like i'm
00:52listening through my eyes my eyes are my ears this is what they believe they're saying
00:57in their most unguarded moments megan is very jealous and a scaremonger they will be lifting
01:04the lid on the pump and ceremony and then charles half joking saying what if you're nude it's nice
01:12that they're actually laughing on the balcony because it's a very difficult thing to do the
01:16balcony appearance william continues by saying everyone seems to be having a jolly time celebrating
01:21with us now we've got the words to go along with this wow does it come alive these insights were
01:27unprecedented we didn't know any of this before the lit readers told us this is the royals as you've
01:33never heard them before
01:42queen elizabeth ii was born on the 21st of april 1926 and she became queen at the age of 25
01:50when her father died
01:53she was a young woman very much in a man's world and she was thrown right into it and she
02:00said
02:00well i just do what my father's done because i had no other way to go i don't think we'll
02:07ever see
02:08again certainly not in our lifetime a young monarch like queen elizabeth was 25 and her longevity
02:18by her diamond jubilee in 2012 she has surpassed king george iii as the longest serving british monarch
02:28the queen had this amazing reign so most people that she reigned over could only ever remember
02:36queen elizabeth when people think what is royalty what is monarchy what is the crime quite simply
02:43i think everybody would agree it was queen elizabeth the second
02:50once into her 90s her royal duties underwent a significant planned transition away from an active
02:57travel heavy schedule and she began to delegate to more able family members i think as the queen got
03:05older and into her 90s it did start to dawn on people that she wouldn't be around forever but then
03:13i also think a lot of people dismissed that because they just couldn't conceive of a time
03:18where queen elizabeth ii wouldn't be on the throne her majesty was notorious for putting duty first
03:27and she served the nation well into her 90s but she wasn't just the queen she was a mother
03:33a grandmother and even a great grandmother her family cared about her deeply and in our first in-depth look
03:41at the words they thought nobody could hear until now our lip readers have been analyzing the trooping
03:47the color balcony appearance in 2019 and they believe they have revealed concerns for their beloved
03:54matriarch who was 93 at the time as they settle into their places and charles and and speak together
04:05they're standing just behind the queen and they start speaking in low tone to each other
04:13anne says she is confused today anne leans in towards charles at this moment and she appears to say
04:24i want to talk to you about something she's saying you have to admire her strength but it's happening quite
04:33often now what i believe she says at this moment which i think is a key moment in the conversation
04:42is
04:43i think she needs to come off the throne now she's then saying you have to do it very soon
04:52and a decision needs to be made very soon i do think she'll accept it although it'll be a tragedy
05:04but surely you remember how strong she was
05:08and then anne continued she asked so many questions it's bloody unbound thing and charles replied i'm aware
05:21it's always hard when when someone gets older i think this conversation is pure worry about their
05:28mother i think it's literally more for concern of her health as to what should we do you know the
05:34discussions need to be had whether it's with mom or without but they do need to be had
05:38and it humanizes them incredibly that is a family concerned and caring of their mother
05:45utterly extraordinary utterly extraordinary and they were obviously uh as a family
05:52worried about their mother and certainly in 2019 we had no idea that the queen was having any kind of
06:00health problems health problems because it wasn't until 2021 when she had a fall and went into
06:07hospital overnight that we really knew that there was anything seriously wrong with her because she
06:14hid it very very well indeed
06:21our stoic queen continued to work tirelessly for the next three years
06:26even meeting the new prime minister liz truss in balmoral where she was staying due to ill health
06:33this marked the first time in queen elizabeth's long reign that a prime minister was appointed away
06:38from buckingham palace or windsor the photo is the last known ever taken of her
06:47when we saw that photograph of the queen in her sitting room look you know we're on a stick but
06:53she
06:53was standing up she was standing there which was extraordinary and she was determined to do her
06:59duty until she absolutely couldn't anymore but at that moment she could
07:11at 12 30 on the 8th of september two days after meeting liz truss buckingham palace put out a statement
07:18which said the queen's doctors were concerned for her majesty's health and have recommended that she
