00:09Dove essere fantastico essere Batman!
00:11Batman Pianiano!
00:13Grazie. Arrossisco di brutto sotto la maschera.
00:15Signor Bruce, la sua più grande paura...
00:17Serpenti!
00:18No.
00:18Clown!
00:19No, è far parte di nuovo di una famiglia.
00:21No, ora sono i serpenti clown perché mi hai messo quell'idea in testa.
00:26Qual ti credo?
00:28Cool, eh?
00:29Puoi uscire alcune botte?
00:32Sì!
00:33Sì!
00:33Ok!
00:35Ok!
00:36So, do you know, fun facts about LEGO,
00:40that every person on Earth owns an average of 80,
00:44maybe 86 LEGO bricks?
00:47So, it's very probable that you have played with those in your life.
00:53Have you enjoyed it?
00:54And what's your favorite set, if you have one?
00:57Mmm.
00:59Well, sorry, I just had some salad, not cookies.
01:06Yeah, I played with LEGO many times.
01:08As a kid, I used to play with them, I loved them.
01:11I remember as a kid, I had a great one, it was like a ship,
01:15sort of like a freight ship, you know, that had containers.
01:18It was great, because it actually floated in the bath.
01:21So, I loved that.
01:24But then, you know, over the years, I've had a lot of different ones that I loved to play with.
01:29And now, I have sons, two young boys, and they love to build.
01:35You know, we built together, we built everything from Star Wars LEGO,
01:38to stuff from the LEGO movie, the first one, to, you know, now the LEGO Batman stuff.
01:48I love, we, we, LEGO is such a part of my life, kind of even outside of my work.
01:53But considering now how much I do for work, it's just, LEGO is just omnipresent.
01:59It's just always there in my life.
02:02In this movie, you have expanded the concept of darkness, no parents.
02:09So, can you tell us something about this Batman, which is serious, but also very, very fun?
02:16I think that one of the things that we liked about, that we sort of touched on in the first
02:20movie,
02:21was that Batman was very dark, and he, you know, that he is the Dark Knight, of course.
02:26And why, you know, when we did, when we did that song that you just alluded to,
02:31it was a, it sort of dawned on us, like, what, why is he like that?
02:36And we know his parents were killed, and all these things, tragedies happened, but why is, why is he so
02:41upset?
02:41He's got this great life, he's got this bat cave, and he's got a mansion above it.
02:45You know, it's, please.
02:48But, how did he get there? And we wanted to kind of get into, what, what is it?
02:53And we sort of find out that he's a very lonely guy.
02:57He maybe doesn't have a lot of friends.
03:01And what, what is, what is the thing that is making him live his life this way?
03:05You know.
03:07You are also the voice of Bojack Horseman, and Batman and Bojack Horseman are two people,
03:15two fake people, two cartoon people that have a problem on, a fear of family, of commitment,
03:23they fail at bonding to other people.
03:25So, now this interview is an intervention, which is your problem, what's your problem?
03:30Why you, you do character like that, like this?
03:34Because I relate to that character, no, no, this is a joke, of course.
03:41I don't know, I think that I do, I am interested in characters who are flawed, who, not everything is
03:50perfect.
03:50And, and I think that I can relate to, not necessarily exactly relate to their experience.
03:57You know, I have a, I have a very good family, and I'm very connected to them.
04:01And I don't have that same fears that, like, oh, Batman has.
04:06But I understand a lot of those, you know, those are real human sort of emotions.
04:13And it certainly goes to the same for Bojack Horseman.
04:15And, and I, I think that in that is a story.
04:19And I, and I sort of like the idea of investigating that and getting into that and portraying that.
04:25People buy t-shirts with the, with the, which is written, be yourself unless you could be Batman.
04:34Yeah.
04:34So now you're Batman.
04:35So.
04:36Yeah.
04:37Yeah.
04:37It's a cool thing.
04:38Yeah.
04:39I guess.
04:39Yeah.
04:40It's pretty good.
04:41I mean, it's, it's, I'm happy to be Batman.
04:43It's, it's been a, it's been a very cool thing for me.
04:48And also it's just cool for my kids that I get to be Batman.
04:53You know, that their dad is Lego Batman at least.
04:58Lobster is also your favorite.
05:00Yes.
05:02I, mine personally, yes, I eat lobster all day.
05:04Um, and caviar sometimes.
05:08That's, and yeah, that's just for me.
05:11It's simple.
05:11It's very easy.
05:12You know, you just throw it in a pot, boil it up, make it, you know.
05:17Okay.
05:18Thank you.
05:19Thank you.
05:19Bye.
05:20Nice to meet you.
05:21Bye.
