00:01I play Solara, who is a young girl growing up in a small town, I guess you could equate it
00:08to,
00:08who's never really seen the rest of the world and is stuck with a man who's incredibly abusive,
00:13her mother's blind, and I think she's naive by default.
00:18And when Eli's character comes into town, I think it opens up her eyes to the rest of the world
00:23and she wants to go and experience it and explore and see what else is out there.
00:27I think she's fascinated by Eli when she first meets him.
00:32There's obviously something about him that she's drawn to and she can't really explain it.
00:38He inspires her and maybe even drives her to go out and kind of escape where she's living
00:43and escape an abusive household, and I think she just starts learning from him.
00:49I think that Solara and her mom are incredibly close.
00:56I think her mom has guilt over how their life turned out,
01:01but taking that into consideration, I think she's also really okay with it
01:07because she knows that her daughter is safe, you know, in a very twisted way
01:11because she's being protected by Gary Oldman's character.
01:18You know, I think they have a strong relationship, an incredibly strong bond,
01:22and I think due to that is the reason why Solara is able to actually leave.
01:27There's one scene where her and Eli are sitting by a fire
01:31and he kind of explains to her more or less faith.
01:38And in that conversation she starts understanding how to have faith
01:43and how to start believing that there is a purpose in life
01:45and that you do have a goal.
01:49I don't really know how much more I can say,
01:50but I think she learns about herself, she learns who she is,
01:55and she learns what her purpose is.
