01:45And we read a lot of actresses, but Monica was just amazing.
01:50What did you think after reading the script for the first time?
01:56I mean, this is a project that I developed under my production company, you know, with my producing partners.
02:02And, you know, there were so many different drafts.
02:05We started developing this in 2018.
02:08There was a lot of different writers who came in, a lot of different drafts.
02:13But it wasn't until Jonah Feingold, our director, came in and he just, you know, kind of made it his
02:19own, that it really just, you know, took the script to another level.
02:24You know, something that was very important to me is in rom-coms, you see cities almost play like a
02:31character.
02:32Like movies that are shot in New York or L.A. or, you know, Rome.
02:39You see these movies and they make you want to go to these places, you know.
02:43And this is the first Hollywood rom-com that's shot in Mexico.
02:48And to me, it was very important to, you know, show Mexico as a character and, you know, show Mexico
02:54in a positive light.
02:56Mexico City, the Riviera Maya, Cancun, you know.
02:59So that was something that was really important to me.
03:03Diego, in the movie, you are a great cook.
03:06It's the same in real life.
03:10Sadly, no.
03:12I had to take a lot of cooking lessons for Alejandro.
03:17And after playing Alejandro, I'd say that I'm a better cook.
03:21But before this role, I didn't, I mean, I was, I did not know what I was doing in the