07:24remained under medical supervision every single person and outside buckingham palace we'd all been
07:32watching that flagpole to see whether a flag would be raised to half mast and as soon as that happened
07:40before the notice had gone on the gates of buckingham palace before the press had been informed we knew
07:46that this bad news was coming when you have members of the royal family all traveling to one place is
07:53it's there's one reason for that you know without question
07:58at 6 30 pm it was announced that the queen had died peacefully at balmoral
08:06it was a sadness it was a respect and it was a gratitude and i think those were the emotions
08:11that britain was feeling when she died and i think it just goes to show what a figure she was
08:18for us
08:19and how the reverence that britain had for her in the way in which they grieve
08:26it was the end of an era that very hackneyed expression but it really was the end of an era
08:38but the royal family endures and with the death of his mother prince charles became king charles the
08:45third with little time to grieve charles returned to london to carry out his duty as the new monarch
08:56the statement was put out about how the queen had passed away at balmoral the next sentence the king
09:05is due to return to london i think charles must have been absolutely heartbroken um
09:13and nervous he must have been all over the place and completely beside himself
09:20on the 9th of september the day after queen elizabeth ii died charles and camilla emerged from
09:26buckingham palace to look at the tributes made to his mother and our lip readers are on hand to see
09:33what they said as they meandered past the flowers
09:38charles opens the dialogue in this clip by saying there's thousands here it's incredulous as they walk
09:44along charles waves to the crowd and says thank you very much they continue walking on pointing at
09:49the occasion of bouquet and flowers charles says to camilla do you want to go back to but she replies
09:55we will carry on camilla looks down on the flowers and says there's so many it's impressive and charles
10:02then turns to face the crowd and says there's so many thank you very much camilla looks down at the
10:06flowers and says i'm astonished so they are walking around looking at the flowers after the queen has
10:20died and obviously they've got to be there they're expected to be on show you know he may be feeling
10:27very upset but he also knows he can't show that too so it's kind of what i call performative marketing
10:34just imagine the gravity of that moment and all of the different emotions that you'd be feeling if
10:39you were charles at that point well we will carry on is you know such a british thing to do
10:46and and she's right you know they they have to do it they have to show respect to the people
10:50who've
10:50shown respect to his mother you have to remember this is the day after she died it's it's it's very
10:57real it's very raw um and yet they have to carry on put on a brave face and do what
11:03needs to be done
11:04when you lose a parent it's difficult but for them they've they've got this new role a public role
11:11and they've got to be seen so they haven't really got time to grieve they've got gone with the duty
11:15which i think is extraordinary
11:22coming up the king must stay strong in front of a country grieving
11:28he then says i must address the nation it's my duty i'll avoid this room until then he was clearly
11:35incredibly emotional but he was delivering the speech as a king and her majesty makes her final
11:41journey and i believe that and say i think she'd be glad it's all over she was strong until the
11:48end
11:48she's lived a hugely amazing life and now she's at peace and she can stop doing how do you feel
12:04the royals are one of the most talked about families in the world i have a lot of american
12:09friends who are completely fascinated by the royal family and are very jealous that we have them
12:16but what do they say in these public unguarded moments a team of forensic lip readers are going
12:24to try to find out what i believe she says at this moment which i think is a key moment
12:32and i think
12:33she needs to come off the throne now queen elizabeth ii our longest serving monarch died on the 8th of
12:41september 2022
12:45there would have been millions of people across our nation all our nations that would have had no
12:54concept of a monarch that wasn't queen elizabeth ii she'd been such a constant she'd been
12:59on the throne for so many years that it's inconceivable for many people to have imagined the royal family
13:06without her but now there was a new monarch and it was his duty to make his first address to
13:13the nation
13:13as the new head of state and our lip readers have been analyzing the behind the scenes footage
13:20in the lead up to the address
13:24at the start of the clip um you can see the camera crew moving the mic up and down
