00:00There you are from Pride. Thanks guys. Thanks a lot. Who wants to kick off? Yes, Dave.
00:07So, you are a huge favourite to this FA Cup game. I think it's best that a lot of people
00:15are going to want the upset. Do you understand that as the first question?
00:20Yes, but I think I've been long enough in this country to understand that being favourite doesn't mean anything when
00:25it comes to that competition.
00:28At that time of the day, in that round, I know that they're going to have the belief, the hope,
00:34the conviction that they can beat us, and we need to be very well prepared.
00:38David?
00:40Miguel, when you are so into a race for the Premier League and you have to move to another competition
00:45with a lesser opponent, how is the situation?
00:49What do you say to the players to keep them motivated?
00:52Well, today, at least now for a moment, to enjoy the victory because we knew it was going to be
00:57a really tough one and a really important moment for us with what is remaining in the Premier League.
01:03And tomorrow we can switch. We have played very similar games now in other competitions or in the FA Cup
01:10as well.
01:11So, we are very well aware of what the game is going to demand. So, from tomorrow we will prepare
01:14that.
01:15Joe?
01:16Have you seen or heard about the pitch?
01:19Which week?
01:20On Saturday. Have you seen or heard about the pitch on Saturday?
01:23I ask about the pitch. Why?
01:27Well, there's not a lot of grass in certain areas.
01:29It's normal. It's the beauty of this competition as well. You have to go there. You have to adapt.
01:35But we all have been playing. Since I was little, we all have been playing in those stadiums or wars.
01:40So, you need to adapt to that context and make the most out of it.
01:43There's been quite a few upsets this season. But you, as a player, is there an FA Cup game that
01:49you look back upon and think, I don't know.
01:51I don't want to put that negativity, but I have the feeling that we've been knocked out a few times
01:59in a difficult way and it's a terrible feeling and it feels like it damages your reputation.
02:07So, yeah, you don't want to go through that. So, in order not to go through that, you have to
02:12prepare so well and compete so well.
02:15It can damage other competitions going out in the FA Cup, kind of the fallout from losing a Cup game
02:21like that.
02:21It can, but hopefully we're going to do what we have to do and try to end the right to
02:27win the game.
02:28Kershaw's won on Myles as well. Obviously, he hasn't had loads of games. Do you still feel like for him
02:32there's going to be enough opportunities?
02:34He's obviously looking at the World Cup and there will still be time for him to try and break back
02:37into Tuchel's squad.
02:38Yeah, and when he has those opportunities to grab them, his attitude has been excellent.
02:44And, yeah, he's not playing more because there are other players that they're playing as well, they've been phenomenal.
02:49And that's football, but we will try to give him the meanness that he deserves.
02:55Mikel, Mansfield managed by Nigel Clough. His dad, Brian, was a very famous manager.
02:59Do you know much about the family and the history within the game?
03:03Probably I will read much more after tomorrow. I was very interested when I did that report to understand the
03:07history,
03:08the tradition, the values that they have to understand as well better what they will try to do.
03:12So we will focus that tomorrow.
03:15As well, Max has obviously had to deal with a fairly significant injury for the first time against his team.
03:21How has he dealt with that and what do you think he'd have learned from that?
03:26Well, a lot. First of all, you know, you miss playing. That's the first thing.
03:31So don't take it for granted because it can be taken away from you when you don't expect it and
03:36for a long time as well.
03:37And yeah, he had different routines. He starts to understand more the rehab coaches, the physicians, the doctors,
03:44the importance of the scan, the discipline that you need to maintain yourself fit when you have an injury.
03:49Because if not after, it's going to take a long time to get back to your levels.
03:53But he's done so well. He's been looking really good in training and hopefully we can give him chances to
03:58play.
03:58James, yes, ma'am.
03:59You talked a lot about the volume of games you've got in all competitions.
04:03Is there going to come a point where you're going to have to prioritise it?
04:08Well, we are doing that in certain moments and trying to use the rotations in the right way.
04:13But you need players available. And we had at the start of the season a lot of issues in the
04:17front line,
04:18then in the back line, now in the middle with players with a lot of issues as well.
04:22So it becomes complicated. That's why I said that certain players already are much higher than what they've already done
04:28last season
04:28and we are early in March to imagine.
04:31How much of a problem is the early kick-off?
04:33Sorry?
04:33How much of a problem is the early kick-off?
04:36It's what it is. I mean, we know that I've been here long enough that it has nothing to do
04:40with us.
04:41Okay, last couple. Tom, sorry.
04:43Just going on what John said about the pitch. Can that ever affect selection?
04:46If there's a player that's kind of like a little bit unstable perhaps and knowing that it might be a
04:49bit muddy,
04:50a bit slippery, does that ever affect in your mind how to play?
04:52It can do, especially if there is a player that is carrying some injuries that, yeah,
04:58the pitch can affect him in the wrong way, especially certain muscles.
05:02But hopefully we're going to have the ones that we need fit and available.
05:07And finally Art.
05:08You said before the game that William Saliba had an ankle issue.
05:12Is it related to the ones he had previously?
05:14No, it's the other one. So, yeah, we saw the same yesterday after the game
05:18because he was carrying, he wasn't comfortable to finish the game
05:24and after that straight away he didn't have a good feeling.
05:27So, let's see if he recovers quickly.
05:28Would it be a possibility for the weekend?
05:31I doubt it.
05:33Okay, everyone. Thanks very much.
05:34Thank you. Good night, everyone.
05:35Thank you all.
05:43That's amazing.
