In this high-level breakdown of luxury market psychology, we explore the fundamental shift from being a commodity to becoming a "desirable brand." If a customer is asking for the "price per gram" in a jewelry store, they’ve already missed the point of the brand. This video explains why top-tier businesses must stop acting like vendors and start acting like icons.

The Ferrari Mindset
The hallmark of a true luxury brand is the power to say, "This is not for you." Just like walking into a Ferrari showroom, the focus isn't on the technical minutiae or the cost of the paint; it’s about the prestige and the demand. When you build a brand that is highly sought after, you earn the right to ignore "tire kicker" questions that devalue your craft.

Building Desirability
As a brand builder, your primary objective isn't just to sell a product—it's to create an aura of exclusivity. We discuss the strategic importance of treating customers with respect while maintaining a boundary that protects the brand’s integrity. By shifting the conversation away from penny-pinching and toward value and desire, you position your business in a league of its own. This is how you dominate the luxury space in 2026.

Transcript: If you're a customer and you're coming to shop in a brand and you're asking, you know, how much is it per gram on some, you know, piece, there might not be an answer. So, in some places that's not appropriate because, you know, the way the jewelry business works is you want to be in demand. You don't want to have to answer every question. So, some customers might ask a question, a penny pincher question, a tire kicker question, like, you know, you want to be like Ferrari. Excuse me. You want to know how you want to know what how this car is painted. Get the out of the showroom. You know what I'm saying? That's where where you want to be at. Okay? You want to be able to say, "This is not for you, sir." You know? So, so that's my job as a brand builder. I want to make something desirable. I want to treat my customers with respect.
