00:00Terror in space, ok, we'll do.
00:02We'll watch it on the plane.
00:39That was very intentional for this film, you know, because it felt like this, if this is going to be
00:47an environmental story, really we have to look at ourselves as the antagonist, and it was very important to tell
00:55this story.
00:55Now, that doesn't mean we won't have big villains in the future, you know, but for this story, this was
01:01the right way to tell this story.
01:12Well, I think that's the great sin of all these characters, right?
01:16Like, I think that that's the thing.
01:17It was about, and I would say it's not about perfection, but it's about selfishness for all these characters, right?
01:22Like for Jaeger, for Searcher, and ultimately it connects with the theme of the environment.
01:29It's this thing of, like, right now we want immediate gratification, but what does that cost later?
01:35And so for them, thematically as a family, they have to sacrifice their own desires for their own legacy, so
01:42Ethan can find his own path.
01:44And ultimately what this world has to sacrifice a bit, so there's a planet or a world for Ethan to
01:52prosper on in the future, which is obviously something that's super important to what we're actually going through now as
01:59a real society.
02:09I know for me, when Don pitched the film, that was the thing that attracted me so much, and what
02:14I love about this is instead of just two generations of father-son, you get the grandson.
02:20And so it gives you even a broader vision between those three generations.
02:24Look, I think this is a universal truth that fathers and sons, there is tension and love.
02:32And, you know, that goes back millennia.
02:36And so one of the things that I love about this story is that it is universal, and I think
02:42it will touch many hearts.
02:45The last thing, if Mario Bava's Terror in Space can be a small reference for the film.
02:52No, I've never seen that, so... have you?
02:56No.
02:57Terror in Space?
02:58No.
02:59That's interesting.
02:59Now I want to...
03:00Yeah, now you've pitted our interest.
03:02We're going to go read it now.
03:04Or watch it, yeah.
03:05Oh, it's a show.
03:07Terror in Space, okay.
03:08We'll do.
03:09We'll watch it on the plane.
03:12Thank you.
03:12Thank you for your time.
03:13Thank you.
03:14Thank you.
03:14Thank you.
03:14Thank you.
03:15Family ties and all of our strangeness.
03:18Che, ottimo lavoro.
03:20Oh, hmm.
03:20Boom.
03:21Rota, um, Rota, il...
03:22No, ancora.
03:23Che.
