Comunidad de La Guama en pie de lucha: exigen arreglo inmediato de carretera

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS – Residentes de la comunidad de La Guama, en el distrito municipal de Cenoví, se lanzaron a las calles este jueves para manifestar su hartazgo ante el avanzado estado de deterioro de sus vías de comunicación. Con pancartas en mano y consignas de protesta, los comunitarios denunciaron que las promesas de las autoridades se han quedado en palabras, mientras el día a día se vuelve "insoportable".  "No estamos pidiendo, estamos exigiendo"  Los manifestantes, respaldados por el movimiento "Jóvenes y Líderes de Cenoví", señalaron que las condiciones de la carretera principal son deplorables. Según explicaron, el lodo y los enormes baches impiden que los niños asistan a la escuela con normalidad y dificultan el tránsito de cualquier vehículo.  "Nos sentimos como mendigos pidiendo algo que es nuestro derecho. Ya basta de mentiras. La comunidad se cansó de promesas incumplidas", expresó uno de los voceros del movimiento durante la jornada.
