Eight teams will contest the inaugural Mason Hall U-20 league in Tobago.

The league will get going next Sunday but kicked off with a one-day knockoff tournament.

With Mason Hall defending home turf, going unbeaten in the kickoff tournament.

00:00Mason Hall hosted Mount St. George in the first semifinal of the one-day knock-off tournament,
00:05and Varel Wilson called the keeper flat-footed to open the scoring.
00:14But the keeper wasn't at fault on the second goal as Lanny Johnson's shot was just too good.
00:22And that was enough for Mason Hall to reach the final.
00:24A goalkeeping blunder would decide the second semifinal to see Kastara advance over Goodwin.
00:36And Mason Hall would dominate the final against Kastara as Lanny Johnson was on target once more.
00:43Daviel Thomas caught the keeper cheating on his first post,
00:47and Malik Wilson would also expose the keeper on the final goal to secure the title for Mason Hall.
00:53And with the league now set to commence, the organisers spoke on its importance and what to expect.
00:59We specifically looked at villages because we wanted communities, you know,
01:03to get that community feel to support the youths in the areas.
01:07The league is going to run for six Sundays.
01:09Today is the one-day knockout competition.
01:13The league will start from next week.
01:14It will be played at three venues, again in a way to encourage communities to come out and support their teams.
01:21In the league, the top four prizes, $10,000 for the champions, $6,000 for second place,
01:28$4,000 for third place, $2,000 for the fourth place team.
01:32And there are lots of special prizes.
