00:00Hi guys, Matt, do you want to kick us off?
00:03Hi Scott, what's the over-riding emotion after that?
00:06Is it one of anger, really, at that performance?
00:10Yeah, I think anger, I think confusion.
00:14And trying to probably analyse exactly the reason for the performance tonight, really,
00:21because we were way short and was never really in the game.
00:28And in every aspect of our game tonight, we were just way, way short, really.
00:32With the ball, duels, yeah, we never got going tonight.
00:38And many, many things going through my head at this present moment in time.
00:43Coming out the weekend and the emotional fatigue, maybe.
00:48Yeah, I probably need to reflect a little bit tonight and look on it.
00:52What was the game plan?
00:54Because as you touched upon it, it did look very passive, especially in that first half.
00:58Well, like always, the game plan was similar to the game plan that we went to Crystal Palace
01:06and obviously got a result.
01:07We went to Chelsea and got a result.
01:11And that didn't materialise for one reason or another.
01:16So, yeah, we lacked something tonight.
01:20How frustrating to concede from that set piece again for their first goal?
01:23Yeah, really disappointing.
01:24Really, really disappointing.
01:25Poor defending.
01:28And at that moment, as poor as we were in the first half, you want to try and get to
01:33half-time
01:35and to concede that the set play goal was hugely disappointing.
01:42Obviously, fans shared their frustration during the Hannibal change.
01:46They obviously get frustrated with other elements as well.
01:47Do you understand their frustration at this moment?
01:50What would you say to them?
01:50Yeah, I understand their frustration tonight, Matt, for sure.
01:53At times, I've not understood their frustration this year.
01:58Listen, it's been like that for the majority of the time I've been here, really.
02:01You know, for a large part, there's been real, yeah, I felt it last year.
02:10And obviously, I feel this year, I understand tonight.
02:12Absolutely, totally.
02:13We've come here tonight and not brought anything to the game, really.
02:17And I totally get their frustration regarding the Hannibal substitution.
02:23There's reasons why Hannibal needed to come off.
02:28So, yeah, that was the reason.
02:30Obviously, you know, Zian tonight, what was the issue?
02:32Is it a calf?
02:33His calf, yeah.
02:34So, it was disappointing.
02:36He had a slight tight calf after the game at the weekend.
02:39We didn't, I thought he'd be okay tonight.
02:41But yesterday he came in and we needed to scan him.
02:45And there's just a slight issue on his calf.
02:47Nine games left now.
02:48How did you get the players back on track after tonight?
02:50Yeah, I mean, look, it is.
02:52We've been in this situation for large parts this year.
02:54What we've lacked is a consistency.
02:56And that's just been, that's been it at times.
02:58It's just the team.
03:00The team go and pick up a couple of results.
03:03And then all of a sudden, when you're thinking you want to bounce back, we've let ourselves down.
03:08And that inconsistency is happening in games as well, really, where you look at the team and you think, brilliant.
03:12And then the next 20, 30 minutes is something totally different, really.
03:16So, of course, at this level and at the level of what these players want to achieve to be at,
03:26consistency is key.
03:28And at times, we've just fallen short in terms of our performance in it.
03:31And how far was Marcus Edwards from making it tonight?
03:34We don't know, really.
03:35It's day-to-day, really.
03:37It's a back spasm.
03:39He took one shot in training last week at the end of the inning.
03:43He's back spasmed up and he's uncomfortable at the moment.
03:47So, we'll have to see.
03:49Okay, guys.
03:50Cheers, guys.