13:29on prince charles and he jokes saying you don't want to see this on the tv do
13:35after doing this charl said where do you want me to look at the camera and then repeat it again
13:39look at the camera when they seem to have completed the filming of it we see charles getting up and
13:44he
13:44asks are we done is it right i feel terrible he then says i must address the nation it's my
13:51duty
13:52i'll avoid this room until then
13:57i think we see charles here understanding that it is a weighty moment he does it twice with his lips
14:03that's often a sign of nervousness and stress um not something that you've ever seen him do before
14:09i don't think i've never seen it in any of the clips i've ever seen so it does show us
14:13that you
14:13know he does understand that this is a weighty moment and that it perhaps he's feeling a bit of
14:18pressure they were setting him up for the most important moment of his life so far when he was
14:24going to address the nation as king he said i feel terrible he was very also very emotional he had
14:30to
14:30hold that in check he's switching roles back and forth i'm monarch you don't want to see the
14:36microphone in sight i'm grieving son i feel terrible because he does he's grieving then back to duty
14:45i must give this broadcast to the nation most of us when you lose somebody you just want to lock
14:51yourself away in a room and be left alone we're here he's now going to address the nation so he's
14:56got
14:56to get all that right and it's a lot it's a lot to take on
15:06at 6 p.m on friday the 9th of september 2022
15:10the king's pre-recorded speech was broadcast to the nation and to my darling mama
15:20as you begin your last great journey to join my dear late papa i want simply to say this
15:30thank you may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest he broke down as he said may flights of
15:41angels sing thee to thy rest those were his words where he broke down really in tears at the end
15:49of
15:56the broadcast on the 10th of september two days after the queen's death attention returned to balmoral
16:03while king charles continued his duty as monarch in london some of the queen's other children remained
16:09in scotland where she had spent her final days they gathered at the gates of the castle to acknowledge
16:15the tributes left in her memory before now we didn't know what they said but our lip readers
16:21have been analyzing their every whisper here we've got princess anne prince edward and prince andrew
16:30some of the queen's children looking at some flowers laid out outside balmoral andrew then crouches down
16:35and says i have the doctorate this week he will tell me everything i need to know princess anne then
16:40said bless her you should look it's that side edward then responds saying is it to which princess anne says
16:47i don't want to go on it's too much with the pain and then edward says i don't think you
16:52should
16:55well i think that uh that that anne's remark is is very moving anne is not an emotional person she
17:04just
17:04didn't want to go on looking at the flowers and being photographed and well you know mourning her
17:11mother and the and the whole situation and her brother becoming king and she's like i don't want to
17:16go on this is enough princess anne is you know she's struggling um and edwards therefore and says yeah you
17:24need to just you know go take some time out and that's important they're they're a grieving family they
17:32are struggling and people are watching them grieve
17:44by 2020 harry and megan had stepped back from royal duties and relocated to north america
17:52what followed were a number of high profile interviews and media projects that placed the
17:58monarchy under intense scrutiny when the queen's health deteriorated they were already in britain
18:04for a series of engagements by the time the queen died relations within the royal family were deeply
18:12strained particularly between the two brothers and their wives the ones heralded fab four was no more
18:21um harry harry in particular he and his wife deciding in 2020 to walk away uh from royal duty and
18:30the royal
18:30family was probably a shock uh to the family particularly to the late queen who held a lot of
18:36store in harry that he would be an asset to the family up to the queen's death i mean with
18:42harry
18:43uh and and megan they'd very much become um outcasts if you like the the relations of the royal family
18:51were on an all-time low with the queen's death differences were set aside and amid national
18:58mourning a joint walkabout was agreed reuniting the fab four for the first time since their fallout
19:06on the surface it signaled unity but as the four prepared to begin our lip readers believed the
19:13private tensions have not gone away so william turns to katherine and says let's move harry touches
19:21william on the shoulder just before they make the way to the gates and william says to harry why are
19:29we
19:30together this is not the end and at that moment megan chimes in not today she can obviously feel a
