00:00I think that many analysts expect that the United States and Israel, with the overwhelming military prowess that the two
00:07countries have, that we should be seeing a military victory.
00:11But a lot of Democrats and perhaps some new isolationist Republicans are asking the questions of what comes next.
00:19What is your thought on what should come next in that country?
00:23Well, they're always questioning what comes next because the isolationists, you know, have spent a long time ever since President
00:31Trump came into office trying to really co-opt the America First agenda to claim that it is actually isolationist,
00:38which it's not.
00:38You know, if we look back at the first Trump administration, obviously the Abraham Accords intervention with President Trump, taking
00:45out al-Baghdadi, al-Solomani, President Trump giving lethal aid to the Ukrainians to prevent a war in Russia.
00:54You know, that that was all started under Biden.
00:56President Trump actually taking decisive action without forever wars, but going in and taking decisive action, using the strength and
01:04the lethality and the dominance that the U.S. military has to actually keep peace in regions, as opposed to,
01:10you know, the prolonged wars that we saw in Iraq and Afghanistan and throughout those years.
01:14So I think that what the president is trying to do is give every opportunity, and he's asked the Iranian
01:21people in a couple of speeches now, this is your opportunity, this is your moment.
01:29Now, if this regime collapses, and it appears that we're getting closer to that, it's your turn to rise up
01:36to create a government or a republic or whatever they want to create that gives you the things that you've
01:42been wanting and dying on the streets for, for all these years, and really without a lot of support from
01:47past U.S. presidents.
01:48You know, we had numerous opportunities where the Iranian people, the regime was somewhat vulnerable and President Obama didn't react.
01:54You know, we had the regime, you know, looking weak, and then President Obama did the JCPOA.
02:01And then, you know, the Biden administration, you know, rushing in billions of dollars in cash to the Iranian regime,
02:08only for them to use that for terrorism and sponsoring the Houthis and Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad and Hamas, instead
02:17of helping the Iranian people.
02:18And the maximum pressure campaign on the regime, you know, caused the people to realize this is the regime that
02:25is not living up and serving the people as it's supposed to, as a government should.
02:30And I think that's what the next steps are.
02:32How can we facilitate?
02:33And I think you're going to see a collapse of the regime, ideally, and the people making decision and the
02:39leaders coming up who are in the resistance to actually form some type of government.
02:46And, of course, the United States will do everything it can and use our resources to make sure that we
02:51have a stability in that process as they move from this collapse of the regime to a new type of
02:59government that would come into play.
03:01It's not going to be a short period of time.
03:02Obviously, this is going to take some time.
03:07It's not going to be a short period of time.
