00:42but when you go and you get a new person onto a team or you get rid of some players

00:55all of that crap because you bring one person in one person leave or you bring two people in
01:03and you still got another 25 to try to get those spots and people go oh man this team won

01:10should win this amount of game how the hell you know they don't even know what their team is yet
01:15so i don't i don't buy that who won who lost all i know is they went out and they

04:43yeah if the goal is to get younger faster stronger that's absolutely what always does yeah and listen
04:50man i've listened to people who talk already and they go well he hadn't done this this is the
04:58problem with washington okay we in the last 15 20 years we normally go get people that have been
05:08outstanding at another team for multiple years and then they get here guess what nothing else is left
05:14in the tank yeah you ever thought about getting someone who's ascending and then they will hit
05:22their marks when they're on your team we talked about getting younger since last year we gotta get
05:28faster we gotta get stronger we gotta get uh younger i think he fits all of those you know what

05:36like you said in the fourth year he hit one thing that i know and i i can listen to
05:42everybody talk
05:43but one thing that i know not many people hit the ground and in their first two years
05:49do what they're capable of doing they hit it they start to show you signs they show spurts all the

05:58but when they get consistent at it it's year three four and then they they carry that on normally the
06:05better guys to about year eight or nine or ten an exception one can take it through that but most
06:11of
06:11them start to fall off i think if you're whatever if if you have concerns about how the commanders
06:19have handled free agency thus far i can kind of understand that i don't think always should be one
06:24of those because i think he's he is exactly you talk younger faster stronger you got to get a pass
06:30rusher all those things like that is what they did there i think he's also a really versatile player
06:35i think that's what durante jones wants um i really like the always signing and i thought do as well
06:42so i i like the uh signing the little corner robertson i as i started to because joy said this
06:51little one thing this clip i remember at my house watching that game when he was going one-on-one
06:58with jefferson that kid played that game like he was the baddest sob out there you know what i mean
07:06yeah and just to go against jefferson the way he did in that game i will put some uh i

07:14there and say i'd rather i want to see him play some other games especially if he got a pass

07:18them because he's the type when you watch him the little subtleties that he was doing with jefferson
07:25jefferson likes to throw a lot of hard steps inside outside at you step back and all this that kid
07:31was able to counteract everything he was doing and when you do it with that caliber of a receiver
07:38that's not just something that's just a toss in you know like you did at one time he has that

07:44to do that consistently dude i i'm i i think multiple things can be true right i like what they've
07:51done i think bringing settle in allows they want to play multiple defensive fronts and a dude like
07:59tim settle gives them a true nose should they elect to to deploy that at times yeah and like
08:06even trying to put pain there trying to put kinlaw there like you were you were round pegging a square
08:11hole now you're able to put settle there that belongs there i also just because i know the young
08:18man and have for a long time i i think it's cool that he gets to come back to his
08:23hometown yeah he's
08:24from manassas played a vt tip settle was drafted by the redskins played for the football team and now
08:29gets to be a commander like not a whole lot of dudes are going to be able to complete that
08:34holy trinity going forward and i think if you listen to what durante jones talked about being
08:42multiple now that you see the first three defensive additions they fit that bill because robertson
08:50allows mikey to move outside i also think you can do some fairly creative things with mikey and
08:55with robertson if you want to point out the pff numbers on amik robertson i get that i i think
09:03for me i i think pff pff offers a lot of really useful information i don't particularly care about the
09:10grades um i can show you pff numbers on people that were outstanding i can show you no on numbers
09:16on them that they thought were great that they weren't great so i don't care about all that i i
09:20like the moves i think one thing i've done with and we're seeing it from the loudest parts are the

09:42for me it's like washington has done some work here they haven't done a lot and free agency has
09:54moved fast which is what i expected because the salary cap's 300 million dollars yeah so teams have
10:00a lot of money to spend and if you look at the titans and the raiders particularly they're both god
10:05awful they both have new coaches they've spent a lot we'll see if that ends up being the right
10:10decision but for the move they had to make for me was edge a lot of folks were convinced there

10:19going to be heavy spending offensively apparently they were in on alec pierce that's over now
10:25i don't know that they have been super aggressive like some people wanted i think they've been
10:31relatively aggressive if you are if you are disappointed right now i so i can wrap my brain
10:39around that but i think getting the tonsil thing done just because it was expected shouldn't undermine
