15:18act on them um i have been sort of contemplating like whether or not i still even wanted to be
15:26clean if it wasn't necessary in my life anymore if i went through a breakup with somebody that i love
15:33very much but we were both kind of uh not doing so well mentally and i guess you know i'm
15:41i'm used to being the being baby being the one getting taken care of and when i had to start
15:47was there a new guy i after we broke up i did start seeing a new guy yes yes and
15:53what happened there
15:54and so nothing good no no no no this was somebody i had known for a long time actually and
15:59we worked
16:00together and spent a lot of time together and he is also a nightlife person and in this very
16:08situation to partying and going out and stuff like that and you know i was so infatuated with
16:14this person he'd want to go out to the club to the strip club to here to there whatever and
16:20get
16:21up and i'd go with him sober and he'd be like oh i wish you could get up with me
16:26uh you know like if
16:27you're ever gonna it up make sure you do it with me i want to make sure that everything's okay

16:32send the other thing and that was like the cosine that i needed to be like your excuse yeah pretty
16:38much yeah yeah let me use this while he said it's okay so that must mean it's okay right i
16:44went on a
16:44two-month hellacious horrendous awful terrible relapse with not only drugs and alcohol but also
16:54not taking care of my mental health i suffer from really really bad depression and that's like a
16:59constant spiral in my head too like i'm always sad i'm always crying except when i'm fucked up i can
17:04drink my problems away i can spend the money i should be spending on food on an eight ball which
17:11i'll do by myself in my house alone cutting up lines on a mirror next to my bed all night
17:16long
17:17doing that for three days at a time until i finally have to drink myself to sleep and i'm
17:21the whole time sitting there telling myself like this is fine this is fine and then tomorrow you'll stop
17:26and of course tomorrow i wake up and i'm like wow i feel like shit i could really go for
17:30cocaine and
17:30alcohol and start the whole bullshit all over again throughout the time that i was using a lot of the
17:36time i really did miss my ex and a lot of the time i really did regret ending that relationship
17:41i'm like wow i took a really good life and just like threw it away the fog is lifting and
17:49things are
17:49becoming more and more clear i'm like damn i really had a person that actually like
17:58i don't want to like really get upset because that's like so corny and stupid um to be that
18:04diva like crying on the camera like oh i'm so sad but um you know it wasn't like he didn't
18:10care about me because of like what i could give him he didn't care about me because of like what
18:14he
18:14could take from me like we were two people genuinely that like understood each other i don't know what
18:20made you come back but i'm so happy that you came back because like i would have too much of
18:26an ego
18:27to come back after going out i'm a recovering addict i've been sober for almost a decade now
18:34i'm glad i'm so i was sober many years before i ever got into sex work because i can't imagine
18:40what i
18:40would have been like if i was doing this line of work while i was still in active addiction
18:45i've watched a lot of people you know lose the battle to addiction and my i'm very aware that most
18:52people don't win i have almost 10 years and i always feel like that's what stopped me from coming out
18:58or going out not coming out going out going out a few times because like i know if i have
19:05a head full
19:06aaa and a belly full of booze like i would be too embarrassed to come back and so like the
19:12fact
19:12you came back man it's amazing like like it takes so much strength you know what it's funny because
19:18like definitely a part of coming back was ego was looking at myself in the mirror and being like
19:26jesus christ yeah man you look different yeah like i saw it the second night yeah i almost didn't
19:30recognize you at first i lost like 10 pounds and i was like oh damn it got new bags under
19:35my eyes and
19:36they're not designer you'll get it back yeah i mean it's three weeks in and some i'm definitely
19:43putting in the work this summer your addiction is doing push-ups all the time so if you're not working
19:49out like yourself it's going to get stronger than you and it's going to take you over i had a
19:55good fight
19:55and i really fucked it up and every single day at least once something will remind me of
20:02the good things that we had together and we had a lot of really good moments together you know um
20:12yeah yeah i miss him a lot do you think he misses you do i think he misses me
20:18i think it's better not to speculate about those things because that'll just sent me
20:27into a spiral so i'm sure if one day if he misses me he'll tell me
20:32but um for whatever reason i know he still does care somehow it's always on me about like make sure
20:39you go to therapy make sure you go to a meeting oh you're sick make sure you drink orange juice

20:43sure you eat something don't i don't know if he misses me but for whatever reason even
20:52he still cares even though he probably shouldn't after the way everything went down but he does you know
20:58how the other sleeps under the covers like a puzzle fits tight