19:41tension here between william and harry when i watched the clip originally i thought oh that's quite nice
19:51they're all together and even though they looked a little bit uncomfortable i thought but they're obviously
19:55okay so now getting the lip readers view on it and hearing what was said obviously it changes the
20:00the dynamic of the situation because the reality is they were having an argument we were all very
20:06surprised to see them together william must have meant this is not the end of our argument this is
20:12not the end of our differences and i think they were probably you know on very awkward terms there wasn't
20:20frustration there there was anger from from william that harry should bring up a personal issue at such
20:27a moment in time it was the wrong time the timing was all wrong they weren't there to reconcile they
20:34were there to pay respect to the people who had come out in support uh to grieve the loss of
20:40the queen
20:41and it wasn't the right moment and it wasn't the right time and he reacted as only william could do
20:47and
20:47as only william should do it's very hard uh for brothers in very different places um and then
20:55publicly you know probably the only opportunity to talk because they're probably not talking behind
21:01the scenes who knows it is such a sad situation especially when there's falling out within family
21:07especially with siblings that is that is tough coming up for william and harry things go from bad
21:18to worse harry's saying not now please i didn't foresee this yeah i feel like i'm sort of peeking
21:27behind the curtain as to so many different dimensions of their relationship their argument their character
21:33in just those few moments and princess anne struggles to keep her composure and sees the coffin and
21:42there's almost a pause when she sees it and she says oh i'm not looking forward to this
21:59we've been fascinated by the royals for years and now a team of forensic lip readers are giving us new
22:06insight into what they believe they're saying in previously inaudible conversations
22:13harry touches william on the shoulder just before they make their way to the gates and william
22:20say to harry why are we together this is not the end the death of her majesty queen elizabeth
22:31ii plunged the nation into mourning as we grieved the royal family were expected to lead by example
22:39it was a a very british type of mourning almost stiff upper lip versus being incredibly sad which i
22:49think really reflected her in the way in which britain grieved in front of the crowds the former fab four
22:56presented a united front but giving us new insights our lip readers believe that behind the carefully
23:04composed expressions the argument was far from over harry's saying not now please i didn't foresee this
23:14as they're walking down the drive towards the cars and flowers william glances at katherine and she
23:21says stop arguing when they get to the gate and they can see all of the flowers i can see
23:28a change in
23:29william like he's put on a front at this point and he says to katherine look at all the flowers
23:38megan and harry on the other side looking at the flowers and cars are very close together and she wants
23:45to keep harry close to her and she says don't let go and harry replies to her i got you
23:55we've got megan grasping harry's hand and we now know that she says to him don't let go
24:00um she always likes to show that she's got him that would have been um that would have been a
24:09palace
24:09decision i think for them to be seen together and obviously the brothers had to agree to this
24:15as well and it would be a very difficult decision i think for them because suddenly they're having to act
24:20having to put the best foot forward and pretend everything's great again we now know from what
24:26the lip reader has told us you know that they did have some words before they just started the walk
24:32about and that again you know when we have something happen to us it does affect us even though we
24:37try
24:37not to let it affect us so harry's obviously doesn't want to get involved in a in a shouting match
24:43with
24:44his brother and he he didn't foresee that they were all going to have to do this together interesting
24:49that princess catherine duchess of sussex they're trying to defuse the situation you know stop
24:55arguing not today because of course this is supposed to be when they are united in grief but the two
25:02brothers know each other at this point and they can't be in each other's company without it turning
25:09into an argument he is having to contend with so much feelings for his wife for his loss of his
25:16grandmother for his entire family his brother you know there's so much going on i think megan is
25:23probably a lot more nervous and insecure than perhaps we've given her credit for
25:31this perhaps perceived moment of unity actually did the complete opposite it showed us more clearly
