00:02It's about two men and they both have a goal, a belief, an obsession.
00:23One is in the light coming from a good place, the other one is in a darker space and that
00:43is set against a post-apocalyptic backdrop.
00:50The time of the movie, it's set in 2040, which is really not too, it's not really too very
01:00far away.
01:01And there has been a war and nuclear weapons have been fired.
01:09And a huge explosion in the atmosphere, like a thousand suns just sort of scorched the earth
01:26and anyone who was outside would have just been, you know, vaporized.
01:39My character is a despot.
01:45Essentially, he's a dictator and he has built this town.
01:58He's built it through violence and through a very valuable commodity, fresh water, because
02:15he knows where it is.
02:21But it isn't only violence.
02:28He's a smart guy, he comes with, it sort of comes with a philosophy as well.
02:36And he is in search of something.
02:41It's a book.
02:43I have had a blast working with them.
02:49They're so, they're so, they're not pretentious.
02:55It's not, you know, sometimes it can always, sometimes it can get a little too, oh, the art,
03:06darling.
03:06It's all about the art.
03:08You know, and it's, and it's, and there's really, I find it quite refreshing.
03:12There's none of that.
03:14They know what they want.
03:16They have a vision.
03:19They know, they know what they want.
03:22And, and, and they, and they appear to be very comfortable with themselves.
03:29So they are friendly, fun, relaxed, uh, a lot of fun to be around.
03:41The meeting between, um, between, uh, Carnegie, my character and, uh, Eli is...
03:49...
