00:00Is the Shah's son a viable alternative?
00:05Does the US and Israel want chaos in the region, like what Kiran is asserting?
00:11Or is a firm and stable Iran better?
00:17And can they have that with the current leadership?
00:22I'll answer this kind of backwards.
00:24One is that no, they can't have a stable, the region will not be stable with the current regime.
00:30Although I do find it really funny and kind of interesting that the Supreme Council is now, I guess, in
00:35favor of hereditary succession.
00:38And so we've kind of gone backwards into monarchy.
00:43So we are kind of arguing for two different flavors of monarchy at the moment.
00:48So I think that aside, no, the United States doesn't want chaos.
00:53And I don't think the Israelis do either.
00:55I think that the global energy supply is predicated upon a stable Iran.
01:01I think the regional partners, I think Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Lebanon, Jordan, I think the rest of the
01:09Middle East would very much like to see a stable Iran that wasn't a threat to them.
01:16And as far as, you know, pinpoint strikes and everything else, it's really easy to sit there and say that
01:21when, if you're at a Marriott or something in Dubai right now getting hit with suicide drones, right?
01:26Like, we had friends of ours that were stuck in Dubai and their hotel got struck by a suicide drone,
01:30right?
01:31They're not a military target.
01:32But that's what the, that's what the Iranian regime decided to strike back at, at Western partners and allies of
01:38the United States.
01:39I think there's plenty, I think there's plenty of things to go around to say that.
01:42But no, I don't think the United States or Israel for that matter, but primarily the United States.
01:46I'm less than a fan.
01:47Okay.
01:48I'm going to come back to you in a minute, Kieran.
01:49Let's just let Joey, let's let Joey finish up.
01:52Because Joey, I want to ask you, is, is Reza a viable alternative here?
01:58Do you agree with what our Zoom says on that?
02:01Yeah, I think, I mean, I think he can be a viable candidate, a viable transitional leader.
02:05I think there's no reason why he can't be.
02:07But ultimately, I think that any path forward would require consent of the Iranian people.
02:12And I think that's kind of where the Democratic Republic side of things would come in and allow the Iranian
02:17people,
02:18instead of commentators on here or anywhere else, decide.
02:23I think the Iranian people ought to get a say in who that is.
02:26And if there's a transitional plan in place in which they can go out and have free and fair and
02:30actual elections
02:32and choose kind of their own destiny, then I think that's what the United States would wholeheartedly support,
02:37as several people in the administration have said already.
