Trascrizione
01:10significativi twisti e turni all'ulti fino alla fine.
01:23I love the genre, because all movies we're creating, it's not real, it's movies.
01:30But when you're doing sci-fi or something of this nature, it's so definitively a different world, yet this is
01:37an earthbound sci-fi.
01:38And when I saw Joe's design of the film, and Joe Kaczynski's the director, I mean the Sky Tower, it's
01:44so beautiful.
01:45And the kind of technology for an audience, they might not really necessarily recognize how and why this film is
01:51so different.
01:52But even in the Sky Tower, the music is really loud, isn't it? Sorry about that guys, sorry.
01:58And even in the Sky Tower, when you see it, it's not green screen.
02:03One of the things that Joe Kaczynski did is he went atop a volcano, and he filmed cloud formations, night
02:10and day, and the stars.
02:12And then what he did is, when we were shooting, he projected those images on a massive screen all the
02:17way around, and that's what lit the set.
02:19So, there's so many details that he brought to the film, that it's kind of world-creating.
02:27And you've been a major top-level movie star for a long time now, Tom. It doesn't look like it's
02:32going to change any time soon.
02:33So, what is it that you do?
02:35Well, thank you. I have so much fun. I love what I do.
02:37What is it that you do and have done that your contemporaries tend not to?
02:41I mean, I don't want to compare myself with anyone else. I just, but I can tell you personally, it's
02:47something that, I love movies, and I always wanted to make movies.
02:53And I'm fortunate enough to be able to do something that I love, and I don't take it for granted.
02:57It's something that, I'm a cinephile, I'm a film geek, whatever you want to call it.
03:04I mean, I'm a bigger, big fan of films, and I'm always interested in working on different stories, and I
03:11spend my days, you know, with different writers, and directors, and actors talking about stories, and studying, constantly learning, and
03:19seeing how we can push the medium, and finding ways to create characters.
03:23And I think it's just, I'm just really interested in it, and I love doing it.
03:28Thank you very much.
03:28Thank you so much.
03:29Thank you. Thank you all. Thank you. I appreciate you being here.
03:33Thank you.
03:34Thank you.
