00:09He announced it on social media today.
00:11That was he did talk to the 49ers first, which is which is good.
00:16And the 49ers have officially released him now, which, by the way, means that if Bryce were to change his
00:22mind, the 49ers do not hold his rights.
00:24There is also speculation that the 49ers were about to do that anyway, which I wonder if did that have
00:33something to do with Bryce's decision?
00:34Maybe the 49ers had let him know he was due a one million dollar bonus tomorrow.
00:39Maybe he was aware that that the Niners were going to let him go before before we got to that.
00:44I don't know. But it does to me.
00:47It moves up the urgency with regard to yet another pass rusher.
00:53I know Michael Williams and Nick Bosa are supposed to be back, but it feels like they need more.

01:00And they're a team that loves the depth.
01:01And you don't know if Sam Okawonu is going to come back.
01:05I know they tendered him an offer, but he might end up going somewhere else as well.

01:19And the guy I said was Yutur Grossmatos, not the sexiest of names.
01:23But he's a guy who can be a depth piece at that end spot.
01:27So he's a guy who is yet to leave.
01:29And a lot of their guys quietly are yet to leave.
01:33Like Jawan Jennings is still kind of hanging out there.
01:35And Grossmatos and a few others.
01:37Brian Robinson Jr. is a free agent yet to be signed.
01:40I still think that running back to position needs to be addressed.
01:47And Rashad White is still sitting there.
01:50And that can only mean it's getting cheaper by the day.

01:58But I would love to see someone who is accomplished, who can catch passes out of the backfield, and if

02:15And he's a better receiver than Brian Robinson Jr., so to that extent, he definitely fits better.
02:20But the problem is, if you're Rashad, you're thinking, if I come here, this guy never goes off the field.

02:30But if you're still available on Thursday, nobody around the league is giving you an RB1 job.

07:32And why would the Niners do anything anytime soon other than to do the player a solid?
07:38And if the player didn't really do you a solid over the course of the last however many months,
07:43then you don't have to be motivated to do the right thing by Brandon Ayuk.
07:47And by all accounts, you know, Shanahan in his comments last year toward the end of the year is like,

07:53You know, we don't hear from him.
07:54We don't see him.
07:55And, you know, they would love for him to have rehabbed and come back and played football, but he didn't.
08:01And so I think the 49ers organization is probably thinking, all right, we're going to do what's right for us

08:07And whatever you want, maybe secondary.
08:10Hushman Zada was on Emmanuel Acho's podcast yesterday.
08:15And as you all know, I think, I can assume you all know, but we have TJ on a lot.
08:20He's a friend of ours, and he used to be Brandon Ayuk's personal wide receiver coach.
08:25And he was on there saying, Brandon, yes, you want him on your team.
08:30Brandon is a very good player.
08:32He's like, but my goodness, that has to be with full protection for the organization.
08:39You have to be very, very careful about bringing him in.
08:43That's his own wide receiver coach with a microphone saying that to the world.
08:50So if TJ thinks that, what do you think the other teams around the league think?
08:55You better be careful.

08:57They're thinking we better be careful.
08:59And you've got to make sure that if it happens, you'd want that contract to be totally off the books,
09:05and you can just bring him in for whatever you think is good.
09:08Maybe it's one year and $7.5 million.
09:10He gets the Green Law deal, and that way you roll the dice, but you're not going to be sunk
09:14for a long time.
