Be honest, what made you cry?

00:00Cookie jars brought to you by Moran Chevrolet. It's just out there yesterday.
00:04It's where you always get the best price period question. It's wild to me how many NHL players
00:10have no trade clauses and no movement clauses. It'd be like the third pair blue liner has
00:16a 12 team no trade. John, what NFL teams would be on your list if you were playing now? Heather,
00:24what cities would you not want to live in? We'll just go with three. Oh, with just three,
00:28just three. Oh, because I got a longer list than just three. I'll rip through them. But it's
00:36right now, if any team were to call, I would go anywhere. Right, but I'm putting you the prime
00:41of my career. I wouldn't want to go to Miami because I don't fit into South Beach and it's
00:48way too hot all year long. I'm going to put two teams in one here since I only get three.
00:54the New York teams not going to New York. I had to play there when I was with Washington
00:59and don't want to be a part of any of that. Two other teams just because they're in the
01:05state of Ohio. No, I will never live or work in the state of Ohio unless I am employed by
01:14a team that is going to play in Ohio and we beat them on the regular. The last one, I'll
01:20tell you right now the Chargers because I don't want to play for Jim Harbaugh at all. Really?
01:25Yeah, don't want to play for him. Can we dig a little deeper there? Don't trust him.
01:32Don't trust him? As a coach, no. Jim Harbaugh, no. Heather? Well, our lists are surprisingly
01:38very similar. Oh, okay. Miami's on my list. I don't want to live in Florida. I wouldn't want
01:44to go to Miami. Too hot. Just not really my scene. Cleveland is on my list because Ohio.
01:50Right. Thank you. And then one of my least favorite places, and I know there's more to
01:54Vegas than the strip and gambling. I don't want to go to Vegas. I don't want to live in
02:00Vegas. That's on my list. It's like my least favorite place in the world.
02:04I would say Vegas as well, but Vegas, if you're only guys only are there for the season, I
02:12could deal with Vegas for a little while. Plus, it's a really cool stadium. No, not me. Greg,
02:16you have three cities you wouldn't want to be in. I have three teams. Okay, that's fun
02:21too. And here's what I did. Bad franchises who play outside in the cold. Cleveland, Jets,
02:29Giants. Okay. Okay. I went with Houston. It's an armpit. It's hot, humid, and swampy.
02:36Wouldn't want to live there. Kind of a cool town, though. Vegas, fun to visit. Wouldn't
02:40want to live. And I put Sacramento. They got one sports team. The Kings are so poorly
02:45run. Wouldn't want to be there. Well, no, they have two. Oh, the A's. You could always
02:52get seats. There you go. Okay. Would you want to be on the jury for a high stakes murder
02:57trial? The background. It will take two weeks. You'll be sequestered from everyone
03:00the entire time. Yes. I think it would be unbelievably interesting. And I am exposed
03:09to this regularly because my wife watches trials being a lawyer. So I've watched some
03:13of them and they are the twists, the turns, all of that stuff. But from a dad's
03:17perspective, I'll get two weeks of guilt-free sleep every single night. And it's
03:26basically nine to five. It's cut and dried. Heather, are you into like true crime? Would
03:31you want to do this? Very much so. I love a good crime mystery. But no, I would not want
03:36to do this. I do think it would be fascinating. I'd love to know the behind the scenes. But
03:41I don't really want to leave someone's fate up to me. And I also don't want to be sequestered
03:45for two weeks. Oh, no. Their fate was up to them. Well, it was. But then we have to decide
03:48it, though. But what if we put an innocent man in jail? I just don't really... No. I'd like to
03:55hear
03:55about it later from someone else. No. I was on the jury for four days for an aggravated
04:02assault with a weapons charge case. And that was the most emotionally exhausting thing I have ever
04:08done. So now we are amplifying the stakes and the time required. No. Oh, I'd be fascinated. Yeah,
04:15I'd want to do it. Yeah. Guys, what's the last movie that made you cry? So there's only been
04:22one movie that have ever had the dirt in the eye. Start to well up. Start to well up a
04:29little bit. Yeah. Field of Dreams. When he's playing catch with his dad at the end, I go
04:35back to all those moments playing catch with my dad. Even to this day, I still get the great
04:40opportunity to play catch with my dad. That, it made me well up a little bit. For me, it's the
04:47last movie I watched. I pretty much cry for every movie. And the last movie I watched was
04:52Toy Story 3. Recently? Oh, yeah. Just a couple days ago. We're on a whole... Because the new
04:59Toy Story is coming out soon. So we've been introducing the kids to Toy Story. You know,
05:05dreams isn't real. It can be a commercial right here and I will cry. It's about life, growing
05:12up, going off to college, outgrowing your toys, but still loving your youth. And it's, you
05:16think of your own kids and, yeah, tears. Thank you, Jim. John needed to be dunked on for
05:20that. The Wild Robot. That's one of them, too. My kids are on a Wild Robot streak right
05:27now. Great movie. Now, is Wild Robot Pixar? No. No, it's... I don't know the exact...
