TFA Football action continued yesterday with a double-header at the Courland ground.

And as expected it was goal after goal as Western Conference leaders Phoenix spanked Saint Clair's Coaching School 12-0.

And Carnbee Mount Pleasant rallied from a goal down to beat Black Rock 3-1.

00:00It was never a matter of if league leaders 1976 Phoenix would win against
00:04in players coaching school, but by how many.
00:07And easily scores that one.
00:10Coaching school are not only the whipping boys, but a chance to pad your stats.
00:14He gets past one, gets past two, gets a shot, and it's Trim.
00:17No one is suggesting Israel Trim was padding his stats, but he was enjoying himself as he
00:23accounted for two of their six goals before the half.
00:26And that's six.
00:28And he wasted little time feasting at the restart, slamming home the loose ball to notch his hat-trick.
00:33And it's Trim. And that's it. That's seven.
00:37The league leaders were far from finished though, as Brian Williams opened his account.
00:41Williams with the shot. It hits the post, but it doesn't cross the line.
00:47Still Williams. And he scores though.
00:50And that is Brian Williams on the score sheet tonight.
00:54Trim had the Midas touch, and his speculative shot would find the back of the net for his beaver trick.
00:59It wasn't only about goals for Trim, as he provided the assist to get Stefano Allain on the score sheet.
01:05And they rounded off the scoring on the night at 12,
01:08Brian Williams getting his second as in players coaching school were flattened once again.
01:12The second encounter between Candi Monk-Pleasant and Blackrock was more competitive,
01:17especially with Blackrock, who are behind Candi in their standings,
01:21but Candi was able to grab the lead through Trevor Allain after eight minutes.
01:29But Candi would catch Blackrock dilly-dallying with the ball, and pounced as Roderick Marcel picked his spot.
01:35And they would do even better to grab the lead before the break.
02:05Candi had a glorious chance to double their lead, but were extremely unlucky.
02:22But Jonathan Cadiz would make up for that miss in the 90th,
02:25as Candi Monk-Pleasant took care of Blackrock 3-1.
