00:00All right, Christopher, weigh in here.
00:02Can there have been a diplomatic discussion here?
00:06Do you agree with Dominic that this isn't just about Israel and America?
00:12And what about what Marina says?
00:13Is Pedro Sanchez the only leader who has a spine?
00:17Looking at it as a professional intelligence officer,
00:19I think it's possible to hold a position in which you say
00:22that the Iranian regime is a bad regime, it's funded terrorism,
00:26it's particularly bent in recent years,
00:30has been to supply Russia with drones and drone technology
00:33and ballistic missiles to use against our ally Ukraine.
00:37But I also think it's possible to argue that this is not the way
00:39to deal with Iran, that containment is what you're looking at
00:43and what we actually should be bearing in mind
00:46when we look at this conflict is what happened in Iraq
00:49in the aftermath of a failed state there.
00:52And I don't really believe that you can bomb your way
00:56into regime change or bomb your way into a democratic reform
01:01in Iran in any shape or form.
01:03So I think that the longer term effects of this
01:06will be quite damaging both for the world economy
01:09and for the region.
01:10And I think that we did have a nuclear deal with Iran.
01:13We should not be naive about Iran, its intentions.
01:17But there was no way that Iran was about to attack
01:19either Israel or the US.
01:21And so there's false pretense on which we've gone into the war.
01:24Bye-bye.
01:26Amen.
