00:06Hi, Michael. That was probably the worst performance since you've been back at the club.
00:11Why did you put that down?
00:13Yeah, disappointed obviously, bitterly disappointed. It hurts that tonight.
00:19We definitely came here in good shape, looking to get something from the game,
00:25if not win the game.
00:27The way it panned out obviously is very disappointing.
00:30There's no way of two ways about that.
00:32It felt like you started quite slowly when maybe you just got the man advantage,
00:36just got the equaliser, should have been the time to take the game.
00:39Why do you think that was at the second half?
00:42Football is football and there's things that happens in the game.
00:47If it goes away from you, certain things that we've got to do, of course,
00:50we can be better, we can be an awful lot better.
00:54We've put ourselves in a good position, in a decent position,
00:57with the performances and the results that we've had.
01:01Tonight hurts.
01:03Hi, Michael. I know it's obviously the first to pick, so you've had to be probably the most disappointed,
01:07but he did seem quite, he seems so calm and so often, he seemed quite angry at the second half.
01:13What was it in particular that seemed to frustrate you?
01:17Just the way the game was going, I think.
01:21Emotions is part of the game and certain things we wanted to do and try and do and you're not
01:25doing it.
01:26The boys have been fantastic. We've lost a game of football.
01:31Listen, it hurts me a lot. I'm really, really disappointed with tonight for different reasons,
01:36but we can't lose sight of the position we've put ourselves in as well.
01:41As much as I'm disappointed and we need to learn from it because it's a bit of a lesson for
01:45us tonight in some ways,
01:48we can't lose sight of the bigger picture as well and we've got to be better for this.
01:53Karl?
01:56You've seen two or three times not only make a sort of hand gesture that you want the team to
02:01play a bit quicker,
02:02and then two or three times the team trying to get the ball down on the left in particular.
02:06Do you think the team has a problem with the width at the moment?
02:10No, Kunja played on the touchline today and he played wide, so we had wit in the team.
02:18I'm not going to dissect the performance. There were some decent bits,
02:22there were a lot of bits we needed to get better at, the boys have been good.
02:25We've played well and had a lot of results, so we've lost the game tonight.
02:28Of course we were all hoping, the boys, myself, the players, the staff,
02:31we were all hoping for a little bit more. It didn't happen for us.
02:36Michael, there were a few contentious moments in the first half,
02:40obviously the sending off and it appeared to be what brought back a bit of an elbow from Dan Byrne
02:46on Luke Shaw.
02:47Have you got a view on Andrew Byrne's incidents?
02:50No, to be honest, I think things happening in the game,
02:55I've not even seen them back, to be brutally honest with you.
02:59The result in itself and things within the game for most of what we can do better is what I'm
03:05really interested in.
03:06I think you get some decisions for you, some against you.
03:09It is what it is. I'm not going to pick them apart right now.
03:13Rich?
03:14Michael, you've got another lengthy gap now between your next game.
03:18Do you see it as a help that you get the time on the training ground or do you wish
03:22you were playing again?
03:23We've got to make the best of it, really.
03:27We've got to make it a help, really.
03:31As I said there about learning lessons and understanding why tonight was what it was and how it happened,
03:38and how it developed going against us, we've got to learn from that.
03:44We look at that and it's another important game.
03:49It's a big week for us and it's a one to look forward to.
03:51We're in a position now that we've put ourselves in and the boys have put themselves in,
03:56that can be really exciting.
03:59We've got to be really positive going into the next game and looking forward to it
04:02because there's a lot to play for.
04:04Thanks, everyone.
04:05Alright.
04:06Cheers, guys.
04:06Talk.