25:38than ever where the rift was and how they were all handling it in their own different ways
25:47while the tensions within the family continued three days later on the 13th of september at
25:53edinburgh airport the queen's coffin was prepared for its journey south
25:59among those accompanying her was the princess royal and her husband timothy lawrence
26:07she was not only her duty as a royal but also her duty as a daughter accompanying her mother on
26:14her
26:14final journey back to london so anne timothy and her officer are about to board the plane and they're
26:23walking towards the plane i believe that anne said i think she'd be glad it's all over she was strong
26:30until the end and timothy responds yes we all knew that the officer interrupts and says i think we'll go
26:39around as pedestrians as they round to go towards the plane anne sees the coffin and there's almost a pause
26:50when she sees it and she says oh i'm not looking forward to this so we see in this clip
26:58uh princess anne being
26:59princess anne it's not a journey anyone ever wants to take but she hides it really well we see her
27:06go
27:07into her duty mode you know you would never tell from her body language or her facial expressions that
27:12this is really a tough time even though she is feeling inside she hides it so well that's really really
27:18sad
27:19isn't it i think it's actually just a daughter isn't it okay in an extraordinary situation bringing her
27:26coffin and her down on a plane from balmoral but it is still just a daughter um i think she
27:34would be
27:35glad it's all over i mean that is the relief of an incredibly ill relative passing away she was strong
27:44until the end this must have been an incredibly hard moment for princess anne to get on a plane that
27:52is
27:52carrying your mother's coffin but yeah that's that's actually a very heartfelt heartfelt moment
27:59royals don't say things like that royals you know they're duty-bound that's a daughter speaking
28:05it's extraordinary because of the you know you can see it's a daughter grieving and taking her mother
28:10at home it's very powerful
28:22accompanied by her daughter princess anne the queen's coffin arrived at buckingham palace later on that
28:28evening the streets of london were lined with well-wishers paying their respects
28:34the following day on the 14th of september queen elizabeth ii was moved to westminster hall
28:41and would lie in state for four days 250 000 people queued around the clock to file past her
28:52i was one of the people that queued up uh for i think over six hours to just file past
29:00her coffin because i just wanted to bow my head and say thank you i was just incredibly sad but
29:08also
29:08grateful
29:12two days later on the 16th of september the king's tour continued a grieving son but also the new
29:20sovereign charles traveled on meeting leaders and receiving condolences
29:26on the 16th of september that duty brought him to the senate in cardiff and in one brief exchange
29:34the lip readers believe they have found a glimpse of how he was really coping
29:40there's a camera change and i believe camilla said to charles i don't feel good i'm rather done today
29:48as they go further down the step charles and camilla do continue to talk and i pick up a moment
29:57where
29:58he lets camilla know that his feet are freezing he say my feet are freezing i don't know if it's
30:06dormant or one of their pr's or something says to charles we have another hour yet and charles says i
30:16think we need to make an exception we need to leave immediately at that moment because of charles's
30:24directness camilla purses her lips and rolls her eyes i've got the flu probably but i'll try and carry on
30:34so and we know with what she says with from the reader that she's not feeling very well so this
30:40does track with what her body language is showing to that she's not fully on form as she normally is
30:46here we always see one side of them doing their duty talking to everyone shaking hands accepting
30:53condolences but actually his feet are freezing camilla thinks she's got the beginnings of flu she feels
30:59dreadful and um but they've got to soldier on king charles and queen camilla are old and now they're
31:07having to do this whirlwind tour immediately at an age where you would be retiring and they have no
31:15choice they've got no choice they've got to just crack on this gives you a rare insight into camilla
31:23because i think you know there she is obviously quite rightly saying she's not 100 and he's giving
31:29her a get out card she's saying no do you know what i'm here for you i'm going to support
31:33you through
31:33this she wants to show him she's there to support him and she knows this is one of the biggest
31:37moments
31:38of his life then on the 19th of september came the day where the queen was laid to rest
31:49the queen's funeral was i think a day that that britain was never quite prepared for
31:58because she was such a figure in our history there has never been a figure like her in our history
