00:04Thomas and Friends, making tracks to great destinations.
00:33Dear Christopher, here is your friend Thomas the Tank Engine.
00:37He wanted to come out of his station yard and see the world.
00:40These stories tell you how he did it.
00:43I hope you will like them, because you helped me to make them.
00:46And we'll share some fun times with Gordon.

01:33Then around the back.
01:36There's no separate coal tender.
01:39Do you know which engine this is yet?

04:01Fireworks, picnics, birthday cakes, say the words that's all it takes
04:26The island of Sodor is a wonderful place
04:31There are lots and lots of engines
04:35Who's that puffing along the track?
04:40It's Gordon
04:41Gordon is a great grand engine
04:45He is blue with red stripes
04:48And has the number four painted on his tender
04:52Gordon is one of the strongest engines on Sir Topham Hatt's railway
04:57His special job is pulling the express
05:01Strongest and best, strongest and best
05:04Cleanest and fastest and pulls the express
05:07Gordon wants all the other engines to hear
05:11But one day, Gordon heard something that he hoped none of the other engines could hear
05:20His engine was squeaking
05:24Gordon didn't feel like the most important engine on Sodor anymore
05:29Diesel teased him at the docks
05:32He said Gordon would be sent to the scrapyard
05:36Gordon believed him
05:39Gordon had a special
05:42He had to take children to the docks to catch their boat
05:47Gordon found out that the slower he went
05:49The less he squeaked
05:54So Gordon went slower and slower
05:58Sir Topham Hatt was on board
06:01He wanted to know why the fastest engine on the railway was going so slowly
06:08This made Gordon very unhappy
06:12So Gordon decided it didn't matter if he was going to be scrapped
06:18He would make his last journey the fastest he had ever puffed
06:24Gordon's pistons pumped
06:26And his boiler bubbled
06:28He squeaked, rattled and rolled into the docks
06:36But Gordon didn't mind
06:38The children were on time for their boat
06:42And Sir Topham Hatt didn't scrap Gordon
06:45He sent them to the repair yard
06:48Gordon was very happy
06:51Gordon knew he was an important engine
06:54And Gordon likes to feel important
06:58One day Sir Topham Hatt told Gordon
07:01That if he pulled the express across the island and back again
07:06On time
07:07He would set a new record
07:11Gordon was excited
07:13At the coal depot
07:15His tender was loaded with coal
07:20Gordon was ready to wish away
07:22Then the yard manager gasped
07:27Gordon had been given Henry's coal by mistake
07:31Gordon knew Henry needed special coal
07:34But he thought it would make him go faster
07:36So Gordon pretended not to hear
07:42He raced away
07:49But Henry wasn't happy at all
07:52There was no more special coal at the depot
08:01Gordon saw how sick Henry was
08:05Gordon didn't feel important anymore
08:08And he didn't feel happy
08:10He felt bad
08:19He cared about helping his friend
08:24And if an engine is in trouble
08:26Gordon will be there to help
08:30That's why it feels good to be Gordon
08:39Here is a picture of James
08:42James puffing through the countryside