05:33Okay, but I've seen it and it does tug at the emotions. Yeah. Yeah, imagine if you had
05:37kids. Yeah. I also went with a cartoon, John. Okay. A not real movie. Pixar. Elemental.
05:47I've never seen it. My kid loves Elemental. If you know, you know. Oh, okay. All right,
05:54guys. Debate with my wife as we went on vacation. When does vacation start to you? The vacation
05:59starts the second the mic goes off. The second I leave this seat, vacation has begun. I put
06:09all cares aside. I am not doing anything for work. I am on vacation.
06:17Heck, yeah. The second you are done. For me, maybe the second I walk out of this building,
06:21when that door shuts behind me, I am on vacation. Starts immediately.
06:26Yeah, ditto. You two. I'll go towards Heather. The moment you leave work.
06:31Wow, I have a very different answer. Once we arrive at the destination.
06:37Huh. So you're just in work mode the whole time?
06:39I'm not in work mode, but I'm not on vacation mode. What?
06:42If you're still got to... You got to get to the airport. You got to go through all of the
06:45hoops until you arrive. Exhale. Walk out. See the place you wanted to be. Then you are on
06:52vacation. What? You're in limbo until you're there. Heck no, you're not.
06:55No, no, no. You are stress-free. I know traveling can create stress, but as soon as I get to
07:02the
07:02airport, even with kids, I'm sitting down. Teddy's got some chicken nuggets and some fries. I'm
07:08partaking of a beverage. Yes. You got responsibilities until you know.
07:12What? What responsibilities? You have none.
07:14You just said you got kids. You got responsibilities.
07:16As long as they're fine. They're not killing each other. They're good. You're good.
07:18Yeah. You're fine. Yeah. If I can see everyone, we're good. Yes. Okay. Very different answers.
07:26Where was your wife? Where did she land on that? Oh, I think she's like with you guys. Like
07:30yeah, the second you leave work. I think she said even the night before when we were packed,
07:36she's on vacation mode at that point. Oh, okay. So her last day before vacation,
07:39she's getting nothing done. Nothing done. Guys, what's your go-to drink on the beach?
07:45Jack and Coke. It's generally my go-to drink unless I'm out for a nice dinner or I'm having
07:51a drink at home. I might go with an old fashioned, but I'm not going to sit there on the
07:56beach
07:56and try and mix an old fashioned. Right. You know, may not have the cherry, may not have
08:00the orange zest. So I'm going with the Jack and Coke every single time. Yeah. I'm not a super
08:07adventurous drinker. Like besides water, I'm going to have like a vodka drink. Okay. Even
08:12though it's not a beach, it's not like a daiquiri or a, I don't know what people,
08:16Mai Tai. It's just, that's all I like. Yeah. Were you ever, was there ever a tequila phase?
08:21Oh, I like tequila. Like a margarita? Well, no, like shots. Oh, hey, we know what tequila
08:27does. Hurricane Heather. Yeah. Well, I might be limiting myself to a Michigan beach because
08:33I'm going to say Atwater Dirty Blonde. Okay. Okay. Mojito. That is a perfect beach
08:42drink. The mint, the lime, the rum. Yeah, but you're not making it on the beach, are you?
08:47You're taking all the fixings for that? Oh, I mean, John, the beach bar. I mean, if you're
08:50on a vacation. Oh, come on. No, you're at the beach. You got the cooler. That's why I
08:55said I'm not making an old fashioned at the beach. I'm taking a bottle of Jack, taking
08:59a quick shot, mixing it with some Coke. That's what I would do. I typically would make my own
09:03mix. Yeah. No, I'm picturing the beach bar. Because they make them light at the beach bar
09:07anyway. They do. Yeah. Watered down. Guys, where do you stand on working out while on
09:13vacation? Love it. Absolutely love it. Because I don't have to go for a run at 3.30 in the
09:19morning. I can do it at 5.30 in the morning before everybody wakes up. I absolutely love
09:29working out on vacation. Even when Teddy takes a nap, Lisa's laying down with him, I'll go
09:34for a run, go for a workout. Absolutely love it. Yeah. I think if you can work out every
09:39day on a vacation, you should. I love working out on vacation. It depends on the type of
09:42vacation. Like when we went to Switzerland, we were hiking and we were active. No, I'm not
09:47going to go work out on top of all of that. But if you're not, yeah, for sure. I love
09:52a
09:52good vacation workout. Start the day, right? Yeah. Vacation is all about doing what you want
09:57when you want to do it. I typically bring a shirt and a pair of shorts to work out in
10:04and
10:05never wear them. Never go to work out.
10:09Well, I ask because we start the new year. Everybody's got resolutions. I'm trying to
10:13eat right and stay active. What I didn't want to do was go on vacation, eat, drink, and lay there
10:19and feel guilty about it. So yeah, I worked out. You don't have to feel guilty about anything on
10:23vacation. But I would. So I made sure to try. Not every day, but get a little extra. That's why
10:26you
10:26need to start your vacation the moment you leave here. Set yourself up for
10:32success. Once you arrive, vacation begins. That's the cookie jar. It's 97.1.