32:04every worldwide figure was at that funeral everyone wanted to be at that funeral because
32:12that was what kind of figure that she was as the eyes of the world turned to westminster abbey the
32:22royal family gathered to say their final goodbye for the nation it was history unfolding for them
32:30it was deeply personal behind the pageantry and beneath the weight of tradition there were nerves
32:37and very real emotion and now our lip readers have been scouring the footage of the day to reveal what
32:44they believe was being said camilla says to the priest there will be strong emotion and the
32:52priest replies to camilla obviously as we go inside westminster abbey megan can be seen talking to the
33:00priest and the priest and she says we talked about it and we thought it was the way to go
33:05and she also
33:07says there's a lot of nerves going around as well and the priest replies to megan it's an emotional and
33:15tough time it happens and megan replies thank you i appreciate that the hardest part is grieving with all
33:26these people these eyes on you that's that just doesn't feel right or normal these conversations
33:32that we're getting are very personal and not part of the whole show if you like this shows them as
33:37people as a family grieving these exchanges reveal that they were all together in this they all shared the
33:44same emotion which was it you know this this grief for grandmother-in-law in megan's case and
33:52mother and anne's but they were all sharing the same emotion and i think they were quite united at that
33:57moment i think the whole funeral was was done to perfection genuinely
34:10inside westminster abbey a carefully choreographed farewell unfolded ancient prayers the archbishop's
34:18address the last post echoing beneath the vaulted ceiling the imperial state crown resting on the
34:25coffin a nation falling silent for one hour tradition and symbolism carried the weight of 70 years of
34:35service and when the final hymn was sung the royal family rose and stepped back out into the light
34:43in the darkest of times so princess catherine stands behind george and charlotte and prompts them to
34:50say thank you to the priest um to which they do nearby camilla says thank you to the priest uh
34:57and
34:57george and charlotte then follow up with their own thank yous after this princess catherine steps forward
35:02and says thank you very much as well so the the camera then shifts to inside the car where we
35:08see camilla
35:09princess kate and george and charlotte princess catherine then says to george okay we're going
35:15to ride in this together george not today camilla then leads forward and hands firmly listen to what
35:22you're told child what's nice with that clip is you see catherine very much involving her children
35:29and get them to say thank you so that they're actually uh be able to kind of communicate and express
35:35their gratitude um as well as which is a nice thing uh but catherine's always been like that
35:40she's always been very good at involving the the kids and a lot of the things that she does including
35:46the sad events catherine had to keep them under control for the moment that they were inside the
35:53abbey and it was really important because you know she didn't she didn't want them to distract from
35:57what was going on their little antics so she was under the stress to look after them and i think
36:04camilla was actually backing her up here they've all grown up with the same kind of rules in place
36:10so it does take a grammar stone hand at the end unfortunately but but it seems like a nice warm
36:16gentle touch from kate queen camilla taking on her role as as a step-grandmother there as well
36:24listen to your mother child you won't want to get on the wrong side of her even after a funeral
36:32coming up princess anne faces her toughest test yet princess anne leans over to charles and says it
36:40could be the end of the world today charles charles replied to that saying it's not easy her life is
36:45over i mean you could see on the television cameras how moved she was
37:01the royals are the most well-known family anywhere on the globe we all know the big moments you've
37:07got the coronation you've got jubilees we've got weddings but with the highs come the lows
37:14and our longest serving monarch queen elizabeth ii's death now our lip readers are going to tell us what
37:21they believe is being said in these iconic moments there was an outpouring of grief not only from
37:28people in the uk but from all over the world and you just knew what was coming you know there
37:34was going
37:34to be this build-up to the funeral there was going to be talk about her dying and it was
37:40sad it was sad
37:45on the 19th of september 2022 after 70 years on the throne queen elizabeth ii was laid to rest
37:54world leaders and heads of states in attendance and billions watching across the globe a nation saying
