02:08però, you know, Joe Kaczynski, il director, quando people are seeing the Sky Tower,
02:15you know, his whole vision for the film was he wasn't going to use green screen,
02:19so when they're seeing the cloud formations on the Sky Tower, basically that's what he did.
02:26He went to Hawaii and he took those big cameras and he photographed for weeks cloud formations,
02:32from sunrise to sunset and even at night.
02:35and then when we were filming, he edited them down and then we had massive screens inside the set
02:41and he would project those images, you know, onto the screen.
02:46So when we were there on the set, it felt like we were a mile up in the sky in
02:49this beautiful Sky Tower,
02:51so that all the lighting that they're seeing, it's all reflective lighting from the cloud formations
02:57that he had previously filmed.
02:59and what happens is it gives such an authenticity and a unique depth in the frame.
03:06And it just, whatever we can do to immerse an audience into a story and into characters,
03:10and that's just one element of what Joe Kaczynski did to create this movie in a very unique way.
03:16and sci-fi today, as you said, it's kind of a new genre that's being reinvented.
03:25Do you see that it's the way to tell more different stories than we're used to seeing?
03:30Look, what I want to do, I just want a great story for an audience and I want to transport
03:34them.
03:35You know, movies, we are creating realities for audiences, it's not real, you know, it's a movie.
03:40But it allows us to have, you know, I mean, to create a different world.
03:48And with the right people doing that, it's, you know, it's really fun.
03:52It's a fun way to create and entertain an audience.
03:56And also because of the, you know, this movie has great adventure and it has a level of romance
04:02and a very, you know, a really fun, involving story.
04:08But I love sci-fi, I always, you know.
04:10Thank you so much.
04:11Thanks, man.
04:11Congratulations.
04:12Thanks, man. Thanks, buddy.
04:13Thank you for being here.
04:13Bye.