38:01goodbye to the only monarch most had ever known the reaction to her death was extraordinary it was like
38:10somebody i think people felt that she symbolized their life young people she was the only monarch
38:17they'd ever known it was like losing someone who was a really good friend after the service at
38:24westminster abbey the queen's final journey was not yet over the coffin traveled west from london to
38:31windsor to the castle she had called home for so many years there at saint george's chapel a more intimate
38:39committal service would take place as the hearse made its way slowly up the long walk the nation
38:46watched once more when the queen's coffin came up the long walk and there was the horse that she loved
38:53emma the fell pony standing there and then later on there were the corgis and it was incredibly emotional
39:00everyone said when they saw emma the pony the fell pony it's all saddled up with the queen's herma's
39:07scarf over her saddle everyone said that they were bought to tears
39:14once at windsor castle the crowds were no more in the quadrangle the family stood waiting
39:21no ceremony now just a brother and sister watching their mother come home
39:27and our lip readers are analyzing their every word and can tell us what they believe was being said
39:34princess anne leans over to charles and says it could be the end of the world today charles
39:39charles replied to that saying it's not easy her life is over a few moments later just before the
39:44hearse passes by charles says it's rather sad isn't it i mean that's actually quite a normal thing to say
39:53isn't it genuinely it does you you lose your parent it is the end of the world and it's actually
40:00a lovely
40:01moment for a brother and a sister to share my word that just shows the gravity of what he must
40:07have been
40:07feeling although it could be the end of the world today just showing the depth of feeling
40:16they're now in windsor for the smaller service taking place there and the interment and
40:22i suppose it's the very end it's the end of the 10-day whirlwind of him getting the job the
40:29grief
40:30the respectful period of mourning for his mother he's now in those final moments where he has to truly
40:38say goodbye it shows us exactly what he felt of his mother which we are i mean deep down we
40:44all know
40:44it but to hear him say it is it's quite special after 10 days of ceremony and farewell it was
40:54finally over
40:57and the burden on the family balancing their public duty and personal grief was plain to see
41:04here we've got princess beatrice her husband eduardo and sarah ferguson and you can see princess
41:10beatrice is quite emotional and she appears to say i'm stopping here eduardo replied to that saying it
41:17was a well-attended service to which princess beatrice said yes eduardo then states that that
41:23changes it the only way we can move on is with pride this is an absolutely devastated family i mean
41:30she
41:31was a formidable figure she was the head of the family but she was also their grand and they knew
41:37her for a long time they were lucky enough to have her for many many years because they're all family
41:44famous for not showing public emotion but again it's a different royal family and the the grandkids
41:50and the great grandkids are not afraid of showing the emotion it shows you how it's changing the
41:57royal family is changing and they are becoming uh definitely becoming more emotional with beatrice we
42:03see that emotion come through which is entirely relatable and makes the royal family more human
42:09i think that those are quite rousing words as well the way to deal with death is with
42:14with pride i suppose pride at knowing her pride at how she lived pride at what reaction
42:20the the nation is giving and i don't know did that comfort them i hope so
42:29after almost a fortnight of formalities what we've heard are not speeches
42:36they are the intimate words of a family grieving under the gaze of the world
42:46i think it is an extraordinary insight into the character of some of the members of the royal family
42:53the royal family at one point were perceived to be cold
42:56offish not loving not caring aloof living a different time what lip reading has shown us from these
43:06conversations is the complete opposite they are emotional they do have feelings they do care
43:17we approach the representatives of the princess royal at buckingham palace with the lip reader's
43:22interpretation of her conversation with charles where she refers to the queen as confused and says she
43:29thinks she needs to come off the throne at the time of broadcast no response has been received
43:37next time we reveal the secrets of the royal tour intrigue for some charles who's behind down at the time
43:46just leans in and say so how did you know about me and camilla
43:50it used to be that what goes on tour stays on tour but the lip readers have shattered that illusion
43:56heartbreak for others okay opens the dialogue and says how good did your mum look over there
